SuperAosp for Nexus S
Special thanks to the creator of the item inexus from which I have been inspired to give a graphic touch to the rom.
Thanks to Netarchy & Supercurio for incredible kernel!!
This rom (not a mod) has been developed entirely from the source of Google and very little of Cyanogen framework.
Thanks to Cyanogen and all his staff for the contributions received.
Is installed from the recovery, as always, do not worry if it takes a while to leave the first splash is entirely normal and configuration files running on first boot.
WARNING!
Only if you come from different roms (Donut, Eclair, Froyo) is necessary to WIPE, when coding in Gingerbread from this rom will not need to wipe again to install later roms.
New SupSetup V20 in all roms, not serve any previous SupSetup for this rom
The new integrated SupSetup activation brings on-demand applications in the applications section extras, you can enable applications that interest you as the Roma comes in "Lite" (without extra applications installed) so that everyone can choose the best configuration.
It is important before you set up Google account to be activated from applications before SupSetup so that when you connect to the servers to configure your Google account, they enter the downloads section.
After entering the market and to display applications install any application downloads for cool downloads.

What kernel is this based on?

From what I know from previous SuperAOSP work in Nexus One, it seemed that [email protected] makes his own kernel for his own rom for best compatibility. It should be the same here on Nexus S too.

Just flashed your rom and must say is very fast ! I also like the fact that you used latinime that contains more european languages so I know have dutch dictionary with the keyboard .. One small question .. Is there a way to get the original font back ?

It will take around 3-4 cycles of charging and discharging to reach the maximum potential of your battery. (as u have flashed a new rom)

Thankyou - freezing is now fixed but unfortunately the soft key lights are no longer lit.

So anyone using it for a while now? They say its smooth but how smooth??? Smooth like an iPhone 4S?? Is it smooth in the browser? Hardware rendering enabled?

Hmm the rom is released there might be some bugs because the rom is in beta stage

Hi again,
got a hot reboot after insert the pin
(also got it while screen shutdown , waiting for pin code)
Will try with no PIN (after resto + re-install)

EDIT: works better without pin code (will try add it from the rom later)
Edit2: Seems to work great (with best of aokp available !)

Please make new version based on aokp and Owain V80 when it will be available.

PIN code issue
It seems that when you enter your SIM PIN code (even when set from the rom itself) The phone will have a hot reboot (after wich it will be unlocked)
So, not a blocking problem but not really practical.

Hello. Know anyone if this rom or the roms with ics have Fast Dormancy FD and can be disabled? I Have some bugs with losing signal from my network. Thank you.

Test this rom about 2-3 hours it cools but GPS not work can't see any satellite and what is SwagPapers.apk and R-RemixPapers.apk do.

Steps To Install
- How to install:
- Move to sd card
- Enter recovery
-Flash CM7 Kernel (Stable)
- Full wipe (factory, cache, dalvik)
- install zip from sdcard
- choose the rom and install
- restart the phone.
- restart in CWM again
- flash GAPPS
SOME USEFUL TIPS
V6 won't have custon icons because is to large, if you want, just download it https://miui-life.googlecode.com/files/MIUILife%20Complete%20theme.mtz and place in sdcard/MIUI/themes, and chose in themes
- Miui have too many features, just explore you will be impressed
- If you are having randons and non reported bugs, try to flash cm7 and after this one
- Select custom ringtone from MIUI Music app
- Hold home button on lockscreen to activate torch
- Double touch on lockscreen center to activate music lockscreen
- I recomend you to use FlyOnMod Script for muuuch more performance
- If you want the black status bar from SS download it https://miui-life.googlecode.com/files/MIUILife%20v5%20Black%20Status.mtz place on sdcard/miui/themes and in theme manager to to cust > status bar.
- the rom becomes more stable after a few reboots
- to fix the call screen late bug just go to settings>programs>Call Settings>Answer Settings and DISABLE Enforce Proximity Sensor

same bug for the music player, otherwise, no other major issues nor bugs. :good:
