[q] [question] tap-to-focus [question] - LG Optimus 2x

This question is for developers, or anybody who can handle with it.
So i changed my DHD to 2x, and i miss tap-to-focus from the camera app. Is it possible to make it work in 2x?
Thnk ya!

I have tap-to-focus on stock LG rom v10d
Just keep pressed a little more

Hmmm. That's nice. I bought this phone with custom rom, so it doesn't have tap-to-focus!
Thank you for your answer!

You want tap to focus in camera app or camcorder ?
What custom rom use-it?

Also, CM7 has tap to focus.

I use O2X Flaire v3.O. I want tap to focus in camera app first of all, but both can be good for me!
Thanks!

Thanks for your answer, but i dont like the CM7's UI. I like the Stock-like UI. I use O2X Flaire rom atm, and that's fast and nice for me! Btw thank you for your tip, if there isn't other solution i will try that!

Comedy answer there, CM7 is a stock like UI, it's LG that have themed it
But I know what you're saying

Back button force closes current app?

One of the many ROMs i've tried had this feature in it. When you have an app open you can press the back button to force close it. Unfortunately i dont remember which ROM this was, but hopefully some here can help me out with this. Is there any way i can have this feature in any ROM i install or is this something specific to some ROMs?
Thanks a lot for any help provided!!
I believed it's a GB 2.3 feature
Settings>Applications>Development>Stop app via long press.
Hey thanks a million baseball!!!! Thanks for the quick reply, i feel dumb for not checking the settings first! :/
Running stock 2.3.3 and can confirm it's not there. It used to be in CM6.1.1, that's all I know for sure.
Im running an AOSP 2.3.2 with CM and its there. I'm super happy with this build!! no phone wonkiness, battery life is awsome, and it moves very smoothly!
It's a CM feature...
Also in MIUI.
I confirm, it's a MIUI feature
Can be found in most of the recent roms now. Especially the gingerbread ones.

Well, I'm pretty sure it was introduced in CM and then copied to MIUI but then again they share code from time to time so it doesn't matter.

Probably because almost all roms on XDA now just copy CM pretty much straight up.

[Q] LG O2X Weird Behavior

Hi to all, well a friend of mine gave me a LG Optimus 2X with the Stock rom on it (10d). The phone is very slow at everything. While listening mp3 for example and try to read at the same time my tweets or my mails or trying to open the browser the phone becomes unresponsive for a while. The same goes while on browsing the market! The phone performs worst than any android phone i have ever had!
Any workround? Please help.
Thanks in advance
Get off the stock ROM as soon as possible

So there is nothing wrong with the Phone (with the hardware)? It is Just the stock ROM in it?
Yeah, stock ROM is pretty bad really. You should notice a marked improvement by leaving it.

Agreed. The stock roms for the optimus 2x aren't that great. Try experimenting with rooting and different roms (I recommend topogogi's rom and kernel since those are the most stable at the moment). If you don't know how to do it then ask, there are a lot of people in this forum willing to help the people who are new to this kind of stuff

Yes that's exactly what i did! But for starters i installed modaco's FR19. It seems pretty good and stable so far. Now the phone is really fast! Are Topogigi or CM better than the one i installed?
Use a custom rom now!!

Hi, I recently bought this game from playstore, it says my phone (LGP970) could run it, but when I oppen it, it stays in black screen forever, and I have to go to the homescreen and force close the app. What can I do to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

I think its because you are using an unofficial ROM,that is to say that it is unstable.I recommend you do s u-turn back to Gingerbread.Try using Mercurified or Zeus. But if im wrong, someone please correct me
My main agenda is to help, not gain thanks.
Thanks, I'll try it with another rom, just one more question, optimus black hardware can run the game smothly?
it ran smooth on zeus rom, i use v7.1 and its fluid on it
for your problem, the cm10 is not stable as he said, some things such as hardware acceleration dont work i think...so, you can't play all games on it
Darn, I like the CM10 UI very much, but no camera, and no cool games, I'll change to zeus then, thank you!
EDIT:
Is this the zeus rom you use?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1454274
yeah its zeus v7.1
some say that v7.1 has more battery life than other zeus (i find that too)
and that v6.4 is faster
you choose...i'd rather choose v7.1 as i dont find it any slower than v6.39
if you like cm10, it has the ics look

LG apps

Hello, I am runing CM10 on my OB. This ROM is perfect but I miss some original LG apps like SmartShare, QuickMemo... Is it possible to install them back to my phone? And where I can find it?
