Anyone know how to take a screenshot with the Bionic? On my G2x it was power+home key, but that isn't working. I tried a search of the forum, no joy.

Bionic didn't come with that built in. You need to root and install an app for screenshots.
Root isn't required on Gingerbread with the right app, fyi.

Drocap2 works great on the Bionic. It's a free app in the market.
ScreenshotER 2 is my favorite. It was the only one that would work properly on the Sensation, so I'm sticking with it.
Found one on the Atrix forum that works well. Need to download the newer version and select the option to invert colors.

No Root Screenshot It doesn't work on Bionic. The captures are distorted. Dev states Screenshot It will work, but it requires root.
Still looking for an app that will work without root.
Why don't you guys just root...?

Not being nitpicky but the icon you have for the Bionic in your sig is the defunct "wannabe Samsung" chassis. Not sure if that was intentional.
Screen shot it trial works perfectly on non rooted bionic. And is free

Working perfect on mine too. Any way to enter my ipad registration data to continue the subscription beyond the 7 day trial?
So the official Netflix app just rolled out, and it works on our fellow HTC phones, the Incredible and Evo. For some reason, the Thunderbolt is not one of the initially supported devices. Any chance some devs can get this to work on our Bolts?
Edit: Here is the APK, thank the fine people over in the EVO forums.

This is confirmed to not be working as is, due to a DRM notification. There may be nothing that can be done at the time being, but we shall see.
Someone post the APK
Currently browsing the Evo/Inc forums looking for an APK.

Getting the same thing on the stock TB.
Also getting a notification about a License required for DRM.
sounds good to me! can't wait to test it
I would love to see some Netflix on my TB. I don't know if the apk will be any good to modify since Netflix servers may just be checking the client's device info.
Can anyone confirm that the apk posted is different than the leak? The leaked version I have is 1.01 build 740558.

Of course that all depends on what it check to see if its a compatible device.

Use the app mybackup root. You can back up all apps and there data and restore them all at one time. Also backups SMS mms and so forth. Works much better than titanium. I use both in tandum. So backup your apps. Boot cwm. Then backup entire rom...flash liberty restore apps. Cake! Restore backup if you don't like current rom.

Liberty is so worth any trouble, although flashing it really is easy. It is super. It was always my favorite on my x, and I love on my bionic. The crazy thing is, it's just an RC. Great work to the devs. Be sure to show them some love.

I can't install the .apk. I've had this problem before with my old Atrix 2. Usually a reboot would fix the issue but this time, no dice. And its not the .apk file as I tried it with files I've already installed. When I hit 'install' nothing happens. I did a quick search and I think this may be common among Motorola devices?
I probably should start a separate thread.
ETA: It was the screen adjuster that was blocking it. I found the solution.

is it better than the standard swype pre installed ?
I've never been a fan of Swype but this keyboard is pretty cool. Seems a lot more responsive than regular Swype. Some pretty nice features in 4.2. Not gonna bother with the clock, though. The circles are a nice touch.
To anyone that is having problems: make sure to move both the original LatinIME.apk and LatinIME.odex from /system/app.

I wasn't able to use it by just the apk . was always giving keyboard has stopped working . However managed to make it work by adding the required .so in lib .
I have compiled a couple apps into it so it will actually write the apn rather than fail cause ics doesnt like the apn settings to be used by third party apps. I am not responsible if anything goes wrong with your phone you are doing all of this at your own risk.

Yeah, Ive had it on my deodexed .621/.605 rooted droid x for about 6 hrs now, its running smooth and in all honesty its the best ROM Ive ever used as far a WIFI connection goes. Every one I know that has the OG droid X had WiFi prob's including me, it always dropped you for no reason or on some Roms it wouldn't connect at all but I haven't dropped once since Ive been running this. I dont know what Kiladar did to this but whatever it is my WiFi is scared to break connection. :goodThanks BTW Kiladar):good:
As far as the rest of the Rom, it runs smooth and everything Ive opened or tried is working like a charm, the only thing that ive run across that doesnt work so good is the themes from theme chooser. It has a problem resizing the theme for my screen size but I dont think thats the Roms fault. You can still use them but not all of them will fit correctly (not so bad if you dont get the ones with writing on the background) I will see about getting you some screen shots when I have access to a camera. my GF is out of town at the moment and I dont have a way to take any pics but maybe ill try the mirror method and see if that comes out clear enough.
If you hold the power button you can take a screenshot from there just an fyi

Anyone have a mirror or a link to something other than 4shared?
Just coming back to dx. This ROM is awesome. No hangs, reboots, or general bugs. I've had the camera crash when I locked the screen with it running, but it immediately started back up. Could never have done that without a reboot on other ROMs.
