i have tried Ehab FG's Vivo Pyramid incredible s 1.35.401.1 and now am currently on newtoroot's Incredible S 3D-Beta 3-(GB 2.3.5 sense 3.0) i like this one more as it feels more smooth and fast but internet pass-through seems missing on both of em..
i have tried Android Revolution HD too. it had internet pass-through but it was mainly on sense 2.1 and didnt had ALL the functions of 3.0..
can someone tell me which ROM to try or any patches i can flash on newtoroot's rom for internet pass-through..??
i'm using Newt's ROM and internet-pass through is working for me. i've noticed however, that sometimes, i have to selected it twice to get it to engage. after that, it's working until i disable it.
which of newt's rom do you use ? Incredible S 3D-Beta 3-(GB 2.3.5 sense 3.0) or [MikRoms]-Newts Pyramid Beta 3[Sense 3.0 GB 2.3.4] ??

I've use Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ SensationXL/Runnymede on HD2 and Internet pass-through is working but... with some ussues. I'm fresh android user - comming this saturday from WinMo where Internet pass-through is a default feature via ActiveSync/MobileCenter and I use it almost all the time.
I'm not sure where problem is but the major problem in my 2 day exp with that ROM is when I turn off Internet Pass-Throug and switch to regular wireless/2G/3G I can connect to desired network but can't pass any traffic through until reboot.

Personally I find that, as is, the ROM is responsive enough for me, solid and reliable, I have found that with setCPU running (with standard Kernel) that I get some momentairy freezes and momentairy freezes accepting calls, just so that your aware of this... with HCDR.Jaccob 4.1 Kernel I couldn't say if the same problem exists as not tested...
This ROM, as is, has no know problems (without SetCPU running)

I didn't want all the three stuff, just wanted to be able to log in to My3 which is something you cannot do without having Planet 3 installed.
I have been running this rom since yesterday and not found any problems with it so far.

What about going to www.three.co.uk with wifi turned off and then clicking My 3 Account near the top right?

There is that I suppose but it's easier if there is a direct click that you don't have to log in to each time.

Set it as a bookmark. There shouldn't be a log in if you are accessing over 3's network.
Is wireless tether not working in this ROM? Can anyone confirm? Ive tried it on 2 wildfires and multiple computers.
It seems to work, but it doesn't alert me to the connection and the computer has no internet despite the wireless connection being there.

The tether issue is a kernel issue.
My kernel seems to only enable tethering in froyo as well, not eclair for some reason.
If I get time I can compile you a kernel which is completely stock but with wireless tether enabled

What i would really like to see with this ROM is something very similar to the WildPuzzle Eclair 1.0.1 (this rom was missing the reboot option on the powerscreen and then reboot into recovery option) but with the 3 boot screen and maybe some of the apps and obviously android wifi tether working on one of them.
Jacob says its his kernel causing the tether issue, but im sure ive ran his kernels before on my eclair wildfire and had wifi tether working, also with the standard kernel ive not had it working recently. Wildpuzzle eclair 1.0 was the last distro i had it working on if that helps isolating the problem?
Just out of interest did front button wake work in this rom, i forgot to try it when i tried the rom.

Wifi Tether works for me on this rom. My pc picked it up straight away and got internet page up straight from the off. I don't mess with kernels and setting cpu etc so it's not that I've done anything to make it work.
Strange, it doesn't work for me with this ROM or Wildpuzzle Eclair 1.0.1? If its not the ROM what could it be? Any ideas anyone?

Sure adding reboot menu is fairly straightforward thanks to the guys here at XDA... so I will add as soon as I get chance....

I like the rom too, the only thing that has always bothered me about it has been the "bubble icons", I wish some dev's would include a patch or an option to disable the look.

Ok just tested this Rom and have to say its much smoother then the Sensation Sense 3
I have left a message on MDJ's original DHD thread requesting him to release this Rom for Vivo as well
Now lets come to the problems in this Rom.
WiFi not working out of the box. I was getting error while starting the WiFi so I installed MDJ's V2 Kernel and that started the WiFi, it finds the networks and lets you select your network but just stay at obtaining IP address and never past that point.
Tried re-flashing it a couple of times but no use
Cellular network is not stable either and it just loose signal completely after every couple of mins
It supports EXT3 file system only and if you have EXT4 on your system the Rom installation will convert it to EXT3 and later converting it to EXT4 will not boot your phone and you'll either have to convert it back to EXT3 or reflash
Apart from these the Rom looks very promising and I would love to use it as my regular Rom once MDJ releases it here

so anyway, i got this running on my IncS, by combing both the roms, IncS 2.30.405.1 boot image, error on wifi, swapped out wifi module in /system/lib/modules with one from IncS 2.30.405.1, now wifi gets stuck on obtaining ip address. Ill need permision from virtuous team to post...
and no backlights

