Today i tried Galaxian Chameleon RC2. I was on Darky 10.2RE and the installation was smooth, but the i'm really disappointed with the performance. We cant even compare with dakry. Try Darkys 10.2.1

Actually Darky v10.3 is out with Darkcore 3.1 Kernel!!
get that!!
i think darky has something special in Darkcore kernel.....yes u can flash any other kernel with but i suggest you to keep the darkcore or upgrade the darkcore.

So I used to use the super optimized kernel for it's oc abilities, but since I've flashed darky 9.4 I can't use it anymore for some reason, so does anyone know another kernel to use?
Have you tried DamianGTO's Kernel? I do love this kernel. Although I'm on Doc's ROM, I think it may work on Darky's 9.4, since it's also based on JS8. It has both Odin and CWM flavors.

Hey Guys,
I currently have a Galaxy i9000m with Darky 10.2 RE. Is it safe to flash the newest Galaxian EE SP1 kernel to this rom? Should lagfixs be disabled? I wasn't able to find a whole lot of solid info on which versions are safe to flash this kernel too. Thanks in advance for any info!
i have the galaxian kernel EE in mi gt i9000 with darky 10.2 EE and works very fine (with lagfix enabled)
Semaphore. Latest JVR sources. Galaxian is still JVQ.

what should i say... just dump...
Ofc you can flash through Lagfix enabled / disabled. Galaxian autodetect it and running with it
Hey Guys,
Thanks for the quick responses, but I"m still a little confused and don't want to mess anything up. I know that darkyrom 10.2 RE is based on JVQ, so is it safe to flash the Galaxian kernal right over it? My confusion lies in the kernal base and its compatibility with JVQ. Thanks again, my apologies for the noob questions haha
I used galaxian on JVQ and it was fine, I think the latest
galaxian kernel is based on latest samsung sources just released. Use tegrak if you want to lower max cpu freq

Just a quick question: I have a stock JVQ rom on my Samsung galaxy S and I recently installed Semaphore's JVQ 1.3.3 kernel. I am wondering if its possible to install the new Semaphore JVS 1.7.0 kernel on my JVQ rom phone.
Yes you can flash 1.7.0

Hey, i'm wondering. Why is it possible ? I'm new to that Kernel installation thing. I run darkys rom with its own darkcore kernel 2.9.3 which is a jvq kernel with a jvq rom and afaik they say it isnt possible to run darkcore 3.1 for example which is for jvr.
so can you explain why its possible ?
I've been expermienting with a ton of Roms, my favourite probably being Cyanogen Mod or Darky's (who would have thought) whats your favourite Rom and Kernel with i?, im currently on Darky 10.2.2 Final Semaphore 1.8.0
personally i think semaphore works better than Dark-Core :O its got voodoo colours and it has better quadrant scores (i know quadrant isnt a relibable source, but we all know that deep down, we all secretly care about the scores )
At the moment I'm using Semaphore 1.8.1 with the Stock (Deodexed) JVT 2.3.5 ROM.
I do admit DarkyROM is good, as that was the first Custom ROM I started to use. But now I've moved on.
CM7, any kernel. It's all good.
CM7 and stock Kernel.
Noob question: What is the advantage of using a custom Kernel.. wouldn't have the Cyanogenmod people changed their Kernel if it wasn't optimal?
What's the best kernel to go with DarkyROM 10.2.2 Final?
I've heard good things about Speedmod. Is it really that good?
i always used galaxian and i was very happy
Do you know if it's compatible with DarkyROM?
