Hmm Guess I gotten hooked on Boot animation creation. I am currently working on screens as I am writing .. Ill post em as I complete and test them for functionality.
All Working on my D3
For those new, I place the bootanimation file into the /data/local/
thus keeping the original files in tact.
Reboot to see the new animation.

Ive been saving these on my sd so i only have to paste the zip to the data/local folder. The bat1.zip said it was like 33 meg though. Might want to look at that. Bat2 was cool. Im sticking with prime so far though. You have a nack for these boot animations
i cut the animation in half and went with jpeg this time png makes larger size Im going to cut down on the eye animation next ... yeah makes a big difference in boot time being smaller...
Cool..........
Batman one is sweet lol

Step 3: move the bootanimation.zip to system>media in root explorer.

Also the video makes the animation seem a little laggy at times but rest assured this runs perfect on our nexus S's

So a friend of mine edited this for the HTC Sensation community, I then edited for our Captivate. I have tested both of these on my phone running CM7. May work on other rom, so please do a nandroid backup just in case.

If the rom supports custom bootanimation it should work. Although the resolution for this bootanimation is for the captivate. Will have to edit the files to fit the infuse screen.

Im looking for ones made to fit our phone, yes there are a lot of bootanimations out there, I think everyone knows that, Im looking ofr ones that wont distort that are made to fit the bionic screen.
Any that work on the X/X² should look fine on here and I wasn't being rude in my response just needed clarity on what you were looking for.
K Thanx
K Thanx Versatile1
I decided to make this because I thought the stock one was very lack luster. In the download is two folders, one is for any phone that is qHD and the other is a CMW zip only for the Bionic. I also included the stock Bionic animation for easy restore for people on the Bionic.

I had to watch the video twice, didn't have sound the first time. Make sure you have volume turned up people!
gotta have for the bionic for sure! i was waiting for my phone to transform but it didn't... sad....
much much cooler, thanks man! Adds that extra awesomeness to the bionics boot, a nice touch!
Nice touch, will definitely install.
If anyone's interested, here's pre-release Bionic boot sound, it's a bit louder and not muffled down like the one that's actually in our Bionics. I tried to make it louder since the system seems to be really quiet at that point in the bootup but this is the best I could do. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15379864/Bionic_fixed.ogg
HEHE if your like I have custom screens in the D3 section can add custom sounds too all the boots there works on my bionic too.. Nice boot sound. Should amp up the volume a tad or is it the recording??
Still love the sound ..
Very nice.

I tried making it louder but for some reason it did't sound very good. Some distortion. My source files aren't the greatest.
For those on Unl3ash3d V1.3, the sound will cut off about 1/3 of the way through the formation of the Droid Eye because the system already loads at that point. I guess because of the tweaks and optimizing that Th3ory did to the ROM, it just boots into the OS much faster than the stock ROM.
Still, very cool boot animation nonetheless.
Nice so I just download and flash with CWM

I threw this together and doesn't look too bad, but still much i plan on doing with it.
Youtube video of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3ApvKE4u_w&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Download link here:http://gunnermike53.com/Themers/dsubs317/mario64.zip
If you want to try it out, download the file, open up a root file explorer, find mario64.zip and copy it. Navigate to \system\media and paste the file. Rename the preexisting bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip1. Now rename mario64.zip to bootanimation.zip. Reboot and check it out.
To come: smoother & longer animation, reduced file size, hopefully some sound, and once that is accomplished, i want to get the droid guy in there instead of Mario...

If your looking for custom boot animations, I highly recommend Absolute System Root Tools. It has a ton of custom boot animations that you can install on the Bionic. There are more than a 100 of them to choose from and you can install or download them for further editing.

Yes, absolute root tools is a nice app with tons of boot animations, but very few, if any, are displayed at 540x960. Therefore you are left with a boot animation that plays but doesn't fit the screen like it should.

I haven't had that problem with the ones I've used but your able to also download them, then edit them. All you have to do is extract the images and adjust their dimensions to your liking then add them back to the zip. May not be the perfect solution for everyone, but gives you many more options than we have.

I've been busy the past week with a few things but plan on getting the site updated shortly. So as of right now, no there's no screenshots but should have them up shortly. I can tell you that I know that at least 95% of them work fine. There are a few that I have not tested. If you feel up to it, test some out for me and let me know your findings.
