During downgrading instructions for revo, when I try to run the LGNPST components program, antivirus stops and identifies this NET-WORM.WIN32.KOLAB.EHP
Any suggestions? Thank you

Sonar has actually been greatly improved to detect malicious behavior. Not that i use Norton, but its definitely worlds better than it used to be and far far from the worst

It's because 4 shared is not a trusted program. But there is nothing wrong with it.

As soon as I find the update I will post it as you all know you will have to uninstall and install the new one.

Confirmed. Just reinstalled v12.0.0 from my sd card and it is working fine.
just installed the apk. wouldnt work over wifi.
works just fine on data network. doh!
All, I'm rooted and ROMed using. Cubed's versions. But I am. Not receiving any text messages. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this?
I use go sms pro, and had frozen the stock messaging program. I can send, just not receive.
I defrosted the standard program to no avail.
Could it be a network problem?

Handcent can bypass to stock messenger. Pretty nice little fix. I'd guess freezing the stock app killed it?

Huh...interesting... if you have another phone, and access to ur account through vzw.com, activate the other phone for a lil, make sure all radios on the revo are on and reactivate the revo using the same method... ?

freezing the stock messaging apk will do that. the only one that bypasses that is handcent atm.
My suggestion would be to wipe data and cache from recovery and then reflash the decrap rom.
Yeah, that is what it was. Once i defrosted the stock messaging app I had no problems.
My sister has a Revolution and whenever I put it in Internet Connection mode to root it, the USB connection flickers in and out. "adb devices" yields nothing and I'm at my wits end here. I installed the drivers perfectly, so I don't know what it could be.
ADB works with my Thunderbolt perfectly, so why not her Revolution?
Do you have usb debugging enabled?

Tried both, ended up swapping it for a new one that will be here in a few days.
Hey guys, I was having this problem on Bo 1.1 where i couldn't get bt to turn on. I click on the enable bt button and nothing happens. I was hoping upgrading to Bo 2.0 would help, but it still won't enable. Any ideas?
I also have stock music player installed.

Search the forum for info about this being caused by turning off updates. I don't recall the solution but that might be your problem.
Sent from my VS910 4G using xda app-developers app
Defrost the updater. If that's a no go, then I would start completely over. From tot to bo2.0 on v9. Had to do that a couple of times with the wifey's revo to get her bt (and for a few other issues) working correctly. Regardless, it sounds like the frozen updater needs to be defrosted.

It could be a little bit hard to turn automatically the device on, because its like a torch. It will never boot by itself.
The only way to make this idea possible would be with the Hibernate Modus. But its hard to belive...

You can turn on your device with 'Secure Settings' Plugin in Tasker. Verified and Works well.
There is another alternative method, but its not working since the event listener is not responding when device is off. [But you might try if u are interested!!]
You can use the any scripter to run the script.
Prerequisite: Busy box + Rooted
Code:
input keyevent 6
It turns off the device, but this script not running when device is off to turn it on.
