1.5GHz is far enough... any higher and the heat produced outweighs the performance difference
What is your preference in terms of overclocking...through Tiamat settings or SetCPU? Is one considered to be more effective than the other?

I am still looking for a way to get the Wii apps to work, has anyone had any luck with any ROM for our phone?
CM7 is a success!
Wow it seems like such a long time coming, that I thought I wouldn't care anymore. But Damn! Its great to have Wii Controller Functionality! I have tried it, and with my classic controller attachment to my wiimote, I like the Free WiimoteController app from the free apps. Took a little work to make the emulators working correctly (tip: check the other settings for the Use Input Method checkbox)
Thank you everyone for keeping up the hope!
Is it possible to use more than one remote for multiplayer action?
multiplayr
I would think so, download an app to get it to work search "Wii controller" in the market
Yeah, most of the wiimote apps have multiple controller functionality
Someone get a way for a ps3 controller to connect. I just like finding multi used for my PlayStation stuff. Already got it as a Bluetooth gamepad for my laptop and I'd like to use it for my phone too!

Agreed. Better button layout options than that damned classic controller
Mind sharing how you got it working? Does it just work with the official KB1 release now (and of course corresponding custom roms?) Or does it still require some changes under the hood?
NO, only CM7 has gotten the right bluetooth to work with the pre-existing apps. No "under the hood" work.
Wont work with anything to do with touch wiz no matter what build u need cyanogen

Only cm7 and miui have the bluetooth files for it. The touch woz files are newer than the ones wii remotes use

I quickly tried Mario Kart and it was too jumpy for me. Refunded.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.androidemu.n64&feature=search_result thats the link.
Apparently updates are coming out to fix audio/framerate issues.
Imagine playing this with TV out with your wiimote/zeemote/ comparable controller.
BTW anyone know of a quality bluetooth controller for Android that's not the Wiimote?

I just played Star Fox 64 on my tv through the hdmi out with the wii controller actually, wasn't too bad, video playback was great, the sound wasn't though...hopefully with some updates it'll be a good app. Impressed with it so far though!

The first update is already out and should have fixed that. You're a really jumpy refunder, lol. yongzh is very active at updating and improving his emulators.
N64oid runs well on Xoom, but it has a lot of bugs to be worked out. I'm sure a lot of games will look and run much nicer in the next few weeks, but it's well worth the purchase.
Don't have a Xoom yet but Banjo Kazooie runs awesomely on my Fascinate. The only problem is touch controls, come on Bluetooth Game Gripper!

I am only jumpy because there is a stupid 15 min refund window! lol... I'll give it a try again later once it matures more.
I'm playing Mario Cart right now. Looks and sounds pretty good to me! I've got it hooked up to my TV and using Wiimote.
Just Played Golden Eye and marrio kart. amazing! Can't wait for more updates

Can u use two wiimotes and play two players?
^^^^ I would also like to know this
I emailed the dev for the Wii Controller IME, and he said this summer he's planning on adding nunchuk/analog stick support.
Kinda curious how you guys are controlling it with the WiiMote now, analog-stick-wise, I haven't had the time since I went and picked up my WiiMote again to mess with the N64 emulator with it.
God this is amazing

The ones that you must have and the ones to stay away from.
Thanks.
I use gameboid, n64oid, and FpSE (PS one emu) all work really good.

anything similar to DeSmuME for android?
What's the best PSX emulator? FPse seems to crash - or that might be my overclock? Hmm

FPse is the best PS Emu for Android. I have my Touchpad overclockd to 1.5ghz and it seems to be fine, most FPse games require different settings to get the best out of them, try googling FPse settings for that specfic game and you will get some answers .
I'm getting tired of getting killed using the touch screen controls. Any recommendations on controllers to play the game? Thanks guys.

Yup - root+ sixaxis widget + ps3 controller is the best solution, especially for the amount of buttons the ps3 controller has. However, before I rooted, I got one of these on sale (not cheap otherwise!) and it's amazing for Shadowgun (haven't tried many other games with it however): http://steelseries.com/products/other/steelseries-free-mobile-wireless-controller
Amazing little thing, great feel and I'm surprised by the quality. Also, cross-platform compatibility (Android, iOS and Windows, for example). I had my doubts, but after using it for awhile... wow. Such a small controller should not perform so well!
HOWEVER: keep in mind that Android compatibility is still spotty with controllers, especially if you do not have root. You'll need a game that either explicitly tells you that it is compatible with the controller of your choice (ie. "compatible with Moga controllers" ) OR has some way to map controls manually in the game. I haven't tried your game, so check first. In Shadowgun and NOVA, for example, in game settings you're able to map buttons. So even without root, you can plug a ps3 controller in via the dock's USB port and map away. Or pair the Free controller and you're off.
If you DO have root, I think there might be ways to emulate touch controllers with root and sixaxis, but I haven't tried. Unless someone else can speak to how well this works? Theoretically, this enables you to play games that aren't even designed for controllers.
Hope this helps!

Has anyone tried and used Sony remote play
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/ps4-remote-play-t2929147/page231
Does it work well on our nexus 6.
I've used it. It works fantastic when you're on the same network as your PS4. They haven't made it work outside the home yet on Lollipop. Probably won't until Lollipop comes out for the Xperia phones.
I too have tried it, and it does work great!

Yep works great
works flawless after you set it up properly. I use it almost every day
Are you guys able to use the dualshock manager to connect the controller natively, or are you all using sixaxis? Do you still have to double click for R3 and L3?

Thanks guys so am I right to assume what this does is allow me to a game on ps4 on my phone?. I thought it meant I could play all the free games as well, on psn. Wishful thinking I suppose.
