I've been trying out miui and I really love the stock HTC lockscreen you can download. I was wondering if it's possible to extract it and use it for other roms? Is this possible? Thanks.

Its ok to be honest. Like all market lockscreen apps, takes time to show up, but works nicely after that
Does anyone know how to replace the lockscreen completely not through an app?

get familiar with your android.policy.jar.
you will NOT be able to port over MIUI lockscreen by just replacing a couple of files. it is built deep into the framework.
good luck.

EDIT: DUE TO SAMSUNG CHANGING THE SMALI BINARIES, THE APK'S AND JAR FILES DID NOT RECOMPILE CORRECTLY. Because of this, when you flash, you will be greeted with about 1/4 of the apps, and only 1 icon on the launcher, and a lot of FC's from acore. I am working to resolve this, but seeing as how I haven't gotten any work done today, It wont be until later I can get to this. I have removed the link for the time being.
I apologize to anyone who did flash this before this was identified.
Here you guys go.
Sorry it took so long to get this up. Samsung updated the smali binaries, so I had to update mine (thanks Sombionix)
Removed a couple of Apps to allow for system space. (I saw on the Odex'd thread that some people wanted Layer, so I left that for you.
Here we go:
Firmware: UVKA5
Version: 2.2
Basband: T959UVKA5
Rooted: Yes
DeOdexed: Yes
Modded Recovery: Yes
Correct CSC Files: Yes
Download: removed due to deodex issue. will edit link once it's fixed.
Thank you, looking forward to trying it out

Nope, not at all, and actually, I thought about using it, however, people request pure stock when ever we post a modded leak. So this way, they have their pure stock, and if they want, they can use the VCK to mod it.
Best flash method?
Cause If I don't ask someone will, what is the best method of flash. Odin stock->KA5, disable voodoo/lagfix first then just flash cwm, etc. Thanks again for the quick turnaround on this build.

with new builds I like to odin to stock first and then flash. To me this seems like it minimizes any problems you could have when flashing.

yep! Who's on first?
I have seen a few people asking for this so I decided to put it up instead of making people ODIN a fresh install. Flash this with CWM to get a fully functional stock browser on Deodexed EH06.
Nevermind the problem isn't the browser but the framework. ODIN is the best way to fix it. You can ODIN this to get a working browser http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1221614
Edit: This should fix the issue. This will take you to a completely stock theme. Any themes or mods will be erased. I need someone that has the browser problem to test for me.

That will fix the browser, kind of, but you will still be running on a flawed system. And the broswer isn't fully functional, you will notice the status bar is not right for example. If you are willing to test flash what I just put up in the OP. Do a backup in CWM first just to be safe.

I'm having a strange problem. When i press the Menu- Edit from main screen, i get a pop up "Select email application" And then it tries to send an email with some bug report info about the tw launcher. Has anyone else got that? Is there a cure for it? It was working fine up until about a week ago and then it started. I love this launcher but this annoys the heck out of me.
Thanx.
Working...somewhat.
TW4 installed just fine and everything was running well until today. The launcher refuses to keep any of my apps on my homescreen that I move from the app drawer to my homescreen. I'll lock my phone then all of sudden when I get back into it, ALL of the apps on my homescreen are gone. I've already moved the apps from the drawer to my homescreen three times. Does anybody have a fix for this?? If not, I'll have to go back to Launcher Pro, which bums me out because I really like the look of TW4. Any help would be great. Thanks.
Chad

Here it is, a stock app installer!!!
What is this?
This is an all in one tool to install any stock app that was removed with GingerVolt. This will only work on a deodexed rom with my Blitzkrieg kernel or stock kernel that came with GingerVolt. If there are any problems, please let me know! Some apps may not like being dodexed and in turn not work. I make no promises on the apps working once installed, I just provided them and a tool to make it easier. Also, GingerVolt Rom includes the App Widget Picker, so the LG widgets will work on any launcher!!!

How do I use this?
1.) Download the .zip & extract
2.) Make sure drivers are installed
3.) Connect phone and put phone in Internet Connection mode
4.) Open folder
5.) Run StockAppInstaller.bat
6.) Follow options to install whichever apps you want
7.) Reboot when done
