Flashed your rom as well. Can only agree with MichaelAlexanderBull, it's snappy and the camera seems to be working as well! If I recall correctly that is something that used to be problem in kyosa's earlier CM6-roms. (Haven't tested the camera on the later ones) The gallery is really smooth, I guess that's JIT working?
Other than the already mentioned notification lights and dhcp I haven't noticed any bugs yet.

As soon as I have time I will post the full project in github in order all of you can compile and run with it. Meanwhile you can try the ROM and suggest because I'm making lots of try/error/log to see if I can finish this work. All suggest and help will be wellcommed

Great news! Now what is the JPEG encoder based on? Can it be ported from 1.6 ROMs?
Also, whats up with the FM radio. CM now supports it. So is Tattoo radio going to be available on Froyo ROMs?

I'm willing to help. Yesterday i have compiled the CM-Sources. Could someone point me to a link or something which describes how to integrate a repository (ivendors git-hub) into the CM source so i can compile a Tattoo-Kernel?

i decided to release this alpha 2 although camera still partially work. for this time being, u can use hdr camera plus (included) to shoot, although the screen is black u can still capture photo.
what working great in this version:
- call & messaging
- data (2g, 3g, 3.5g)
- wifi
- bluetooth
- flashlight led (similar with torch in miui but it has dual torch, one using camera, one using front led screen - to make this work i hijack ledlights.mx.so frm meizu mx rom & change it to ledlights.fb0.so)
this rom come with low sound by default but its not a bug, to change it u need to go to sound setting & increase it. for call volume u need to set it with x5 setting app included in this rom, maximum call volume is 200, but just make it around 170-180. x5 setting also allow u to overclock yr cpu & choose yr governor.
steps for rom installation:
1. do a full wipe

I managed to port this rom to our device & proud to say this is the very 1st time i successfully ported rom frm huawei ideos x5 u8800 WITH RADIO SIGNAL! yes... ril is functioning, this is y i put the dev stage as alpha. Bluetooth also working, i'll fix wifi later.

p/s 2: now i get a problem with my phone, my power button is jammed. if u guys think i need spare hp for my porting works pls donate, bcoz i dont want to port miui & cm roms, i want to bring something different! somemore, we already hv numbers of miui & cm devs here

my power button jammed... anyway to fix it? luckily i still can go to cwm by pressing volume+ & volume-. i try to change all framework & app files with dianxin os for moto defy files, but still no signal, with this changes, transition look smoother.
ohhh... that baseband switcher FC, cannot use

I've been using mokee v0.3 for sometime now and I'm really pleased with it because its FAST (coming from MIUI ). At the same time it saddens me to see lot of people abandoning mokee because it has some glitches. So I made this patch for those who want to make mokee their every day rom and for those who don't want to try it in the first place because of its short comings.
What this patch fixes:
1. headset (both headsets and headphones work)
2. GPS (locks now and fast)
3. haptic feedback for virtualkeys (back, menu...)
4. busybox (there are multiple instances of busybox in /system/xbin and /system/bin/busybox.bin) and fixes symlinks too.
5. low In call volume
6. SoD fix
what you need to flash if you are using mokee for the first time:
1. Mokee v0.3
2. mOCk Kernel
3. this patch.

- From what I know its a .32 kernal....so No New KGSL Drivers for Adreno?
- Any Latest Screenies??
Since I am on RC3 right now...i guess this means using SUT to install Stock CSL ROm or RC2 and then flash Mokee?

FM/HDMI has never worked for any custom rom(not based on stock).
undervolting: mock takes care of
2 way recording: the person on the other side has low volume
battery: awesome (my perception)
front cam:90 degrees flipped preview but shoots right. (do u really use that camera? its the worst. I dont even use it to check my face!!)
kernel:no new drivers. if you have been following the forums regularly you'll know the new kernel has issues and the old one is better for gaming.

I don't know why but heptic feedback (default one) is Ok with me, when I tried your patch face memory issue, sometime it wen to 40 - 45, so I freashly installed and used headset fix patch and GPS lib patch poste by you seperatly... now happy with no low memory issue ... .

I managed to grab the latest version of Andy's Phoenix ROM.
I have modified it to work on both old and new basebands.

Current state of Gingerbread ROM by andy572 (Version 2.3.4 Codename Phoenix)
previous rom for download based on CM7 has been removed, i dont support the latest rom from now.

* kernel: wifi not working, kernel module is broken - fixed
* kernel: kernel doesnt support clear ram feature in settings - fixed
* expanded statusbar bugs fixed
* new lockscreen implemented
* modified gps.conf
* modified apns-conf.xml
* network provider search fixed
* contact import from sim card fixed
* crash in contacts app fixed (app was FC'ing when swipe over the tabs on the top)
Very known bugs:
- If no default ringtone is choosen in settings menu, android choose one for u and change this randomly
- FM Radio and USB-/WiFi theasering not working (maybe with 3rd party apps)
- strong pixelation/color banding issues in wallpapers and picture gallery app
- Airplane-, Vibrate modes and audio volume settings change gets not detected in expanded statusbar view toggles
- rom is only working with old baseband and clockwork mod recovery
INSTALL
1.) Install ClockwordMod Recovery, old AmonRA isnt supported anymore.
2.) Flash the ROM file
3.) If you're coming from any other than THIS rom, YOU NEED TO DO A COMPLETE WIPE before reboot!!!

Under baseband version in settings it says "unknown" I'm using the new baseband version of the rom, with the new baseband.

Actually i have though about continue working on Andy ROM for a few months ago. I have just asked Andy for the source for a few weeks, he said that there are bugs in his source code, have to revert many things to make the ROM works fully. So the source is useless.

Unknown baseband.. no service.. how to rectify this.. can anyone help me

in this thread we should post our bugs from this rom like new baseband problem and another bugs not to argue each other

It won't help him to make the rom better if you say its spam. consider he is at least trying to make something that seemed to be a huge successor rom then andy stopped due to all questions.
and now someone wan's to revive it, but with sources that says to be bad, it will be a play for the rom fixed

Yes 1 year ago andy move to htc device after LG make him disappointed due minimum software support.
I dont know he is move to another device again, maybe he was very busy for his live.
