Hey,
I was wondering if anyone was in possesion of a file with a white Froyo-like theme - same as the one in Androbin & EzHero ROM releases to flash on other 2.1 ROMs?

Thanks but I did not made myself clear... It's my bad.
I use these two instead of the Sense, as a matter of fact my ROM has no sense whatsoever. Anyway what I AM looking for is that white taskbar with Froyo like icons and not the launcher. ^__^

Yeah, I've seen it. I don't think that I'll ever have enough time to learn it...
OK, I've been in a post-apocalyptic mood lately, and, after the taskbar, I've skinned PhonEx.
In developing the skin, I focused on the dialer, so other areas aren't yet complete, but they'll work for now (my basis was an Android skin I picked up over at 4pda.ru, so the remaining "unskinned" elements are from there, and I take no credit for that).
::Update:: More skinning...
good job, keep it up!
woow... my phone feels like somthing from fallout now. sweet! ^_^'
I find this very cool... downloading...
it seems my prediction about fallout theme failed =/
not because of poor quality (i haven't been able to try it yet) but i couldn't find a way to install it. i put the .ist file under "\Program Files\Iconsoft\Phonex\skins" folder but phonex didn't recognize it.. any idea why?

Umm, it might be that only PhonEx v2.2 recognizes it... What version are you using?
The skinning program I used has an option for creating a skin for either v2.2 or v2... I think I saw skinning programs for earlier versions (~v1) somewhere, I might try using that...

Thanks for downloading, I'm glad to see people are liking this
I've just added a new version, with more elements skinned and others changed a little... I think it's better now

Cool, thanks, did you actually resize the images within the skin, or did you just use the (W)QVGA option in the skinning program? Interested in this...

Ah, a rusty/post apocalyptic theme suite would be great! But the work involved, maybe one day Right now I wish I could skin HTC Messaging, but I can't yet figure out which files cover what...
Anyways, the skin should work on your TP, I think The skinning program has an option for creating either a (W)QVGA or a (W)VGA skin... So i guess it could work either way, try it...

To install, just copy the .ist file to ''\Program Files\Iconsoft\PhonEx\skins'' and select the skin in the PhonEx options.

Hehehe, i wish i could do that from theme builder, but you have to resize the pics yourself and then build the skin again.

hey,
do you know how to make s2u2 skins? i mean the only thing i can think of to make this skin feels better is combining it with a rusty s2u2 clock/battery skin.
Such as this.....This is the WP7 desktop for X1,is beautiful and fast, and there have any other desktop like this??thanks....

Have a look to this skin, but you need SPB MobileShell. It looks very good on the Xperia.

IMO I think this is a great theme if not the best WP7 theme for a WM phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=859799.

sorry by writing
tnx
Hi there
You can try Dialer One, or Youlu adress book.
Both have smart dialing.
I'm unsure if dialer can be porter to AOSP/CM..as sense apps require sense
I've tested many smart dialers like the Sense's one, but any of them is as good as this made by hTC. They're too slow, at least on Heroes
thanks so much
you could try touchpal dialer bin using it for a while now and i like the way it looks

Brilliant... just love this one! Thanx for the tip!
Yeah, the latest version of TouchPal is really nice. Much better than any of the alternatives I've tried.

Touchpal is awesome....but nothing beats the original sense UI.
Very good looking and fast on my Hero with CM7.
One thing that annoys me with external dialer apps is that when I miss a call it stays missed in the status bar even after I open it and return the call with Touchpal.
This problem is being fixed by opening the native "phone" app.
No searching for a solution on this one
Cheers!

Dialer2 works smoothly on my hero
Here's a combination of a modded LauncherPro (installable over signal23 ones or on its own) and a matching theme for CM7 Theme Chooser.
This is the very first release, so there could be various bugs.
At the bottom of the post you'll find some screenshots with various backgrounds, I think this LPP theme could match almost anything
So here are the files:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/BlackslateLauncherPro.apk
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/BlackslateCM7.apk
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/BlackslateDock.jpg
Alternative transparent dock (even cooler, see last screenshots):
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/BlackslateDockTr.png
Matching Fancy Widget Pro skin (replaces h7cclock, see last screenshots):
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/h7cclock.rar
Here's the font (apply with FontChanger)
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/HelveticaNeueLTCom-Lt.ttf
Icons come from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=804085
Install as normal apks.
CHANGELOG:
0.1: Initial release.
0.2: Fixed charging battery icons.
There are a few minor issues (affecting only CM7 theme, LPP mod should be fine):
Preview not showing in theme chooser, therefore it's hard to find (but it's there!!! look for the name below).
It shows as "JAMTFlatBlack_Free UOT".
Apk name in "Manage Applications" is erratic (still JAMTFlatBlack_Free UOT).
P.S.: CM7 theme is based upon JAMT by ClassicalGas.
This looks good

Sorry just making sure. This is LPP theme mod is based off of LPP vers v0.8.4.1, correct?
Really nice, using the CM theme now. I think I'll try out the LP theme too.
I did have a little bug with the CM7 theme though, it didn't show a screenshot in the theme chooser, which made it a little hard to find/select.

Yeah I know, there are still some bugs I have to work out (preview not showing, incorrect preview name, incorrect apk name in Titanium or application management). I have no idea how to solve them, I think I have to search XDA for solutions

I love the LPP theme, and the typeface, but the CM7 theme doesn't seem to have worked - I got a sense-style theme, whereas in the screenshots shown it appears to be completely different. Is it because my screen is MDPI, or did I do something wrong?
