[Q] What games aren't on the market?

HI,
i cant find the fifa 10 app in the market? (the fifa 10 game) has any one found it? or is this a known bug in the stock rom

I can see it, but I added the Eris Market Fix to enable all apps. Try that if you didn't before.

Caligo Chaser not on market?
Hey guys,
I've bought this game a week ago and now that i flashed JM7 and voodoo lagfix I can't find it anymore. I've "unknown sources" ticked and i even tried eris market fix without result...
Any ideas?

Im on the same FW and Voodoo Fix, i can see Caligo,
Rerun Eris, reboot and let your phone startup normaly, then shutdown, then boot to recovery mode and click "wipe/clean cache"
Then give it about 10 mins for the paid apps including your Caligo to appear..

What games aren't on the market.
I was just wondering what high end games or apps might be out there that aren't on the market. I just found out about gameloft are there others? Also has the unreal engine 3 made its way to android yet I was looking around and found only older articles saying it might be. The technology demo for it on the I phone look amazing.

From experience, the games from Gameloft aren't on the market. You have to buy them directly from their website. These games include N.O.V.A. HD, UNO HD, Avatar HD, etc etc. There are around 10 or so "HD" games that all have pretty good graphics. I'm not too sure how they are gameplay-wise but I've heard a lot about N.O.V.A... Check out videos on Youtube for this and other Gameloft games.
If you aren't from one of the countries that the full Android market is available in, then you won't be seeing ALOT and you won't be seeing the paid games if that's what you've been searching for. There's a sim emulator app floating around somewhere that would bypass that and as long as you have a valid credit card then you'd be able to buy games and stuff from the market and from gameloft.
Dunno about any really great free games that aren't on the market though..

Thanks for the reply. I'm in Canada so I get paid apps but like you said gameloft games arent on the market and if you didn't read form like xda or use apps like buzz you would never know they exist. So I'm wondering if there are other companys out there the have games that aren't on the market free or paid.

I found Gameloft games through Youtube actually. So far, that's pretty much all I know that isn't in the Android market. It's taking some time for the big developers out there to roll out Android versions of their games but I know of a lot that are working towards that. Expect though that as soon as they do have something, they'd release it via the Android market since that's the main form of distribution for those things anyway. I have no idea why Gameloft chose to ignore the Android market way of distributing games. I guess they want to handle piracy issues their way.
The Android market isn't as strict as the App Store of Apple. That's why there are a lot of other sources of iOS apps out there that provide apps and games not in or not yet in the App store (since they weren't approved or are taking a while to be approved).

You dont need to pay all the gameloft game..just search at 4shared.com 4 example nova.apk.. But i've a problem to install the other game data to memory card because after preinstallation at hp it required install the game data to memory card..anyone can help me please..

Wanted to get a thread going for Gameloft Game versions that work well on the 7.
Please post feedback, and what version of each game you got working!! Gonna assume that selecting Galaxy Tab as your device might be the best option at this stage, for compatibility.

I am confused why the Streak 7 is delivered with Gameloft games on it but there is no selection on their website for it.

My question is how do you get these games loaded? I go to Gameloft's website on my S7 and it automatically tells me there are no games for my device.

Nvidia Tegra Zone is another good choice for streak 7!

nova does work you just have to get the atrix 4g version i play it all the time

Gameloft sucks!!! After you restore, install custom ROM, etc... You loose the game you purchased!(Asphalt5)

Nova 2 takes forever to load then the screen keeps turning black it runs but with problems.Games working for me are ones i bought for my LG G2x. to get those games to my streak i just put in the web address from my phone and i was in i just log in to my GL account and re downloaded the games to the streak free of charge since i already bought them.

Its good to know that some gameloft games work. I have HAWX ver. 3.3.7 working and Shadow Guardian ver 1.0.0, it woud be aweseome to know which version of GT Racing Academy works..

I tried getting Nova to work, even had it update, after it updated it said not original version and I had to close it out.
Would be great to get more info on how it works for us streak users. Hell... I would pay for the app if they would give us the damn option to >.> lol.

I have purchased 2 games from gameloft but through the android market not their website. I opened an account on their website and my games don't show up, probably because I didn't buy them on their site. My question is how do I get the games to download to my streak7 ?
I contacted Gameloft explaining how the asphalt game came preloaded on my device and that it is not showing up in the market and I can't upgrade through the device. Their response was

If your device is not supported, please do not try downloading a game which is not for your specific phone model. Each game is built for one particular device. If your phone is not listed, it's no use trying to get another game build. It will not work and it is not meant to work.

