I wanna try the Fd xperience V1.1.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089690 rom, but when I was trying to download it from mediafire, it shows a error : An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. This normally results if the peer application on the remote host is suddenly stopped, the host is rebooted, or the remote host used a 'hard close'.
I'm using internet download manager as well. I wonder any of you facing this problem too??
Yap, same there. Cant download from mediafire.
Looks like multiupload is best option there
FD Experience ver 1.2 bugs?
Hi
I ported version 1.2 of FD experience last day. I love the ROM.. its so cool and it has the looks of an X10 or other xperias.
now the bugs or mistakes I've noticed so far.
1. No Digital clock widget
2. Picture frame says there's not enough room?????
3. Contact editor do not sync your contacts with their facebook profiles. In fact none of the ROMS did that before. so in the Infinite view, some contacts have the image as it is expected, but for some other, the picture is small and aligned to left and fills only the half of the window.
Why the facebook integration fails? it would be cool to see our friends's profile pic becomes the pic in contact editor.even the SE stock ROM could do this..I hope the developer fix this in the next issue.
If you've installed FD experience, share your experience with it.
My internet connection was slow, i will edit and upload fde v 2.4.3 later~

Hi ,
Im using miui rom for about one month , but i have some prolems except that are in rom topic
first , in messaging and dialler contacts name are not recognized and their number is shown , however they are in my contacts
2nd , In alpha version when we conect a usb cuble it automatically ask for charge mode or storage mode and there was no need of any application , why in other versions this was reoved and should use a usb mass storage toggle ?
3rd when listening to music after that the screen will turn off , It doesnt turn on again And Should remove battery and turn it on again ?
And In version Beta 2 this apps dont work and give force close :
Phone ( Dialer) , Messaging
and gallery cant find any media and music cant find any music while In other versions I didnt have Similar Problem
I have to go to version Beta1
Check this out
Edit: The pertinent point I made in the link reads:
Well, our devices have minor variations. Beta versions may not take those differences into consideration. That's asides numerous other variables. Heck, release versions at times fail to put the same variables into consideration. Bottom-line? Flash something more stable. Or wait for a stable release. It's worth the wait .
Just to remove all ambiguity.
Name: TrackUrSelf
Having been an avid user of windows phone and a GPS enthusiast, I have always wanted to create an application which use this technology. rather than develop an map application, I decided to use the background agent of windows phone 7 and create an application which tracks your movement. This is very useful for hiking/trekking adventures as well long drives.
This application only tracks the location and displays it on the viewer. The locations are never sent out (other than skydrive backup), so this is not a stalker app
I would welcome your views and feedback on this application.
Changelog:
+ Aerial mode added
+ KML Export/Backup to Skydrive added.
+ Added Live tile with back tile info
+ Background image for the app and skydrive page.. looks better now
+ Fixed a bug, which was not letting you a take a backup without quitting the app.
+ Filename has Date&Time appended, which would enable multiple backups being stored in your skydrive (should have been there in the first place)
+ Fixed crash bug while updating live tile through background services. Forgot about cross access thread exception.
+ Implemented crash log reporter
You would need a developer unlock phone to sideload the application, it does NOT need any interop unlock or full unlock to launch it.

Hi darthveda,
Looks like a nice app, but I wonder how this app will influence your battery life? When hiking you generally do not have wall-plugs at your disposal to charge your battery when needed.
How often does the app store your position?
it's 30 minute interval, pre-defined by WP7. It's a periodic task. I am running it on my system for over 2 weeks now, haven't had major power usage due to this.

The app looks interesting. Is there a way to export the data that is generated?

At this point, NO. The reason is for privacy reasons but will look into implementing this feature in the next update.
As of 1.1, you can now track your position whenever you want apart from 30 minutes interval. And I have made sure not to store the location if it is same as before. Regarding battery usage, I don't have major impact on my battery usage.
Well can store the positions as a log file , and possibly upload the log files , i think it would be incredibly useful to be able to log the coordinates , whether its every 30 minutes or more (less) , just thinking how usefule this info could be!
Ok will implement it, I am not sure if wp7 allows me to write word files if it does then i will write a table in that itself
else a normal csv file would do i guess.
Also, adding the map modes as an option, right now it is street, will enable hybrid, satellite modes as well. This was a suggestion in marketplace reviews
Thanks for the suggestions guys, keep it coming
i used this app yesterday on a small scale , just a few miles and I have to say I like i will continue to test it as this is a unique kind of app!
Thanks Vintage144.. am waiting for MS to approve the app update, don't know why they take so long to do that. After that I will work on 1.2 with the new features requested.
Hi Guys, For Spain winning the euro 2012 , here is my treat.
I have updated the app to 1.2 with the following features:
1. You can now change the map view to Aerial mode and revert back
2. You can now update the tracked locations to a KML file and store it in your skydrive.
Please check and let me know if anything didn't work or you have any suggestions to be made
Size of 1.2 XAP is 0kb upon download mate, might need to re-upload for us? :good:
Size of 1.2 XAP is only 0kb
I downloaded the 1.2 version and it was 550kb, i have re-uploaded the version again with the suffix new in it. Let me know if you still have the problem, will upload on skydrive and share link.
very good....

