Is there any chance of getting phone feature in streak 7?

Can anyone explain me the reason, why Dell dont want Update the 3G Model of the Streak7
Because there is no 3G version. The 4G version is under the control of T-Mobile as to whether or not they want to upgrade it.

There is a 3G Version . Here i have the 3G Version-Sells by Dell in germany.
Without any brandings or simlock.
3G Unlocked version is for Europe http://www.dell.com/uk/p/mobile-streak-7/pd?oc=n00lg702&model_id=mobile-streak-7&
the retail/unlocked s7 3/4g's likely have a new rom.
If anyone has purchased a 3/4g in europe that isnt an imported tmo one could they post info on their rom/dump it with nvflash?
This might be a dumb question but when the wifi only version is released is it possible to flash that rom to a 4g model? I really could care less if I had any service other than wifi. I have never used a sim and never will-I bought it new for $100 and only wan wifi.
It should work but there's a pretty good chance that it will break all cell service (but as you mentioned that's not important).
Dell stopped selling the wifi only model in europe and only sells the 3/4g model there now.
If they release HC for wifi they'll hopefully release it for the unlocked 3/4g one sold there.
Did you buy it on contract or not? i'd like a $100 s7

I think they are still selling it on dell's UK site
http://www.dell.com/uk/p/mobile-streak-7/fs
Ah the uk one is selling both now, regardless previously it was only the wifi model available

Hello all,
A few months ago while in Europe I as going to purchase a Euro Galaxy tab which was already voice-call ready. But then friends here on XDA advised me that due to frequency differences, 3G coverage etc, I should just buy a U.S. tab and then flash it to make calls. (which I did, & thanks again guys!!)
So now I may be able to get my hands on a stock Euro Dell Streak 7 that is also a fully working phone. Should I purchase the Euro version, or buy the gimped U.S. version & wait for the Euro phone rom to come around? Does the possible 'No 3G coverage' still apply, or would I just be able to drop my sim & go? just wondering.
Thanks!! Any info is greatly appreciated!!!
**I'm also looking into a Euro Galaxy Tab 8 & 10.

You're right..., the on-line seller was mistaken. It was a euro Dell Streak 5 (phone) that was mistakenly advertised as a Dell Streak 7 phone. Looks like I might pick up a Streak 5 until the ATT Galaxy tab mess gets sorted out:

Here is the application from the FCC Website:
https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas...e=N&application_id=977164&fcc_id='A3LSHVE160S
This is the Korean unit that will be compatible with T Mobile I am still not convinced that we could not get 3g on the ones already out there. Again, this will be a snapdragon chip configuration like the SGS2 for TMO
I guess I have no choice but to hold off and get the Korean one even though my impatience is driving me crazy and wants to buy it now. I also saw that somebody posted the radio frequencies of the Netherlands one and it had all the bands but all I have is his picture to confirm it with no actual proof that I could find on the net.

Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
I don't want it for the LTE I want it because i'm on tmobile and the korean one supposedly has the same chip as tmobiles sgs2 so I'd have a better chance getting 3g speeds on tmobile with the korean one.
The Korea model will be the first with NFC right? Or is the india model nfc enabled?
Hope this launches soon. I really need a NFC enabled Note ASAP.
So far I just see Korea

1. FCC is USA only governing body for all wireless and wired communications - it has nothing to do with Korea, or any other country. Devices, which are designed for other countries than US do not get submitted to FCC.
2. I have reviewed all RF Exposure docs in that FCC listing like 2 weeks before you posted the link and I assure you there is no LTE radio on board and no LTE frequencies have been tested. Since it's officially confirmed by Samsung ST Telecom's Galaxy Note version will have LTE radio - even if we overlook the mere fact that FCC submission suggests this device is meant for US and not any other country - this device can't possibly be the korean version, since it doesnt have LTE radio.
3. According to the documentation this device doesnt even have 3G radio. It only has GSM, GPRS, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth.

I hadn't seen this - what kind of processor? Is is faster?
Like a few of you, I've been holding out for the Korea release to pull the trigger. I sure hope it's worth it...
On this Korea topic...
how does SK cellphone prices compare to U.S. and Europe ones?
and is it easy to find such phones on physical stores?
I ask because, tough I live in Brazil, my uncle works in SK, but he flies a lot and wouldn't be able to order and wait for a delivery.
baaj said:

Its supposed to have the same processor as Tmobiles SGS2 and from what I've heard the main reason they went with that processor is because it supports their HSPA+ 42 network the exynos processors don't

$949 its very expensive than note 3. I remember i bought note 3 for $740
Sent from my SM-N9005
No, it's cheaper than the RRP of the Note 3 which was $999AUD. That means stores could potentially sell it even less at launch than what we paid for the Note 3 if you look around and find the best deal. And no offence but I doubt you got the Note 3 on launch for $740 without a trade-in or staff discount at a store, maybe a month later when the price dropped perhaps.
guys you were right, Australian site is selling it for $969.99 and has in stock while samsung is planning to release in Australia on 17th October.

Not anymore, the latest big little set up from Samsung now supports lte cat-4 and yes it will support all AUS lte frequencies.
EDIT: So what will everybody choose, Snapdragon is the default Aussie device and supports the upcoming cat6 4G?
On the other hand it is speculated that the Octa version may be able to utilize 64bit processing which may be usefull for Android L.
4G. (LTE Cat.4 150/50Mbps) Octa or 4G (LTE Cat.6 300/50Mbps) Quad Core.
My contact says Intellichoice will stock for RRP of $999.00
but also said will go on sale on the 22nd...

thanks for providing such useful information, i am shocked if 64 bit is coming in note 4 then it would be increasing speed than snapdragon one and its going to be a big deal
note: Price drop on provided link now its $929 lol if price drop remains in the current ratio i bet, note 4 would be around $650 in near future lol just kidding

The new colors are not currently available in the US. Of course with every variant/color of any device, availability varies by country/region. Samsung is simply announcing that the colors can now officially go on sale, somewhere in the world, when a carrier or vendor decides to sell it. Samsung has not stated where it is currently available, which probably means that no one has picked it up yet to sell.
No one in the US has announced anything.
