Hello, someone knows a similar app like this:
Blinker V0.53 - charging LED & TrackBall alerts(SMS / CALL / BATTERY / SIGNAL)
That works on the LG P970
This one: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.martinborjesson.o2xtouchlednotifications
it is great (tip: use the constant to save more battery)

You have to use it in constant mode to save the battery. If it is pulsing, it drains battery like 10 times faster...

and what about the permissions ?
Well, the way I see it: Weird Permissions = Do not Install. :/
Hi,
why not ask the developer about the permissions? He's here on XDA.

Yes i've tried several setups like constant mode but still it consumed battery more than the main display itself (check from about phone).
Nevermind since nova 3 i never used this app anymore.
Edit: after reading author's thread updates, maybe i will try the app again.

Have any of you guys experienced this? This stock LG app is eating all my battery after updating to gingerbread! And I haven't used it once. Never saw this before updating to gingerbread. Guess this gives me yet another reason to root and clean up the bloat-ware.

Seems to be a common problem, I experienced it myself on one of the leaks. The service restarted, found a problem and exited, got restarted etc. ad infinitum.
Agree, just root, and take a look at this post.
If you open dialer immeditely after the phone boots up, on screen phone starts to hog battery. So let the phone sit for a while, 10 minutes or so, and this doesn't happen. Same applies for camera, at least for me. Youtube app does the same regardless of when you open it, haven't found a solution for this one yet.
I had the same issue on V20L. So I removed OSP and the problem is solved.
i have some other doubts about this app and situation in general. if you see actual usage stats, that this app is not running at all (some sec of cpu time). what i noticed, after updating to v20l battery stats are total messed up. f i launch for exaple some other app jus after chargeing...thiss first app will always have 25-30% of battery usage in the end...even if i have used and than killed it seconds.
anyway, i will go for rooting and removin all those unnessesary aps.

I had the same issue however I would question the accuracy of the battery meter. Anyway. froze the OSP app and it doesn't show in stats anymore.
Sent from my LG-P990 using Tapatalk
I had 2 days ago the same problem with the OSP. I fully charged the phone last evening and left it to discharge with wifi on over night. It would have consumed over 8h 10% max, however GB took 25%.
The odd part: this time it wasn't OSP consuming 50% of the drain anymore, but Gallery! wtf?
maybe stupid question..but what is OSP? :/
I'm having trouble with batterylife on my o2x..it drains in 4-5 hours of very little usage.
Thinking of rooting..but can I do that with Superoneclick? when I have 2.3

its an app pre-installed with the phone.
Thank you. So if I root I can freeze that app and save some battery? What other apps would you say I should freeze to improve batterylife?

ya i've done it.Only few apps running. When my screen is on while typing a text i lost 2% so quickly.
i'll use this method
Battery not "calibrated" - we don't have real facts on this one yet, so consider this our best guess
Explanation: It is said that the battery looses track of it's capacity (or rather the phone does) so it needs calibration.
Fix #1: Always flash new ROM:s with full battery.
Fix #2: Follow the guide TechnicR have on recal:
· Turn phone off and charge till full
· Start recovery and wipe battery stats
· Reboot and start the phone
· Use it heavily until it turns of by itself
· Connect charger and turn on the phone and wait until fully charged
i'll get back to you once i do these things..Let see if it fix my problem. If its not fixing means which rom should i use it for better battery life ???

i flash speedmod kernal. But still no luck.In Standby mode battery life is stable. But if i play a game or watch a movie for 5 mins battery drops 20%.
How do i fix it ??

Odp: Mediaserver battery drain
In my case Mediaserver stands ONLY for any app that plays music when the screen is off. So for me it's PowerAMP.

This is really strange. It shouldn't be that way.
Well if you want, you could try repairing the software using PCCompanion or Sony Update Service. And then check if the problem still exist.

