Hello guys.
I'm using GB and I removed "Battery full pop-up message" with Stikkontakt's tip at Modaco.
And I changed the carrier name on andy-lockscreen.
But I couldn't change the carrier name in the notification . Only It's not the same as froyo.
Does anyone know how to do this?
It's solved. thanks.

okay...so I know I may not get any replies for this, but this has been a haven for people asking for help...so here goes...
I have a telus milestone...I've been able to change the clock and date text in the notification bar (i applied my own black bar mod through metamorph)
the only problem is that all my notifications are still black when they pop up in the bar...
I've tried this tutorial:
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/27622-text-color-change-complete-how-do.html#post279084
nothing
and this one:
http://androidforums.com/all-things...n-clock-pull-down-text-colors.html#post395945
both referring to the colorchange jar that someone wrote here...
but neither has worked..
i know that 'spare parts' in the CM apparently does this...but since i have the telus milestone, i can't install CM...
is there ANY simple way of doing this? is there a metamorph?
thanks to anyone willing to help out...

Try copying the spare parts.apk to your rom of choice , sign it, and flash it. its a guess at ti bro hope u get it figured out.
i was wondering on if/how i could change a few settings perhaps by tweaking some databases. i want to remove the ringtone fade-in, and perhaps change a few color schemes. also, with the install "stock lockscreen" as an option, could i modify this file to create my own lockscreen without the problems of 3rd party lockscreen apps have? i've also done some searching but i guess it doesn't exist, but i'll ask anyway, is there hupsa or screen notifications for froyo? thanks for whomevers time.
Hellou
I wanted to change a default contact icon to a 'droid.

Hi guys. I just installed a new SIM and have this cosmetic issue. I want to hide/remove these numbers (which are the mobile network code) and just keep the name (Virgin).
The numbers appear in the lockscreen and statusbar.
I attached a screenshot of my lockscreen.
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance!

emanoN v3. I did some research and sorted it out. My friend (which has the same carrier and newer OS) handled me some files (optable.db, apns-conf.xml and spn-conf.xml). Copied them into my phone and that did the trick!