Any updates? NOVA on Streak 7 yet? =)

I can't get NOVA 2 to work. I can get it past the opening movie, even to the title screen but after I hit new game gets stuck loading the first level.
These are the games I have working;
Assassins Creed HD
Dungeon Hunter
Eternal Legacy
Fast 5
Gangster 2
NOVA
Modern Combat Sandstorm
Modern Combat 2
Splinter Cell Conviction
UNO HD
These were all the LG Optimus 2X versions.
Only game I tried other than NOVA 2 that I really wanted was The Settlers HD that I couldn't get working. If any one has a version they know works would really appreciate the info!

Could you be more specific about which model number you selected on the Gameloft page? There is no specific "LG G2X" just a bunch of P-990, p-999 et cetera.
I bought GT Racing for the LG Optimus P-999 (because I thought that was the model you had used) but it does not work at all. Closes immediately after opening.
Also, in addition to these things, I should mention that I can't get Dungeon Hunter 2 to work at all for the DS7.
I bought it for the P999 and it ran once, then crashed every time after, no matter how many times I reinstalled, uninstalled, deleted, cleared cache, rebooted, et cetera.
So I bought it AGAIN for the Optimus Star Dop (P900?) and that one does the same thing.
The one time it does run it will allow you to select a character but as soon as it is done loading the game after the menu it closes and will not get past the intro video from there on out.
All told: Spent about $25 today. Number of games that work? 1. And it's Gangstar 2, a game I am only mildly interested in.
I hate Gameloft SO much.

On second thought I'm pretty sure that either I'm doing something colossally wrong here or the people above me are completely full of ****.
Here is MY list:
Dungeon Hunter 2: LG P-999 (LG G2X) Does not work
Dungeon Hunter 2: LG P-990 (Optimus X2) Does Not Work
Dungeon Hunter 1: Does not EXIST for either of those two versions in the gameloft store (which is why I am leaning towards these people being full of ****)
It does however exist for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7". It does NOT work. That one actually does a force close crash. All others just exit.
GT Racing Academy: LG P-999 (LG G2x) Does NOT work
Gangstar 2: LG-P990 (Optimus X2) WORKS, but, the audio is screwed up and it crashes frequently.
1 out of 6 games works and that one is badly broken.
So please. Be smarter than I was. Don't believe the people in this thread. You will waste a lot of money.
My device: Dell Streak 7 Rooted running Launcher Pro w/ most bloatware removed, other than that, stock.

Woop Woop... I just got Starfront working, the first game I really wanted. The other game I really wanted was The Settlers, still don't have that working, if anyone has any luck please let me know!
I've got the ethos that if I want it I buy it off gameloft, usually try the LG2x version or the OptimusX2 and then if those don't work because ive paid for it I don't mind trying all the cracked versions off the net. Most the list I made above where the versions I just mentioned. But some took around 4 or 5 tries with different apk's and different sd file dowloads, ive probably put in half an hour here and there over a week getting the games I got working for it.
Shame really; Tegra 2 is well oversold on the gamefront, likes to sell itself off the few games in the tegra zone but when it comes down to it, might have a few more cores than other mobile gpu's but is still lagging behind when it comes to mobile game playability.

You're right! I bought it awhile ago and wasn't to impressed. I loaded up some roms and there is a significant improvement. Thanks for the heads up.

n64oid was available on the market for a short time and removed by the author for a few months while it undergoes improvements. It should be back soon, but it's not currently available.

Read that it should be up by late may so anytime soon

where/how are you guys getting ROMS for this and the playstation emulator?
i used to use what I believe was called Rom Finder (premium) but I believe it was removed from the market. and even upon side loading the SDK it tells me that I need the newest version to download ROMS. any suggestions for using this or a new source? I would prefer a direct app on the xoom to do this although i havent been able to find another one.

You just can search it on Google, and for the ROMS, in any web of ROMS and Emulator, just watch the end of the file "Example.N64". If there's no problem for some mods or something i can upalod the apk.

I have this emulator and i use it with my xbox 360 controller. It works pretty good but i cant get it to recognize the l2 and r2 buttons. Other than tha is great.

are the analog sticks actually input in analog---that is to say, when you tilt the stick just a little, does your character walk slowly or whatever the case would be?

I purchased the N64oid and had a backup on Titanium. I restored it and the app works fine but I can't open any of my game zips. To my knowledge N64oid doesn't need a BIOS right? I downloaded my ROMS from coolrom but they don't open. Any ideas. I'm dying for Mario Kart 64.

Make sure they are zip and not rar....but on a different note:
No one worry because sooner or N64oid will come back to the Market the dev is really trust worthy and responds to emails quickly.

They are .zip. This happens with the 3 different ROMs I have.

