Hello
I've just seen this:
http://android.modaco.com/topic/345950-installing-honeycomb-on-your-flyer-the-complete-guide/
http://www.androidnext.de/news/htc-flyer-mit-honeycomb-3-2-und-sense-1-1-in-bildern/
and I thought this would be really cool if this could be one day running on the honeycomb port for the Galaxy Tab. What do you think? Is this feasable?
This seems to be the rom for the flyer:

Would be great to hear from you if you think this would be possible (as soon as the honeycomb port is completed)

Is it possible to port the Samsung Captivate's, "SmartLife" UI to other phones, specifically the Aria? I know HTC Sense has been ported to other phones, so isnt it possible to grab the UI from Samsung's Captivate and stuff it onto another phone?
That HTC Sense Live Wallpaper is amazing, any ports of it to Galaxy S? It won't run when I try.
Thanks!
I don't think there is. if I'm wrong someone should def hook it up with a link. lol
I know they are actively trying to port Sense (as in the whole thing) to the Captivate but have hit some roadblocks.
If it's just a live wallpaper.. maybe someone in the HTC forums will be kind enough to give you the .apk for it?
But... like everything Sense related it is probably not a standard application and completely proprietary.
Yeah, it needs the framework. But I tried porting that, still doesn't run. Somehow they managed to port it to the Nexus One CyanogenMod ROM, but that APK doesn't work for the Galaxy S.
Hi all devs,
I recently came across a new music player as a leak from the upcoming Honeycomb update for android.
this is the link: http://getandroidstuff.com/honeycomb-music-player-download-android-device/
Is it possible to port this over to mdpi?
Will this work on non-arm7 devices like our Hero?
Greetz!

oouw.. looks great!
let's see what developers can do!
it installs correctly on cronos gingerbread, but wont launch.
guess it needs converting for our smaller screens

Well any chance on seeing a rom like that for the galaxy s?
Or even a port of that sweeeeeeeet looking lockscreen?
I know a lot of you guys are porting the Sensation ROM to our phones. I've tried Virtuous Unity and it's a really awesome ROM. But after all the sensation ROM is for qHD screens and the 16:9 ratio is not the same as that of our phones, which is 5:3. However the myTouch 4G Slide has a WVGA screen and is running something very close to Sense 3.0, so why not save all the resizing work and port this one onto our phones instead?
I've seen this ROM:

But there are quite a few bugs about this one(especially Wi-Fi, the others I can just get on with), and no one seems to be doing anything about it. Could anyone make this port perfect for daily use? I believe a port from a WVGA device will be more convenient for both daily use and Android development.
Thanks a LOT!