Works for me. Thankyou
Few days back, I started learning about shelltiles and have implemented a live tile update with a back tile info as well.. (yeah, that's how i learnt WP7 programming, through my apps )
Can you guys tell me if it sounds a good idea and looks good?
Fixed a critical crash bug while updating the tile through background service, forgot about invalid cross acces exception. Because of the crash WP7 was disabling the background agent. Nice feature by the phone took me a while to recognize why it was behaving the way...
Please install the fixed XAP version.
It's jelly time. Made by a TPT user for TPT users.
Notice
Developed on a WE/16Gb 3G TPT. US, UK and ROW Tablets (any size) are confirmed to work, too
Density set to 160 dpi to keep market compatibility. Don't like to do this but the market problems are just annoying. Change it with a appropriate app if you don't like it (btw. our native density is approximate 150 dpi).
Flash on your own risk! Might turn your TPT into a expensive chopping board.
Requirements
This build uses the Lenovo ICS kernel, you need to upgrade to stock ICS first (Make sure you keep root!)
A ICS ClockworkMod version like this one.
Screenshots
here (Thanks obscure.detour)
Installation
Download ROM zipfile (and 3G patch if you want to) and put it on a sd-card
Boot into CWM (Reboot and press Vol+)
Make a nandroid backup in CWM!
Make sure the backup worked!
Full Wipe (May not be needed if you come from an earlier CM10 version)
Flash zip in CWM
Optional: Flash 3G patch in CWM
reboot
Restore Stock ICS
Boot into CWM (Reboot and press Vol+)
Restore old nandroid backup
Additional Steps
If you have problems with random reboots or sleep of death try to change wifi to "always on". You can find it in: settings->wifi->"click the 3 dots in the upper right"->advanced->keep wifi on during sleep
If you want to use NotesMobile you want to look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34649207#post34649207
If you have problems with wiping (just doesn't work) and want to reformat the data partition, use this zip in CWM: http://ubuntuone.com/4zKT1jqeqhR8qdGh2y4TaM (WARNING: THIS WILL REFORMAT DATA, THAT INCLUDES YOUR INTERNAL SDCARD!)

Not Working
Nothing here anymore. Everything is working somehow but some parts still contain bugs (see buglist)
Known Bugs
Google maps crashes sometimes
3G issues:
- On some devices the carrier is not shown and 3G needs more time to connect
Wifi tethering not working
Stylus only mod not changeable in lockscreen
Some other bugs that occur only on few devices
Things maybe added in future releases
A density of 150dpi (a soon as i find a good hacked market or something else)
Getting everything to work and stable

Amazing! I cannot thank you enough for your continued work Koshu.
Doing a nandroid and testing now. No reason it should not work on a US-based tablet, correct?
Also, any chance we could get an MD5 checksum? Sorry, I'm kind of crazy

Should work. WE, US and UK are pretty much the same devices except the 3G card. I'm just curious if this ROM works also on ROW.
Will test in the morning long day of college and work, need to sober up before I tackle this. Thanks for the Jelly Bean up date.
This ROM is running amazingly well. Everything I do, it does it fast and smoothly. Project Butter truly stands out here. Never has this tablet felt so buttery smooth.
I even installed Major Mayhem to try a game out and I feel like it ran better than the official ICS build (OTA3).
Google Now works. USB drive and mouse worked fine. Pen works fine in Lecture Notes and Quill. The pen button does not work in Quill though, pretty sure it has something to do with the way Quill detects the active pen. Sound works, video works as long as it is SD.
Other than that I'll leave you all with these screenshots.
Great job Koshu and thank you!

You have a ROW tablet? Please let me know if this works and if it doesn't (i assume it won't even boot in this case) send me a copy of your boot.img. As i didn't need to modify the kernel itself (compared to ICS with the HC kernel) we could just try to switch the kernels and see what happens.

