Genie.apk ported to Android 1.5!!

Hey everyone this is the google weather and news application from Android 2.1 and its finally been ported to 1.5 yaa!
It works good, all the widgets work as well enjoy!!

Do we run this as an update.zip in recovery? I wasnt able to find any apk upon unzipping?

No dont do it through recovery it wont work, it should be there if you unzip it, try renaming the .zip to .apk

[QUESTION] Making a theme for a JB rom

Hi
Could someone mentor me or link me to a few guides/programs on how to make a .zip flashable theme for a JellyBean custom rom?
I did search, however, I could not find a thread about creating a theme for JB. Most were for Themechooser or ICS or MIUI or various other ways.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I would imagine theming JB is the same as theming anything else, mod apks from whatever ROM you're using.

[Q] Themechooser for Stockrom4.04/hydrakernel 5.1

High someone got an link or can upload a zip to install the themechooser?
Like to Keep the Stockrom for several reasons - but the themechooser would be nice - guess there should be a possibility to install it from cwm recovery.

Are you talking about the themechooser found in CM roms? If yes then it wont work on tw based roms. It works on CM roms only.
There are lot of good themes for stock roms too, check themes section, you will find a lot there.

There is no way to install Theme Chooser in TW Roms. Just Install themes you found in Themes & Apps Section as jeetu said above.

Yes. Because the OP is saying he 'ported' the wallpapers, while he only repacked some images in a CWM package.
Furthermore CWM is not the most simple way of installing wallpapers. The most simple way is not ****ing with your /system/ and just downloading some images from a website - like imgur - and applying a wallpaper via Gallery.
Every user understands that and you don't have to be rooted or have CWM installed. And if you think CWM is the simplest way to install a couple of wallpapers you are just ignorant.

And fyi porting means resizing too
If you apply wallpaper from gallery it wont fit to screen properly

Actually whats ur problem? U don't like this mod? Then don't use it damn.....! U know everything.. Then why don't u bring that wallpaper pack here before the OP created this thread...?? If u want u can use.. Otherwise no need to post any ***** Comment... Or make one thread urself....

Calm down buddy it is not a big deal, if you don't like the flashing in CWM so let it be don't use it but don't spam the thread nonetheless great icons :thumbup:I recommend flashing it

It's way easier to download one file than have to go and save each image separately. And just because it's a cwm flashable .zip doesn't mean you need to flash it. You can just use a file explorer app and extract the zip into a folder. It's a 2 step process. Download, extract. Your way is touch and hold, save. Touch and hold, save. Touch and hold, save. Etc.... I'll take the zip thanks!

Can any one make a flashable zip file for Nexus 6 from this mod? This gives visualizer to stock roms

systemUI.apk from a rom won't 100% work on another. So if I create a flashable zip for my rom, it might not work for yours if you run a different rom.
Just try to do it yourself. Instructions seems pretty straight forward.

I did make a modified systemui from the instructions but I don't know how to sign the apk with the given key,
