[Q] re x-loud and bravia solved - XPERIA X8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi i flashed bravia all was good then i flased x-loud which worked but removed bravia. So i re flashed bravia but it has now remover x-loud it seems i can only get 1 or the other
can any one help as i would like both on my x8
I'm using gdx v14 with hot fix no o/c.
I have done a full wipe and re flashed both but still the same thing 1 or the other
if you help i will hit the thanks button

you can put this in to your phone go to root explorer and go to
system/build prop.
long press build prop select open in text editor and type this at the bottom of the page

more important how you going to flash any update the next gdx or any other rom no x recovery or clockworkmod = no new custom rom
dont wont to up set you but bravia and xloud is least of your problems

I tried using the Bravia to my GingerDX V015 and after flashing my rom returned to V014.
Is there an update both x-loud and bravia for GDX v015?

Its because budild.prop from that zip file is for 014. You can download that flash zip open build.prop and copy those 4 lines .Then copy those files to folders they belong and it should work.

No Need Wipe data and cache
No Need Wipe cache partition
Select reboot system now !!!

xLoud have own builed.prop file. may your phone go to bootloop ... but you can do it with this way
copy your rom build.prop file now use. edit this file with notepad++ and add this lines end of the file:

Thats strange, xLoud really didnt work on Mebiteks CM7.2 RC0. I checked the current build.prop and xlouds build.prop, all the lines that are suppose to be added on the existing build.prop is not applied though I successfully flashed the xloud.zip using CWM 5.2.0.8 , everything inside the xloud.zip is no where to be found on the system.
Also found this line on xlouds build.prop

Too lazy manually pushing all prop values and system files. Might aswell flash back to Nightly 5 or if squadzone released update to RC5.5 rom.

bravia does not work.see no change.
dont trust me? try it yourself.
after i see no change, i reseach many toppics on xda and ask some developers. all of them said that its not work anyway.only work in sony phone.it need more than some .so files and build-prop change.its just a lie

[Q] Can Ckknot SRS Trumedia & MixeDDSP for x8 also works on w8?

Greeting to all great dev in X8/W8 section .
I am having trouble flashing Ckknot SRS Trumedia & MixeDDSP on my w8, i also read some post that indicate after flashing Ckknot SRS Trumedia & MixeDDSP i will have a several lib in my /system/lib/soundfx but there is only default lib present .
I am also know this mod is created for X8 but in XPERIA X8 Android Development there are many mod that works with w8 also.
I am sorry if my thread evoke any feeling among XDA , Thanks in advance~

The mods do not work on ICS, so do not flash them on an ICS rom.
Yes it can, afaik all mods for X8 can work on W8 as both are the same in terms of hardware (except that W8 has better speakers I think).
Have you tried copying the libs and stuff over manually and setting permissions for them? Try reflashing them in CWM recovery first and post your error message here.
Provide the ROM and kernel you are using please.
Last point: The SRS libs may have replaced some libs, in this case could you verify if some libs have been replaced?

Are you sure that it does not copied to your soundfx folder? There are some user reported that it does not work where it meant to be. Just to be sure, SRS install these lib in soundfx:
libaudiopreprocessing.so

libsrsfx.so
libvisualizer.so

I flashed your works several time before on gingerdx v25 and its works flawlessly , but, in my current ROM (gingerdx v27) its doesn't appear , maybe i will take spyderX suggestion and try to work it out somehow.

X8 and W8 are the same, only X8 has sign XPERIA and W8 has Walkman...

Op i cannot overclock cpu or gpu it reverts due to thermal protections so is there any way to remove thermal protection

Stok rom or kitkat rom???
u can try it on any rom from 2.3+,, bootloop iss impossible .if its working, screen ll has higher contrast and brightness. everything is more detail.

INSTRUCTIONS
Please read it carefully
Download The ROM Zip and Fix_DPI for ZR.zip (link attacted below) And Move To Phone
Enter Recovery
Flash ROM Zip
Carefully Follow Aroma Installation
Do Not Select Dolby Digital Mod ( Bootloop )
After Complete, reboot phone into rom (please wait for 15 minutes) Done!
Reboot to recovery and flash Fix_DPI for ZR zip to fix DPI and correct phone info
Reboot and done!

I didn't come across Dolby Digital Mod but my phone went into bootloop.I am forced to install stock.Please guide me accordingly.

I'm not sure what you experienced but this ROM takes a long time to boot from flash.. Up to 10 mins so patience and a cup of coffee is needed

goto recovery and wipe system and data, cache and dalvik cache before flash rom
in aroma installer rom select C6603 device

hey i did the same ..first i wiped system and data , cache , dalvik cache ........and then flashed the rom (i selected c6603 device in aroma installer) followed by fix dpi .zip ...then i rebooted my phone but its stuck on boot animation . i waited for approx 30 mins( obvious, more then it, i think) but the phone not booted fully. after that removed battery and tried 3 times the results are same .....
what i am doing wrong in installing the .zip??

Try flash rom and dont select install sound mode, xposed.
After flash rom done, reboot into rom.
After that goto recovery and flash fix dpi zip