Absolutely, feel free to share the pics. It is running super smooth I am absolutely loving it so far. Now I've got JB CM10 on both of my devices!
Also, I have noticed Chrome runs really great. About a thousand times better than ICS (OTA3). Gets a little slow sometimes with 15-20+ tabs but that is to be expected with our aged hardware.
Another note: I use CSipSimple, it allows me to use SIP in combination with a PBX server (Pbxes.org) for WiFi calling on my phone. I have never been able to get it to work with any Lenovo ROMs. Well it works on this ROM! I can now make/receive calls with my tablet using WiFi. I know many don't know or even care what this is, but just wanted to share my excitement.
Working well here too. Although I get cell phone indicator in my tray

Yeah I forgot to mention that. You need to enable Airplane mode and then enable WiFi. Although, because I use it on my phone as well, I've been using an app called AutoAP. It automatically enables airplane mode when using a saved WiFi network. For some reason it says it isn't compatible with our tablet in the Play Store. It is literally the only app I could find that wasn't "compatible". It works fine if you sideload it. Download here.
Since this and the few other issues being the GPS(it never worked anyway), HW acceleration for HD playback, and the light sensor I haven't found any reason for it to not be my daily driver.
Cheers.
Omg wow! I need to dig out my TPT!!
US 32GB TPT and loving Jelly Bean can't wait to see were this goes from here. Thanks for all the hard work with JB and CWM.

Awesome! HQ video decoding and recording! You are truly a gentleman. Cannot wait to try it out. When my school expenses subsides I'll be donating to you.
Also, you may link directly to the images using the imgur link if you want instead of linking to my post. http://imgur.com/a/r0Iq2 I could also embed them in the 2nd post if you would like.
EDIT: Build v0.2 seems to be fine. HQ videos do indeed work in YouTube. I was even able to get a 720p (mkv) encoded video streaming over WiFi. Works flawlessly (24fps).
Koshu, is there a foreseeable future for 3G in your CM10 builds for TPT?
I'm just curious if it's a hurdle you have hopes in clearing. I'm running a GOBI3000 and paying for a data plan that I'm trying to get the most out of.
BTW, I've got my TPT heading back for service and I'm crossing my fingers for an OTA 2.5 system upon return. Get my root back...

I think i try fixing 3G next as the other parts are more or less minor problems (gps more, lightsensor less). But i don't have a gobi card but an ericsson, so i will start with the ericsson card to get a grip on this and after the ericsson card is working we could give gobi gobi a try. But this includes a lot of testing and i will need someone with a gobi device to help me out.

Update location in Google still does not work
i guess we should wait couple of days before showing up in the market.
I have a couple of things to report:
Heavy pages most of the time gives an out of memory message then the browser close,ie9 works fine
The browser won't remember any of the history...
Version is 2.4 and device is lumia800.
This release is 2.5 Dum3! Update it and it might resolve your issues.
Sent from my HD7 using Board Express
I know it is 2.5,but it is not yet available in the market...Will surely update when it will be
Thunder mode stopped working a while ago. App is practically useless without this functionality as UC's main draw is reduced data usage. Kudos to the UC team for effort expended but u really need to urgently address this long outstanding glitch
Still not in the market...

Tried 2.5 but it still says location unavailable when I log into Google
Also the browser needs an exit option as you have to keep backing all the way before it says do you want to exit

Hi
I don't know if these are posted already or a known issue, but i get this kind of behavior on latest (2013-08-21) CM10.2
h t t p : / / w w w . youtube.com/watch?v=F2PrNTXL8_Q
I get these with Email client (not gmail, but built-in mail client) and like the video shows with CWM. It does not seem to appear on CWM if the shown ad is static image, but if it's animated the screen goes black when animation plays.
Behavior with email client is flickering and partially black screen (email control button rows and header row) Mail content is shown ok as is the inbox mail list.
I can take video from the mail client as well, if u need them. If logs are needed i need instructions how to get them.
Thanks

Hi,
This is my first post, so I hope I don't mislead you.
I am getting the exact same issue when ads are playing. Particularly in 'Reddit news free'... perhaps I will try and pay for the adfree and see if that helps. However, I also get a flickering screen in navigation. I assume it's also due to the animations. This is happening in any rom based on the CM10.2 for me. So latest versions of paranoid android as well as pac man.
From my searching this is a known cyanogen 10.2 bug. Though only ever mentioned as something like "minor graphical issues" in CM documentation, or in the documentation of other CM based mods as "known CM bugs".
It seems to fly under the radar a bit to me as a minor issue... but for me it's pretty frustratingly major. I can only assume that it's because it's based on android 4.3 which is relatively new, and people expect there to be a fix reasonably soon. Can anyone tell me if this is the case? How soon are bugs like this usually ironed out of CM? And when that occurs, how long should I expect this to transfer through to the other ROM's such as PACMAN?
There are millions of posts on the rendering bug. Its in the opening post as a known issue in the cm 10.2 thread in the development thread. Its been known for a long time.....it gets fixed when it gets fixed. Who knows
