Hello everyone! I just had a quick question..maybe someone is having the same problem as I am. So I recently flashed CM7 on my HTC Droid Incredible and I am loving it, but one thing keeps on going wrong. Randomly my android keyboard will lose vibration for a few minutes and then randomly it will come back. my profile isn't on silent either. anyone have any suggestions or comments?
The keyboard loses vibration then it comes back again.
Thank you!

Step one...clear data in your keyboard apk...step two...pm moderator to move this to "Q&A".
I'm not running CM7 but maybe you should check in that rom thread for bugs. For future reference, please post this in the Q/A section not the development section.
What kernel are you using?

Try looking in the CM6 thread in the development section, i'm sure there's a solution there.
So hopefully I don't get smacked down for this.
Here is my problem, recently got a new g2x having owned many other android devices that I rooted and then broke the guerrilla glass dual core nvidia sounded pretty slick. How ever there is no vibrate for SMS or led for anything. (My g2x came with gingerbread) but it really bugged me so I rooted with NV flash after discovering more practical methodes don't work with the Ginger rom... STILL NO VIBRATE OR LED lol and this is in the newest cm7 does anyone have any fix or anything?

When did the problem begin, during the time you bought it or did it just happen suddenly?
It came like that. :/ I think it has something to do with its stock rom which doesn't make since b/c its gone. But it has full haptic feedback but no vibrate notification for SMS, on any messaging app. Same for the led. Right now its running cm 7.1.0 which is I think android 2.3.7

If it did come like that, it just may be a hardware problem, since the problem is existent throughout different ROMs. You should go to the store and get a new phone before the warranty expires. But remember to revert to original ROM with no root or else they won't accept it.
But the vibrate works. For everything except SMS and mms it vibrates for haptic and calls and alarm etc. Just SMS...

Do you still think it could be some sort of deep hardware issue?

hi, maybe you dont have vibrating for sms and mms activated, you can check it in messaging -> settings -> vibrate
Hello, I have an OG Motorola Droid from verizon, with root, and cwm. I installed the cm9 rom, and it worked for a few days, then the touch stopped completely working. I reflashed a gingerbread Rom and it still didn't fix the issue, is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance.
This may sound like a stupid suggestion but have you tried doing a battery pull? That has worked for me in the past.

You'll need to get your touch screen replaced
A good keyword for your troubleshooting search is "digitizer"

Hi everyone, first of all I'd like to apologize if I am posting this in the wrong section, as I'm new to this forum.
Getting back on topic, I'd like to know what kind of ROMS/Kernels you guys are using and hopefully recommend them to me as I'm new to custom ROMS. I am currently using CM7.2 stable with the ETaNA HOC Kernel (because I like experimenting with OC'ing) and while the ROM is great, the Kernel seems to have issues with displaying the battery value (keeps randomly changing from 89 to 91 for example.) I'd prefer it if someone could recommend a CM7 based ROM, seeing as ICS ROMS lack HWA. Also, what kind of CPU manager/settings/etc would you guys recommend? I bought Android Overclock, only to have it force close every time I used it -_-
Sorry if I'm asking too much, but Android and technology in general interests me
Thanks

You're using the Etana DS version which causes these battery jumps.
Just use the normal version if you dont want that (it's said that the DS version has slightly better battery though).
Don't use any 3rd party app, vadonkas kernel brings a lot of tools to do so.
Thanks, I've tried what you'd suggested and it seems to have fixed the issues I had.

It isn't a issue, it's a feature

Or u could have posted this bug in the rom thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000828
If there were no rules I could have said profanities but I can't. The q&a thread is so obvious now. Its at the first page and right at the top of the development forum
EDIT: Your problems are not even urgent or important. And this is not even a bug, its just that cm10 doesn't have the option to lower the intensity. If you want to lower it badly, go flash shadowrom or any other ROM that supports it.
my friend running cm10 does have the option ...its just that he has a galaxy s not a s plus ...maybe you meant this but ok im sry for posting in wrong forum
