How do I know what verison is my Diamond ?

Well, I just got a new Diamond and wanted to find out what is the ROM version, etc. And is there a standard version that everyone use ? What is the best version to flash into and what difference does it make compare to stock ?

Settings->System->Device Information for info on your ROM etc, for the others... try the search button

I looked in there and got this:
CE OS 5.2.19591 (Build 19591.1.1.6)
Thats not the Rom version is it ?

as Dan168 rightly said Settings->System->Device.
when you go there how many tabs on the bottom of the screen do you have
and can see one that says version ?

Xperia bricked?

Hi guys,
I think my phone is bricked or something, when i woke up this morning my xperia was acting a bit strange, couldn't find some .exe files for like youtube and contacts. So i rebooted my phone. now all i get while booting is the little xperia intro and then it's frozen.. unlucky i can't post a picture to show you..
i was running the latest rom of christian's roms: version 3.511 build 28002
What i did try was to boot my device in the 4 coloured bars and run Hard SPL on it, this didn't work out either:

Well thank god thare is another way for putting OS on X1, than with this utility. With this program you must have working ROM, to put another ROM on it. But with the second method, instaling ROM from MicroSD, all you need is working HardSPL Bios. Try this method.
If this was the only method, thany we would have a lot of briched Xperias here, couse from time to time OS can die. Bios is a safeguard. But if Bios is broken...

TouchPro2 Stuck on Boot

I have a HTC touch pro 2 from t-mobile in the USA
and i've flashed it with a rom and it work perfectly fine
one time i turned off the device and when it turned back on i got this screen

then if you wait i got this screen
i won't boot up no matter what
i can't reflash it because i can't sync it to the computer
and i've tried hard and soft reset and it just goes back to the same screen

Can you get into Bootloader?
Do you have HardSPL?
If you have HardSPL, re-flash from Storage Device.

Yes i have Hardspl but how do you get into the bootloader?

Hold VOL DOWN when you turn it on.
Make sure the ROM is named RHODIMG.NBH

:O it worked!!! but i still don't have the official HTC TP2 t-mobileUSA rom is it on this forum anywhere? i tried searching but only custom cooked roms came up

Not sure. Try flashing any rom just to get it going then use the official tool from the HTC site... might be best.

You can flash via USB from bootloader ofcourse too .

and I'm looking to install the most latest, stable, light weight rom which do you recommened? I was hoping cyanogen mod but is it latest android?
P.S It's my mums phone I cant afford to screw it up!

If only that were true - I got a Nexus 5X earlier today, which was totally unexpected (I had a faulty G2 which I sent off to repair, the shop lost it and gave me a store credit to replace it) and I don't yet have a USB A-C cable, so I can't!
That's definitely a first world problem but I've never owned any Android device, let alone a Nexus which wasn't rooted/running a custom ROM by the end of the first day I owned it :crying:

Wow, well i have rootophobia, or maybe are brickphobia.

I've got a binary disorder, Rootophobia. Causes massive RAM consumption and migraines.

And here I thought rooting was instinctual.