You are right no BIOS needed. I have Honeycomb 3.1 with the latest Tiamat Xoom 1.4.2 and it runs great. I had purchased this app before it was in the market. I had to reinstall N64oid when I updated to 3.1 since all my applications were cleared.
Since you purchased this legitly on the android market you shouldn't have to worry. Remove the Titanium Backup version. Go to the Android Market and your purchased apps and install from there. Even though its removed from market since you purchased it you should still have access to download it like I do. Hopefully it will start working for you then!

i'm more concerned about gensoid being taken down than n64oid coming back up. that emu definitely needed a few updates that we probably wont get.

It just automatically does. Can anyone else confirm this? Did you originally purchase on the Xoom or another device? Another way to tell is if you look at the web version of the marketplace it should be on your purchased list.

Unfortunately no. It thinks its the d pad so when you push the stick, its in all the way. Also you cant program the dpad and analog sticks differently.

Asphalt 6 problem with ics

Hey guys after Ics update I noticed asphalt 6 is not working fine on ma phone...
So I tried to search it's new version... I had 1.0.3 downloaded from Samsung apps at free so it was impossible to upgrade it to new version Cox it's not there... And market will also not give option of it...
So I downloaded 1.3.3 cracked from torrent... And when I installed it... It's again asking me to download data I don't wanna download it again Cox I already have... plz tell how to make it work ? What should I do ?

Same problem with Asphalt 6 and ICS on G Note
I have the same problem with Asphalt after update to official ICS on Galaxy Note. Game works ok then freezes after playing for about a minute. It also freezes intermittently on a black screen when i press the back button. I also have the version form the Samsung Apps store.

Well, I had faced in many Gameloft Games.
Later I found that Gameloft Games found over net (Torrents & Other Sharing Sites) mostly are not greatly compatible with Galaxy Note. They might turn up showing full screen but most users get stuck at downloading.
Whats the solution?

Another Solution: If you are going for paid games, then go to gameloft store & set compatibility to N7000 and then it will show you the exact version which you should buy. That will be sure shot working for the bucks you paid Besides they have Customer Care Online support if you shell your money for their apps

Order and Chaos is also not working correctly. The game runs fine however i keep getting freezes on my phone every few hours with the touch screen locking up and not accepting input culminating in Android reporting that "the process order and chaos has stopped working" at which point the phone sort of warm reboots and my home screen and app draw is redrawn.

Yep, ruined by the upgrade. Did anyone get the message about trying to check for a newer version, but no connection?

1.0.3 version is for NOTE and free from Samsung Apps it works flawlessly on gingerbread but on ICS it stops after few minutes
1.3.3 works on ICS but you have to re download data as its data is different and 1.0.3 data wont work for 1.3.3
having said that 1.3.3 works on NOTE ICS but its graphics are poor / you can check by playing both versions side by side on ICS
you will see 1.0.3 has better graphics, its more clear even on start up screen where you see ASPHALT logo ..press screen to continue ...it is crisp and in HD quality
but on 1.3.3 its not clear
so right now the only thing is get back to GB and enjoy your asphalt 6 until we get an update
plus you can also play Real Racing 2 on GB and that too dont work on ICS
happy playing

samsung apps removed this game already. No longer available...

Try just download the data, or if you have it, copy to the sdcard /Android/data or /obb on sdcard and on phone memory.

SixGuns (Free) from gameloft?

I wonder if anybody has gotten Six Guns to work on kfhd. Market states the device is incompatible and I downloaded the game via google and the Gameloft launcher just says Not compatible with your device Please request a refund. I know compatibility checks can be removed. It's a sweet game and I have already have it on my evo 4g.

I know there's a device id hack that's floating around here somewheres. That should fix it, there's a whole thread on it I think

Well to add on to a previous thread I made in q&a called kindle device id boo boo I managed to get into a boot loop again buy purchasing device spoof by scheff and changing to nexus s which most app are highly compatible with. This will be the 5 loop from changing my id so there must be another way. There is a post about using apk tool and decompiling the apk and changing some text around so the apk doesn't check or something but that is a lot of work. I want something to work as a global work and not just for one apk

Once I hit a loop a few minutes back I gave up on it for the night because I think I turned off adb, therefore I might have to fashion a factory cable. Radioshack here I come

UPDATE: Gameloft has published the Kindle Fire Edition of this game. And it is SICK

I downloaded it directly from gameloft .... anyway it needed little trick...
I downloaded Dungeon Hunter 3 and in there I clicked on another games from gameloft .. and voila there were some games which wasn't published on kindle market and on google market it wrote that it isn't compatible ....
AND IT WORKED
