Are you certain invites can be given out by beta testers? Google Music was strictly invited by Google only.

I asked Google for one...

I read somewhere that users could invite. And in another place that invites where closed for now. Engadget got their invite and gave it a great review. Typically they are biased in their reviews ... I was shocked. This could be big.

I'm in, got invited by a Google mate. No invites for users yet, they seem to be taking it easy.
The app is great on android phones. Really slick and comprehensive. Lots of options for controlling the instant upload, and huddles just seem to work.
Sadly, it isn't Honeycomb'd at all, and looks really rather rubbish on my Transformer. And the website is broken and slow in a number of ways in the browser. Bah.

i hope this is not a US only thing again..

It should be obvious google starts everything in the US, it only makes sense because this is where the company is located.

Not this time, oddly. I'm in the UK and everyone I know on it is in the UK. My Google mate says every employee got invites to give out (10 each apparently) and they're doing it globally.

Yeah the invites you can give to anyone but it seems like only devs that visit the us have gotten them from google

Thanks for the advice. I have a couple of dev friends in france, I will hit them up. They mostly work on wp7 but they are at all the google events

Anyone antisocial?

Who here, besides myself, DOES NOT have a fb or g+ or twitter or any other social networking acct?
I despise them. Real talk

I only have g+, that's it.

I have FB, G+ and Twitter
FB - Used on a daily base to catch up with friends and events.
G+ - Currently a nerd haven with A LOT of awesome people from XDA, but that's also it. Nothing more for the time being.
Twitter - Using it for support and that's about it.

I actually have everything but a myspace. Don't use twitter at all though.

I have a MySpace, FB, G+ and Twitter lol... Haven't used MS in forever, use FB daily, G+ occasionally, and Twitter just to follow some developers.

Facebook is great but has lost a lot of it's appeal in recent years and there can be too much spam, the main reason i use it is to keep in touch with friends who live all over the place, ive tried Twitter but i think it's a pile of crap to be honest i just don't get it, used to have a MySpace account but deleted it last year.

I only have a G+. I would have a FB, but it's not because I'm antisocial (even though I kind of am) but because I hate taking pictures, whether with a group or by myself, especially by myself.

I am antisocial even though I have facebook, twitter, g+. I really like G+ other than one small issue....no one I know is using it.

My wife is dying to go to the rock the bells concert and one of the local radio stations is having a photo contest, the winner getting free tickets to the concert. She is currently in second place, but I'm running out of people to ask. I turn to you, individual who is still reading this post, and ask that you go and vote for my wife's picture. If coming from a phone/device, you may have issues with some browsers. Firefox seems to work well.

Who do you follow on Google Plus?

I want to give Google+ another go - who do you follow that makes it worth visiting in the absence of any of my friends being on there?

Even though I love the way Google + works, none of my friends are there. Having said that I follow, Google, XDA, Shen Ye, IGN, and some other unknown people which Google thinks that they are interesting

Follow your devs, Android news pages and check the what's hot section. Google+ is full of sane people and there are almost no idiots.

I just signed up a few nights ago, but i haven't done anything with it yet. I'm not even motivated. I'm not a big fan of social networks. So signing up was as far as I got, but most people I would consider following are already on XDA, and redundancy is something I'm trying to do away with in my life.
So, we'll see.

So facebook has bought the messaging app WhatsApp. with all the people who dont really like facebook and people with privacy concerns on here, just thought id let you know. We know they are going to use the data they gather from that for ads, just like google does. here the article on it

Noooooooooo. I never tried WhatsApp, but I know the Facebook Developers are really bad at the developing for Android platform. Their Facebook apps are one of the worst apps I ever saw on the Android.
