Is it me or does the spacebar look the size of an invisible ant? It's so tiny.. @ 4.06
Yeah it does but remember he's on the browser, so the ".com" button is taking up some space too. I bet without it, it looks great

Tried Googling too see if I can download got nothing. Pulled it from a Samsung rom, and kept getting fc.
Anyone one know of a modded one

we may never get to see this Keyboard. ='(
I saw this keyboard in action from my cousin's GS2 from Korea. It's insane. I can type on it all day at probably 95% accuracy. With my stock gingerbread keyboard, I'd be lucky to hit 80%
i really hope we can get a dev to port this for us NS4G users.
id really like to give it a try lol
Here's the link to the apk that i grabbed from somewhere else, i've pushed it to system/apps and changed permissions but not it's working, maybe it needs the touchwiz framework?

if you go to the portal on xda you should find they did an artical on the app and its ok not all perfect and if u just hold a printed picture of the person who is needed than u can still get in pointless at that point theory behind it is good

My take is as long as your old lady isn't frequenting this thread she's not likely to get past it to your text messages its not a govnt retina scanner but it def keeps most people out. Even if you left your phone somewhere it would be more than enough security to someone who doesn't know what you look like

cool, but PIN/password/pattern lock is a lot more practical in my view...
Awesome app, my gf will never get in now!! with the pattern and pin, she is good at watching me open it when in the car or something like that and then i see her later playin with it. and i don't think she will be smart enough(lol) to figure out she needs to put a photo to open it.
You know that really nice solid click the screen makes when you open the keyboard? Well, I'm on my third Droid 3 now, and every single one, after two weeks, the sound gets quieter and quiter, until it's complete mush upon opening the keyboard. My friend has had his Droid 3 for about the same time, and doesn't have this issue. Has anyone else had it? Does anyone know of a possible fix somehow? I know it's silly, but I'm picky haha!
I have not had any problems with mine, maybe u push it up to hard.

I know you guys have got to be close to the ICS, have to be. If there is anything I can do to help get you there, let me know. When you get there, there is this really nice launcher called Apex. It's very smooth, it's very lite, yet customizable enough to play with the big boys. I have tried other launchers, and by the end of the day go back to Go Launcher, but this one I have had for 2 days so far. Dig it so far.

Edit: Just realized what he's talking about. He's saying about how when we get ICS Up and Running to try out the Apex launcher.

This phone is unlikely to see a fully functional ICS. It is what it is (previous generation phone).
It may get the non-HW Accelerated, nerfed, partially functional version, but even with that, I don't think there are devs actively working on it.
It is true that this will be a passed by phone in a year, but the work MT has been putting into it keeps us fairly happy with it in the meantime.
Truth be told, the only way to squeeze anything more out of these devices would be to have the processing power of the TFP with a tablet dock (plug your phone into a tablet shell and get tablet functionality) at a reasonable cost (unlikely).

Sadly, I have to agree this phone won't ever receive a fully functional rom such as cm7 but who knows it could but I personally don't think it will.

Very good, til I got my bill from att. But called them and had half of it taken care of. I hated Samsung, but this is making me change my mind. This is an international phone, so that helps.

So I was wondering why its so important to get ics. As you can see I moved on to the Skyrocket from Samsung and Att. We got the leak a couple days ago. I must say, its nice to look at, but for someone who is familiar with the Android I really don't see anything amazing. Menus have changed and are easier to read, my phone was faster before ics. I don't know. I think gb with your mods are perfect.

How technology is today once something bigger and better is released everybody (well almost everybody) wants to be able to have the bigger and better. So they strive to get the new product and once they do they feel accomplished and if need be they fix stuff here and there if they need too.

Indeed, and that's all it really is. I am like that with phones and with cell companies. I have a goal to stick with Att for 2 years.
I agree that with ics, anyone who is new to Android will have an easier time navigating menus and what not.

Probably just take time to re-theme stuff and need be mods.
after few days looking iv managed to work out how to close apps
you have to you double tap the home key and it opens recent apps used in a page with all apps in boxes
to close them just slide the box up and it closes the app
