FYI, pressing the power button first and then home button at the same time will take a screenshot. The screen will flash white and it will save it in a "Captured Images" folder

Hi,
When I try to do a print screen using menu + volume down, the picture that is captured includes the "silence ringtone" window that pops up (relating to the pressing of the volume key). Can the display of volume be switched off?
Also, is there any way to select different key combinations? I am using a soft key for menu (Button Savior), and hitting that with the volume down key is more miss than hit - about 2 in 25 attempts!
BTW, I am using MIUI 1.8.5 ROM.
TIA
Elkay
I even cannot do screen shot by using Menu+Volume- buttons. Actually I want to know if there is a way to define sofkey in Button Savior.

I haven't been able to repeat a capture, but I have 2 screenshots as evidence it is possible.
I haven't found any way of defining a softkey in Button Savior.

This has been annoying me. In some instances, tapping the home screen does not take you to to the home screen. Many times, I have to press the back button and then press the home screen. Is there an app or hack to fix this? I'd like the home button to function like apple's home button (forcing a return to home no matter what).
Maybe an app?

It should. If you press the home button and don't go to the home screen, you may have a hardware problem.
Like the title says my home says I'm pushing it when I'm not its not taking me back to home menu but it seems odd

Strange. Does the button actually highlight before taking you to the home screen or does it just take you there?
No its just highlighted

Currently holding the square screen button does a screenshot, rather redundant with Volume Down+Power. Any way to change it something else?
Never mind, it's the recent apps button/ alt tab button, whatever you want to call it. It's not the home button.
It can be changed in >Gestures>Screen Tools> Screenshot>recent apps key
