i dont know about you guys but i'm experiencing a much higher battery consumption on jvr. i got through a day without juice defender just fine on older firmwares now i can barely make it with a batterysaver running. idle drain when i dont use the phone and data is switched off is quite high (8 to 10% over night, in the past i usually had 3% drain max over night. when i turn on the screen i can literaly watch the battery drain, i loose 1% every 5 to 10 mins. i tried nearly all kernels (speedmod is the one i didnt try) but theres no differnece.
is it only me or is the drain on jvr unusually high?
(i dint try jvq, hows the battery on that one?)

Same here with Juwe 5.3 JWR. Battery drain seems a bit high to me.
With juice defender:
7.00 AM (battery full charged) to 2.30 PM -> battery at 34%.
Now I'm using screen filter, but the drain is excessive IMHO.
This evening I'll try to wipe everithing and make a clean install of this rom, with battery recalibration.
this is how it looks on phone with ****load of apps
and 5 monitor type software running in the background
wifi off / data connection off / no tweaks, kernels, themes (well my own), task killer type software
stock+cfroor+stock+ ;]
look at mv drop that is minimal as % is calibrating to it slowly i do not wipe or ****

Dude, using juice defender is as stupid as minimizing a HD gameloft game .Unsinstall this sh** and all similar, turn off wifi,gps-turn them on only when you use them.Reduce screen brightness or set it to auto. With JVR my battery lasted 2 full days with 2 hours of voice calls and 4 hours display on.Now i am with miui, and my battery is at 58% after 25 hours of last charge with 1h40min voice cals and 2h 04 min display on.

After flashing I drained the battery then overcharged it for 5 hours then I calibrated it. I dont know how to post image here so I'll state my battery status. Wifi is off, data is also off. Just did one text message. Anyone can help me?

Cell Standby has nothing to do with battery drain. That 46% is kind of measure to be 100%, so it's not the main problem. You should check it with some utility to help, such as BetterBatteryStats.

Well, I don't know what's wrong with your phone. I too have Zeus1 installed on my OB and I have it for 2 days now. Today I got 15hours 26minutes with 69% battery left.
Here's what I have

Got PowerMax on to help me get through the day
Update: It seems that my battery drains 1% every two hours with occasional time check and sms. Pretty good than stock Froyo.
its normal in almost GB 2.3.4 Versions... Battery is calibrated after some chargers!
experienced that too
these are my settings:
2G connection
GSM only
25% brightness
dark wallpaper
wifi-off
NO running apps on background
done with:
reflashing
battery calibration...still no luck
after sending 1-2 SMS, my battery consumes 1% already
any idea?
While I did not pay much attention to Zeus V1 battery drain I noticed good battery life with Zeus V2..Had 5% drain while idle for 13 hours and about 2 days with moderate to heavy usage...flashing stuff rebooting music and some wifi
Hi,
I just recently purchased a "new" Moto X from eBay. I've been trying to calibrate the battery, and it seems to be slowly improving, but the results are not what I was hoping for.
Day 1:
Battery drained from 100% to 70% in two hours of use
Day 2:
Charged 100%, left it unplugged overnight. Drained from 100% to 88% by the time I woke up. Could not make it throughout the entire day without having to supplement the charge by around 7:00pm. Minimal use.. maybe 2 hours of screen time, 14 hours on.
Day 3 (today):
Charged overnight. Took it off the charge at 11:00am. Battery remained at 100% until 11:30, and sporadically skipped 99, 98, and 97% and jumped straight down to 96%. It is now 3:04pm, and with light use I'm down to 65% battery. 1hr 40m screen on time, and 3hr 55 min on battery. View the 3 attachments for battery life information.
Is this normal, or is my unit defective?
Edit: I end processes as soon as I'm finished with them, I keep the screen on the bare minimum brightness, and I disabled most of the apps that I don't use.
Give it a few days and leave everything on auto. No need to close apps anymore and the battery saver setting is useless. The only things I toggle on and off are WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Everything else is on all of the time. I use lux for brightness because I prefer brighter than stock.
Today has been an average usage day, no calls. Here is my usage

Battery life depends a lot on signal strength. I get horrible battery life at work because I can hardly get two bars to show. Great signal=great battery life. This doesn't apply to Wi-Fi connection because the signal does not have to travel that far.
Hope this helps.

HOW TO SOLVE IT
To solve this issue I leaved the battery drain until the phone goes off and let it charge being off for about 5 hours (it took me less than an hour to reach the 100%, but I belive it didn't show it correctly).
Then turn it on and use it normally; I've seen an improvement, but not enough, so I did the process again and now the phone shut down a minute after it reach 1% (wich took me almost 5 hours of screen usage).

