Jumped or fell?
I love Parkour. David Belle was amazing when he got the ball rolling but there have been better since. Some of the groups like Team Evolution and 3RUN have made some decent quality videos which are worth watching out for.
From the film District 13:
Would i have done this as a kid? Damn right i would! Would i do it now? Only by accident!

Join a gymnastics/trampolining/martial arts class and spend some time in the gym. Not only for Parkour/Free-Running but for the discipline and self confidence.
iirc didn't we see you on video on a trampoline?
Man after my own heart. I competed for seven years having started out in gymnastics and swimming. Spent lots of time in the gym since those days, but only got back on a trampoline for the first time this year, after a 20 year break!
Of course, trampolining put me, my brother and my best friend in hospital at different times. A good friend too, a girl in my club, broke her neck and spent 6 months in a cage that was bolted to her spine and skull. Basically, understand the risks!

Never too late to start. Don't expect to be competing but do it for the strength and discipline. Combine it with a martial arts class too.
Go for it!

It's never late to start almost anything but as stated above, from one point and after you wont be able to reach high levels of competitiveness. It's mostly about the fun of it, the thrill and the experience.
I used to do boxing and wrestling and we had plenty of new students for martial arts at ages even way above 18 with almost none fitness backround. Ofc they propably wont reach some certain levels of expertise but they were having the same experience not the less

Watch these short clips. Twice my age, four times yours and could probably kick both our arses at the same time, with one hand tied behind their backs!

Weird attractions anyone?

For some weird reason Chernobyl district is attracting me like a magnet. It even came to my dreams several times!
I was growing up in Ukraine, about 65 miles away from the Chernobyl. My mom once told me that teachers forced them to go wash radioactive trains from Chernobyl, if they refused - their exam scores would be Fails. I was reading something last night, and found some interesting info, which would be very educative for all of you:

I believe that she have done great job! She rode her bike all over that place, and it was done years before the "gates of Chernobyl" were finally open!

Most of my ex girlfriends to be honest!
I think that is a common attraction.
I really want to go to Pripyat. My life wont be complete without going there.
BTW, I was born in Poland, but I'm stuck in the States so Pripyat is pretty far.
(For anyone thinking what Pripyat is, it's the city where all the workers of Chernobyl worked, and the nearest city to Chernobyl, google it)
Another thing I want to see which is closer from home is the Freedom Tunnel. It's a train tunnel in NYC which was closed in the 80s and was home to bums and graffiti artists.
It is a remarkable story. Not so much that there was a nuclear accident, although that is remarkable in itself, but the stories of the people involved in the aftermath and the survivors who lived through a nightmare.
Pripyat would be a unique place to visit

I've got a mate that went to Auschwitz and it was seriously about 2 years before he stopped talking about it. EVERY time I saw him the conversation would end up there.
It obviously had a MASSIVE impact on him.

Aaaa, yes, Auschwitz, I should go there, being that I am from Poland, and the camp was IN Poland. lol. Now it's made into a museum, so its not THAT bad...unless you mean your mate was there during WWII.

New Years Resolutions.

So is anyone going to make any changes for 2012?
I know my goal is to stop eating so much crap, cut down on cigarettes, start hitting the gym and getting into good shape and start some kind of Martial Arts, Kickboxing or somthing at some point

enjoy my life, get a girl, get a new guitar and an amp
mine is just to keep doing what I've done these last few months and that was diet & exercise. Down 25lbs and 2 pants sizes and bulked up nicely. Nothing fancy just hard work and proper food. I was never really "obese" but 5'10" and 220lbs wasn't healthy. I'm now 195lbs shooting for 180/185.

My sons Karate instructor told him DO NOT set a New Years resolution because "the new year is only new until January 2nd and thats how long new years resolutions usually last." He then told him to set goals and tell everyone what they are so he can be held accountable.
I was going to set a goal to be less apathetic, but I don't feel like it anymore

The current count is 14 dead, 50 injured. It is all over the news right now.
That's very sad. I am baffled that WB would cancel the Paris premier tonight though, do they know something they aren't telling us?
Also, who the hell brings their 3 month old to see a movie like this!?
.....and another one who wakes up and hates the world he's living in. I hope that the families & friends of the victims will find the strength to fight the pain & the peace they need now.

One of the women who was killed, Jessica Ghawi, was almost in the middle of a shooting last month in a mall food court. To paraphrase, she said she got a funny feeling and left minutes before the shooting began.

Very close to where I live there was a shooting in a bar recently in the college town, Tuscaloosa.

"National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, which is observed annually on December 7, is to remember and honor all those who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. On August 23, 1994, United States Congress, by Pub.L. 103-308, designated December 7 of each year as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is also referred to as Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day or Pearl Harbor Day. It is a tradition to fly the Flag of the United States at half-staff until sunset in honor of dead patriots."