I'm having troubles with my battery, it drains too fast! I've used battery calibration tools, I deinstalled samsung push notifications, I'm using juice defender, screen brightness is around 30-40%, but the battery still gives me about 2-3 hours of screen time, or if I don't use the phone that much, still drains to 10-20% by the end of the day. Any suggestions, please!

well, the battery problem in my case was the Dropbox app...it was keeping my phone awake all the time and the battery lasted 20-22hours tops...
i uninstalled it,restarted it and all came back to normal and by normal i mean 2 days of medium usage, sometimes even 3 days...the battery drainage overnight(6-8hours) is between 3-5% (with wifi and 3g off)...
so,im pretty new to this android world, but check out your 3rd party apps, maybe some of them is keeping your phone away from going into deepsleep when you dont use the phone...cheers
Thanks alot, how can I check when my phone goes to deepsleep?

as i mentioned im fairly new to android world, but if u got to settings>battery and click on the graphical picture, below the graphics that shows the battery usage, you will see info about GPS-on,Wi-Fi,Awake,Screen On and Charging...my guess is that "Awake" should not be full blue bar all the way, since when you dont use the phone it should not be awake all the time...
at least this was my case with my Dropbox app,but i dont know about you...if your phone was OK for some period of time then it suddenly changed its behavior, then i guess you should ask yourself which apps you have installed lately, maybe some of them is causing this...uninstall the latest apps, restart your phone and see if that changes your phone back to normal(you can always install those apps back if this doesnt solve it)...
Get the betterbatterystats app to get accurate battery readings as the built in one doesn't work very well.
Disable all push notifications not just samsung. Facebook, WhatsApp, skype, Gmail even xda and tapatalk.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2175059 Greenify that ****, so your phone can sleep (you will not receive notification when apps "hibernate"), get golden kernel by lupohirp for pegasusq governor and use" noop" settings for better read only memory usage. My Xperia V was draining much battery while sleeping, so yesterday I flashed cm-10.1.3-RC2 hoping it could get better.
But it's still draining almost 30% in a period of 8 hours, while I'm sleeping.
I can notice a huge drain caused by Google Services and have already greenified some apps.
It can't be normal, right?! Could someone help me?
Despite this problem, now I have a really better smartphone... So, thank FXP and, please, keep supporting Xperia V.

Not sure if this question belongs to be an own thread...but ok. here we go.
from my experience with Cm i can tell you, if you want better battery life, then you maybe should use a stock firmware!
I used CM and AOKP some weeks before, but the battery drain wasnt normal, not to say horrible.
But this is my experience. You should ask in your CM-Rom Thread, or CM Q/A Thread i think.
I'm a new member and I couldn't ask this in CM thread
I understood what you've said, but even using stock rom I was having that percentage of draining at night...
Do you have a Xperia V?
Could you (or someone else) tell me how much draining is considered normal in the period I've mentioned before?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
30% in 8 hours means that on average your battery will last a day.
That is perfectly normal.
Also, if you keep flashing stuff and installing apps then it drains battery quicker. Leave it alone for a week and see if it settles down.
Sorry, i have a Xperia T.
in the xperia T thread of tilals unofficial CM build (development section) someone mentions also such problems:

Omg, my Galaxy s3 loses only 2% in the same period while sleeping, it's a BIG difference
I had been facing this problem since I bought this phone (2 months ago), that's why I tried to flash CM yesterday... So, I think that nothing will change if I just wait...
Anyway, thank you guys...

apologies, I didn't see that it was 8 hours while you were asleep. That is not right. But it may be because its working hard after a flash. Please leave it for a while and it should settle, or install better battery stats app (Free on xda) and see whats keeping the phone awake.
Also check what your cpu is set at and the governor, if its on performance it will be maxing out all the time..

Some screenshots.
The graphs show another problem: it is like the phone just know that lost some battery when I turn on the screen.
For example: if I leave the phone with 95%, it pass the hole night "thinking" it has this value, but when I turn on the screen the battery instantly loses around 15%, this "fast drain" stabilizes when it reaches the "real percentage".
Could it be a hardware problem? The battery itself...
