You can use the application ''Desktop VisualizeR'' that can be found in the android market place to change the icons of your applications. I'm not too sure about changing the text though.

Not quite bro, it's just that application, are you sure it would be in the Ubermusic apk?

Sounds like it's being set by the app rather than following system-defined colors. Check any status bar-related XMLs in the app, probably inside res/layout.

You can use this to creat text icon: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.redphx.simpletext&feature=search_result
It work with any launcher
Find in Google Play the key word "minial text theme"
Like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...kyledesignedme.adwtheme&feature=search_result
Or find here, in XDA theme sector: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=527

Just for a quick edit? I think you should just use the stock note editor/ "notepad" on windows "gedit/nano/vi/vim" on ubuntu should suffice for your needs, but using eclipse/notepad++/sublime text is always an option.
Hmmm tried notepad ++ opens up as unreadable.. Must be doing something wrong!
