Q&A
Question: "I can't see/find/locate files on my SD Card"
Answer: When browsing through the files on your phone, your actual SD Card is a folder named "SDCard-Ext". The folder named SD Card is the "built in" storage on the Bionic. So when looking for say your nandroid backup it will be located in /sdcard-ext/clockworkmod/backup/
NONE OF THE ABOVE IS MY WORK JUST TRYING TO PROVIDE A SINGLE LOCATION WITH LINKS FOR NEW BIONICS TRYING TO FIND THEIR WAY. OF COURSE EVERYTHING YOU DO IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I know this is an old topic, but if your still wonderong, theres a way to turn your webtop into a linx looking computer, which would allow it to have its own memory partiotion on your sd card, and "insall" apps (it says ypu can have access to some linux applications, but i have not texted this) if you are interested, try searching "Webtop2SD"

I pulled the UserDictionary.apk and installed that, but it cause FC's when opening the keyboard. There might be an issue with dependencies on other libs I didn't transfer, but it's not my area of expertise, so I'll let someone who knows take care of it.
had to flash twice, but it works for me! I can't wait for more 2.3 goodies to get baked into roms
man ive been loving this keyboard! thanks so much for the port already!
Didn't work for me on assonance
the auto correct only works after you go into settings and select a language/region
i think...
Worked for me just fine. Also i am not sure if it is just my imagination but even though the keys seem smaller they seem to be a little more leinent with my fat fingers and making mistakes. Autocorrect doesnt work but it looks great!

Hi all,
I've patched MediaScanner and services.jar in Gingerbread to support mounting Internal Storage.
This will allow apps to utilize Internal Storage including Music apps and any other apps which use the MediaScanner database.
What this doesn't fix is mounting Internal Storage over USB (I couldn't get anything mounted over USB on any ROM's I've tried.. in the hour I spent playing with it).
Anyway, here is the fix. It's a flashable zip. Remember to backup before trying this.

You need to let it finish scanning your media. The MediaProvider database gets wiped out after it gets replaced so it can take around 15 minutes or so to scan the entire device depending on how much media is on the system. This fix scans music, images, and everything else MediaProvider supports.

Any input?
In the event I want to do a system restore, I would, at this point, need to push back the APKs back to their applicable place.
Where exactly would that be?
Would the command just be adb push or adb copy blah.apk /path/to?
I'd like to have this as a thread for those looking for the same info, at least until an SBF is released.

Titanium Backup can't restore applications that don't contain a classes.dex, which is most of the /system/app/ folder. That's why I recommend my bloat removal script instead.
Wonderful... And I uninstalled it after I backed it up.

It's because it needs to be installed in /system/app
Try doing this
Instructions:
*You can try to install this .apk over top of your current market, but it may not work. If it won’t, then you will need to be rooted and follow the instructions below.
1. Download the file from above (Market-3.4.4.apk) to your SD card.
2. In Root Explorer, find the file you just downloaded and copy it.
3. Move into /system/app and hit the R/W button to mount – then paste the file.
4. Find Vending.apk and rename it to something like Vending.apk1.
5. Long press on Market-3.4.4.apk and rename it to Vending.apk.
6. Afterwards, long press on it again and choose “Permissions.”
7. Change the permissions to this:

I did the same. Then out of exasperation, within root explorer, I ran the APK, was prompted to overwrite my other system app, and I did it. I assume the fixed permissions had something to do with it, but it worked for me.

Fix permissions, reboot. Still not working ? Must be kernel problem, not sure. Works for 90% of the people flawlessly.
Problems related to buying apps could be (not asserting) server side problems which many faced during sale.
