I saw several movies there. Didn't bother downloading any since
my sd doesn't have much room. Two I can remember off the top of my head are Avatar and Rio.

So, go to your gallery
Choose the video you want to watch
(while video is playing) push the "3D" button
Push the dedicated "menu button" on your phone, when held up right its the far left button along the bottom, it has a picture of a small box in the upper left had corner of a larger box, its next to your home button, the home button looks like a house.
still photos you choose "more" than "3D Formatter" I'm not sure Movies are the same, I think when you push menu one of the onscreen options will immidiately be "3D Format" there will be 4 options. LR Side by Side/RL Side by Side/top bottom/ and original format. Choose one of the side by side options till it looks good.
This is for the LG Thrill Correct? There is no dedicated 3D button on the bottom left, there's only a 3D bottom on the right, when i click it, just brings me to the 3D menu which consists of Games/Apps Page, Camera etc.

When playing the video, click the 3D button so that it looks in 3D. Then hit the phone "Menu" button to bring up the option to change 3D formatting. Click that and then click the L/R option on the far left. Good to go.

Now your just messing with us.
You only have to hit the 3d button if you are currently watching the video
Otherwise just open the gallery and long press each video and change to 3d
At least that is how I recall fixing them

What I'm about to say is going to stir up a bit of controversy, but Android lacks any sort of good music app. Someone should try to replicate the iPhones Music player UI as best as possible.
man i tried so many times but no developers wanna go that route of duplicating..
so i tried something way different then hero..g1...iphone..
i havent seen one like this..
even if i can trade services/applications (mobile or computer) or something to get atleast a music app for me created lol.. that would be sweet!!!

Then may I suggest that you have bigger buttons. Remember most android phones are 3.2" screens. Simple, discreet, seperate buttons on the bottom.
One app will pwn them all. Tunewiki. 'Nuff said.

Well i dont own a G1 anymore..i now have a cliq
On my old G1 i never got to use earphones because it didnt support the 3.5mm....on the cliq it does! I love it buttt one huge thing is the quality of the sound. I have Bose earphones...they sound really great on my iPod and other MP3's but not on the cliq. The EQ is really nasty..so aanyways my questions are
Is this only on the cliq?
Is it possible to change the EQ at all?
Can someone please make an APP with this feature?
If this CANT be done, then why not?

While your proposed layout looks great, that text is so small that there is not even any point of putting the info on there.
Basically you can get 8 lines of usable text with enough buffer around the words to act as buttons.
In your track list pic you are running 14 lines.
That's like a 10 point font change. And I think the phone's default is like 8 point font.
A lot of the functions you are showing are similar to Tunewiki.
And Tune wiki comes with last.fm built in. Has a built in widget. Not to mention the ability to interface with Flyscreen.
What would your player bring to the table that is new or different other than the basic look?

I've been saying this from day one. Say what you will about apple or whatever. but they got their iphone/itouch music UI right.

the buttons are actually big size of a 2x2 2x3 widget... they can very!
and as far as the text its just an idea not really much one needed just a feature of marquee type scrollin...

i dont know how to do the update.. but if everything goes down smooth and i can get this up and goin..
1. IT WILL HAVE A LONG PRESS MENU.. most MENU settings will be similar to original music player..
2. it will be a app in the market...and a .apk to install in here...and if anyone knows or needs it in a .update i guess i can find someone to sign it in there and ill load it..

yeah i worte my player with the intention of making it capable of doing that, as well as adding songs to the current playlist. it makes the initial writing a bit more complex but real pays off
Off topic slightly, but yes there is an equaliser it is VERY VERY good and really works.
I have some great headphones but always thought the sound from my Hero was lacking in treble.
You can even change the volume level for each channel separately.
Anyway screen shots attached, but wait for it....... it's £18!!!

Weird question: I want to hide certain adult films downloaded to my phone from my wife (and kids should they pick up my phone) but so far no matter where I save the files, my gallery detects it and displays it. Any suggestions (other than not keeping porn on my my phone)?

Certain apps like Quickpic have hide/unhide functions (with passwords) to put a nomedia tag in the folder of your private media so it is not seen by other apps. Or you can just go and search for an app that hides files like Keep Safe. it just adds an extra extension of their own so you cannot see or read them unless you are viewing the media in their app.
put a file in the folder named .NOMEDIA. make sure there is no file extension at the end like .txt, .rtm, etc.
You can make the file with any text editor.
I also attached a copy of that file, just extract it from the attached rar.

Never know who will be going through your phone, always better to be safe than sorry. People often look at my pictures of my kids so I try to keep the inappropriate ones out of sight.

When you say texts, do you mean text messages or text files. Because I can't remember my kids social security numbers but don't want them to be accessible to any thief who might steal my phone. Will this app work for that?

Same site I have been downloading the trailers from. The only thing is that they are only 180 degree and have to be viewed using the Milk section.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but when the video is playing there are two screens top and bottom instead of only one wide.
What do you think?

Make a folder named VoltVR in the root directory of your phone not your sd card and put the videos in there and put _3dv before .mp4 in the file name of the video and it should work now and be 3d.

It'll be in milk but milk is better since it's more like a traditional video player. There isn't any torrents last I checked for the gear vr just the oculus which when I tried it wasn't the right ratio or something because it scrunched everything. I'll try to put it up if I can later. You can get a 2 week pass for like 5 bucks that's what I did. First time I payed for porn probably lol.

Thanks man, I am testing and downloading some videos from YouTube.
I have followed your instructions on adding the VoltVR folder and adding the "_3dv" with great results. One thing though is that I would rather have the file stored on the sd card; is there any way to have Milk feeding off of the sd card instead of the phone?
It would great if you can put the "p-videos" you have up so we can experiment. I'll send you a couple of bucks to help out with the cost if you have a PayPal account.

I found a good full adult movie that I'm uploading to my cloud and will share once complete.

The only thing with this one is that you have to add the "_3dh" instead of the "_3dv" before the ".mp4".
Did anyone download the movie listed above? The ratio is not right, it is just ok. Let me know if there if anything there is anything we can do to fix the file.

Sorry man works been keeping me busy. Um yeah I had the same problem with those torrents.. Those were made for the oculus so that's why the image gets scrunched like that. Maybe there's a way to fix that by changing the resolution for it but I'm not sure. Did you still want me to used a video? I can probably upload one to my Dropbox or something if yoj want to try it.

Use the FolderMount app to trick your phone into using the external card.
Y Did anyone get the adult content videos yet?
I have never paid for porn before nor wanted my credit card linked to any adult site but I think this completes the VR experience.
It is great not necessarily in a perverted way but more at an experimental level and fun. they did a great job on the video quality as they look 2 times better than the blurry ones from the 360 video library.
I have a couple of good videos are ready and I will be downloading and uploading more to my cloud storage. If you are interested shoot me a PM and I have no problem sharing what I have.
Don't forget to add the "_3dv" before the .mp4

There's an online conversion tool that works really well. I mean quality wise it's never going to be the best, but it does make the quality somewhat better & will convert it to a better format for you. Let me see if I can find it...

It was zamzar.com ...I had a bunch of videos of my oldest son from when he was a baby that were in .3gp format and they wouldn't play sound. I was terrified that they would be corrupted forever but I was able to convert them to mp4 & avi (it does give you a ton of choices) so I have double backups and the sound is fine now. I'd check it out, it's a great tool!