Just installed Beta2 and its too buggy to be used.
Getting FC on almost everything.
Will wait for this to be release officially for Vivo to try again.
Just flashed it, I was shocked at how good it was. Yeah, I got a couple of FCs here and there and WiFi didn't work, but for a beta 2, it's pretty nice!

Here are the two not working ones:
ICS for HTC holiday (raider, velocity, vivid) stable and fast,
RumFloat Beta 5
WCX Illuminati and Dark Raider rom are working fine....
Can anybody confirm this or has a solution?

and make sure the developer has support for that feature, some don't include it.

HTCSync.apk is not included in some ROM's. Beta 5, for example, does not have it included. Just push this file into System\App. If it works, just hit thanks!
Sorry but that didn't work. Was not on RumFloat but on the other one and when i installed your apk it just aks me to replace, so it seems to be already there.
On the other both two i could find HTCSync under "downloaded apps" after i started it thefirst time. On the two not working roms there was nothin in this section.

I've gotten HTC Sync to work with ICS for HTC holiday (raider, velocity, vivid) stable and fast.
Problem is, the Internet Pass-through thing never works for me. But I got HTC Sync to connect to it by reinstalling it 2 times, then updating it to the latest version, THEN selecting HTC Sync everytime I plugged the phone in, and after waiting for like 5 minutes, it starts to work. Weird.

I tried it on HTC holiday (raider, velocity, vivid) stable and fast,
it sync fast and without any problem.
Just download the lastest htc sync from there site and everything is working.
and also i tried Internet Pass-through and everything worked for me.
I used the newest HTC Sync from the site all the time and i also tried everything on different computers.
I tried many different times flashing, wiping and all that stuff but everytime the same result:
Dark Raider and WCX are working.
ICS for HTC holiday (raider, velocity, vivid) stable and fast and RumFloat don't work.
Is there nobody who has an idea for a solution?

Even the wifi hotspot from htc is working, i'm happy because "barnacle" software had bugs sometimes.

Firefox on my laptop ended in time-out. I have tried directly with Chrome on the phone > same thing : timeout.
I thought it was https : no.
I thought it was my computer : no : same thing on Chrome on the device.
I thought it was adfree : no i revert the /etc/host

has anyone used custom sense based rom (as i gather these are the only ones capable) of using the fm radio? I'm happy to use stock, but i was getting frequent and untimely reboots of the device with stock. spiritfm is not compatible with the device.
It is possible you are one of a few that uses the FM on your phone, I never use it (used it about 3x since mobiles had it as a capability from Nokia 5600 or something like that lol! ) that's probably the most likely answer as to why it's not been (or being) answered
PM a ROM DEV is probably your best bet

hi all i have recently got my desire c rooted which was succesful. so i decided to move on a srep further and got to a more advance level and try out custom ROM so i searched abt it and found Cyanogenmod10 to be the most popular and also one of the most supported ROM by developers so i Managed to install all the things properly and now I curreently have CM10 with android 4.1.2 which i great all the things work great and specially the battery life i mean cant even think that my phone had such a long battery life which was possible to acheive with CM10 now i have wifi 3g some gaming and music on all the time since past 1week from the time i got CM10 the battery lasts 1full day plus 3-4 hours more. whereas with stock rom it lasted only 7-8hrs.So CM10 works great inshort.
Now comming to a problem which i faced with CM10- NO FM RADIO app. i did not think abt it earlier but now after flashing i came to know CM does not come with FM . so i did search on net and found Spirit Unlocked and Spirit2 which are 3rd party app as most of you might know for FM radio. and i tried it and the both dnt work at all ,i can install them both but no FM service its just like a app installed it opens and nothing runs no radio works with these two also.
So i thought that if som1could help me with it.what i thought was to get the apk file for FM from stock HTC Desire C rom and try it on my phone with Cm10 but only problem i that where can i get the stock apk file for HTC desire c FM ? can som1 provide me that file ? so i can try it?