THE ISSUE
Hi there!
Since a few days I have 5.1 in my xt1058, and I did a factory reset just after the update.
The first day it was pretty good in everything, but somehow I had a 1% battery issue (I was in 80% +/- and suddendly jumped into 1%, I don't remember if I did something for this to happen), and when I charged it wont move, not even a restart would solve it, so I leave it charging and in like 30 minutes it was at 100% again!
Then things go bad... at night it would eat 30% of the battery, and with wifi usage or data it would last more than 5 hours till 10-5%.
More of the % eaten was from cell standby (normal problem you can fin everywhere in google) but I read in some other forum to leave the battery die and then recharge it at 100% with the phone off, so I tried it:
I reached 1% and was ready to let it charge all the night, but it wont turn off! I put the brightnes at 100%, turned wifi, data, gps, bluetooth on and set the screen to go off after 30 mins while playing music in play music (stream).
The damn battery was at 1% all the night!
A few hours after I woke up it suddendly shut down, and I put it to charge bing off and it took less than 1 hour to go 100% (with stock cable and wall charger).
I made a battery calibration when pluged at 100% and the mA weren't rising, but now I just leave the phone in standby with wifi and in 30 mins I had 10% battery consumption (just like before), and surely in 1% it wont go off neither.

Already tried factory reset and cache clear, no solution.
Thanks in advance!!! man I would make you an altar if you help me!
Kisses and hugs!

I use a white one that came with the phone, it have 2 usb outputs, 5v and 1150mA.
But I doubt this would be the source of the issue, since I used the same charger when I was in kitkat and this did not happened.
Thanks for the reply!

Don't trust the statistic on 5.1. You should make several 100% charging-0% discharging cycles in order to calibrate your battery.
Hello everyone
In short I have a new Note 9 Exynos, bought 10 days ago, I'm enjoying the phone a lot, but I have a couple of concerns regarding the battery
- I have seen a lot of people saying they're getting 15 or 16 hours on battery - some claim even more - with 5 or 6 hours SOT, while gps on, bluetooth on, autobrightness on, and I can only get the 15 or 16 with nothing but wifi or 4G on and average of 50% brightness. Is that normal or does my battery underperforming?
= I have noticed that after the phone hits 100% battery, it keeps the red LED light on with messages "Fast charging" still playing. Should I be worried or is it normal? Because far as I know any phone gives a "Fully charged" green LED after 100%
Thanks
Your battery life sounds within normal range, especially while the phone's power management is still adjusting to your usage patterns. You can look in the settings to see if any apps or services are using unusual amounts of battery charge.
Does the light turn green eventually? When it says 100%, the level can still be between 99% and 100%. Also, 100% isn't 100% of the battery's absolute capacity. Instead, it refers to 100% of whatever the safe limit was determined to be (and similarly, 0% doesn't really mean zero charge, but rather the lowest level it should be allowed to reach).

So the battery is good regarding expenditure? If so then my complains are both solved. I did a factory reset yesterday and now it charges up to 100% and gives me the "green light/fully charged" alarm. I've attached my battery life after the reset

Few days ago I bought a Anker NANO III charger and using it on my 1ii, at that time still have around 3k2 battery capacity. I did use it for some normal gaming with HS option on. Then the 2nd day, I notice some really fast battery drain (from 100 to 93) after I watch YouTube for like 20m. I check the Battery test and it's show ~3k. Then I tried entering safe mode, then restart, and it's still 3k. Next I tried soft reset, check again and it shows 2k8 and the battery show from 81% to 75% instantly. I did drain all my battery, fully recharge it to calibrate it, but the battery lost the things above for like 3 4 times and now my battery test is like what you see below. My battery option tells my battery is low, even it not reach that % yet. Is my battery getting bad because of the Anker charger or it is some battery read error? Please help!!!

hey there....
I had the same issue too but now it's fxed.. when I bought this phone (second hand) in last Jan it was under the status "Good, no need to replace it" and I blieve it was around 3xxx.xxx mAh but then all of the sudden the battery status changed to "Bad, please replace it" check the screenshots (from Jan to Match)... yesterday when i wanted to check I really got so surprised and happy to see that the battery status got fixed means it was a software isssue... also as you can see in the screenshots the mAh level kept increasing after after couple of charge cycle..... I just wanted to share that with you maybe it would help you get your phone fixed if it's a software issue.... (I kept battery care off for couple of days.. these past days ago.. i'm not sure if it was the reason that my battery status was fixed)
