Hello,
I'm building a ROM but the only thing is that my battery icon doesn't work.
When my battery is 100% loaded it gives: Full battery icon
When my battery is 50% loaded it gives: Full battery icon
When my battery is 25% loaded it gives: Full battery icon
When my battery is 10% loaded it gives: Battery icon with 2 stripes
When my battery is 5% loaded it gives: Battery icon with exclamation mark
How to fix this?
Also when I check the registry everything looks ok
[HKLM]\controlpanel\Power
Help please!
Thx
Is there really nobody that can help me?
hi Not sure what could be causing this except a fault in one of the dll files for the battery icon. I would test a different taskbar like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520132 this one as it has a number for the battery and you can monitor it better. If all works ok uninstall it and monitor again.
If this does not work i would Hard Rest the phone

hi,
somebody know how i can enable the percentage display in the battery icon in status bar? i had it already activated once but now i cant find the option nowhere in the settings after flashing a new rom.. i thought it was in spare parts but it isnĀ“t there anymore Oo
another thing is that sometimes when i acitvate the screen after sleep i get this weird color error like a negativ image with really strange looking colors.. than i have to put it back to sleepe and wake again and everything is normal again. i had this with lots of different roms so i think maybe it is a faulty display.. any ideas?
You can get battery percentage by downloading Battery indicator from the market.
I got the same problems with my screen only when OC speed is below 245MHZ. Make sure you have got min 384MHZ in sleep mode.
oh ok..
i downloaded the battery indicator but last time i had the percentage showing ion the regular battery symbol in the notification bar. now there are 2 battery icons :/ ..
i'm able to do this in cyanogens roms.. but havent tried on sense-roms, actually..
in cyanogen-roms it's located in spare parts
ok i found it in spare parts after all.. the thing is, spare parts is in the new rom i have (i think its ezhero) in the settings menu. but u can also download spare parts form the market which i did. and in the market version are a few options missing it seems.. well, thanks guys..
I'm using rugglez New Year's gift (cm10 on new BL, BB30a)
I found my battery status not drop on each % and it will decrease only the screen is on. i can use the setting battery to see the history but it is not in detail and it will be erased after phone is shut down.
Also, using battery widget monitor can't read the actual status too, when i woke up and the phone is shut down, BWM apps history only shows a drop from 82% to 0% in one second.
what can be done to solve this problem?
i just want the battery status shows the actual condition even the screen is off for the monitoring purpose.
i remember that i have seen solution on DJ ICS post, but i don't know can the patch be applied on cm10 new BL

Try the app betterbatterystats (paid), and try to let battery go to 0%, fully charge it, go into CWM and clear battery stats
updated to 4.3 few days back,,,,after that battery life is horrible...it goes 100% to 94% wihtin 10mins without any use....den drops 1% in every 5-10mins ( i guess...not sure ) ...but today i found out that my GPS is always on...even though i turned off from from the settings...no gps icon in the notification bar..so it should be off but my battery history graph says otherwise....anyone here have the same issue?? or any solution how can i fix this???
i attached a pic of the graph....
thnx in advance
thnx for the help :/ :/ :/
Just a quick question about an unknown icon in my status bar. I assume it's something related to data, but since neither my Note 8 or any other Samsung device prior have had it, I just want to make sure it's not something running that will kill my battery.
Data saver is on , look for it in Data usage and yes it lower your data consumption and will not affect your battery life
