As the topic says, the twitter app doesn't want to sync with my contacts. It flashes a red warning too fast to read then does nothing. Running stock/unrooted FRF91.
Any ideas?

Nevermind, I just had to clear the app data and try again.

Anyone run across this or should my friend try to get a replacement ?

Never had this problem, but clear the market cache and try again. Sometimes a second GMail account somehow 'activates' the market.
Got it fixed. Went into fastboot and reset device

My bionic will not sync with the facebook app and give my contacts pictures. Does anyone have a possible solution? Other then that, great phone so far!

SyncMyPix. Free on the market.
Awesome thanks. Any idea why fb won't connect with contacts on its own?

The newest FB update has been getting pretty terrible responses from users on many different models of phone. Perhaps its broken in the app and will get debugged in the next update. Anybody else know anything?

Use the Facebook Account in Blur. It added all my pics/contacts after I signed in to it.

Thats odd...cause on my phone it shows that all my contacts that are linked to facebook have their pictures automatically linked to their contact info. I didn't do anything special.

My Facebook contact pictures weren't syncing or would only sync some pictures. To fix this i went to Settings > Battery & data manager > Data delivery > social applications > and check "Sync over Wi-Fi only" then connect to WiFi and your contacts should re-sync.
Is there an option anywhere to select which contacts to sync if you only use Blur's FB interface?
All my contacts and pics are linked with facebook fine, just like my last phone

How? I can't find the version where it gives me the option to sync

How do I get Facebook contacts to sync with my existing contacts though so I don't have seperate contacts from Facebook and existing

Use Friendcaster.
1) It's better, and more stable than the official FB app.
2) It sync pics just fine.
My 2 cents...
Free or paid version?

Up to you man, I use the paid. To be honest, I'm not sure of the differences between the two. I just know I used the free one (loved it) and instantly supported the developer. However, it's not a one-man show anymore, as it was bought by OneLouderApps (TweetCaster) - I personally think it's more stable now...
Totally love friendcaster one thing though it synced my Facebook contacts to my phone contacts but it doesn't link them, so I have a contact for john doe and under it is my Facebook contact for the same john doe?

It's not perfect on the sync, but it's passable. I have about 100 contacts, and it misses about 10 of them - usually due to their FB name not matching how I have them stored. Takes me a few mins, but I just manually join them.

How do you manually join them?

Could I get a favor, and have someone post the stock facebook app? Somewhere along the line lost it and can't find it anywhere...the other facebook apps don't allow me to sync contacts.
Thanks.
Yes I need this too

If all that you are concerned about are the contact sync I believe the free version of Friendcaster will do it.

Market version won't do this?
I have tried market version, friendcaster ....none of them give me the option if syncing contacts....I confused...

Syncing facebook contacts is blocked by an app or something moto put in the phone. The only way to sync them is to use moto's version and accept their ridiculous terms and conditions. I think droidth3ory said he was working on a fix.
Right, could anyone post the moto's version...I've lost mine somewhere between root, debloat and th3ory's rom...thanks.

Why doesn't ghe stock email app delete the actual email? If i delete an email then log onto my computer and check my email its still there! Is there a way to fix this? If it helps its a at& t Yahoo account. Thanks in advance!

I guess no one knows the answer to this?

Its simple. Pick account. Settings. Incoming mail settings. Delete mail on server. That's for pop3 accounts which I assume yours is
Wow your right that was simple.... Thank you!
