the battery cover does not include the NFC sensor, you will need to add one to it, to use the function.

I kind of like the android ones...pretty damn cool

back from china.
my supplier says the white cases, are not available yet in china, and will contact me when they arrive, I have ordered 35 pieces, also I did notice today that china in shenzhen, they just got delivery of over 100 black nexus s, all the shops were testing the units before they start to sell them, they were all wrapped in bubble wrap, and all are to be sold without boxes, the shipment was from europe or the us, without the boxes, they skip paying tax, that what i've been told.

So where to buy the cover 'cause at the ebay thing at the other post is postet that the list is ended so i cannot buy it i think, I'm right?

since a few minutes ago, i had one, if i dont get a reply in 2 days time, I can sell it to you.
where i got it from china, i got the last 2, i havent seen anymore yet, they have the normal one at a slightly cheaper price.

If you can sell me one by any chance, please let me know. I know I am late so don't expect it but I'm eager in trying one out and reviewing it.

I was just curious of what discounts and perks the employees receive.

I remember talking to one of the guys at a T-Mobile store a while back and I think he said that you get to buy a phone at the upgrade price every 6 months or something. I don't quite remember though, I may be Wrong.

Word to the wise, don't advertise much you're a tmo employee here or other blog sites, they don't like it, it's how I lost my job (last year, I have a much better one now)
But, since you asked, if you were hired direct to the company (not sine 3rd party wireless affiliate), last I checked, it was 2000 minutes, unlimited text for $10, unlimited data is an extra $5.
You get a 40% discount on the wholesale price of the device of your liking, but only for the first 2 lines. All additional lines are full price. You can have up to 6 lines (last I was there) with the criteria I listed above.
After 2 years, your 3rd and 4th year discount increase to 65%, and 5th year and higher, any device you want is free (but you have to pay outrageous taxes on the hardware)
They're a good company to work for, so long as you're in a position you like, and while they remain around).

when i was there they didnt give you an option to break up payments, it was just billed to your account within 1 to 2 months

Canceling Pre-Order, Buying at Gamestop.

NEED OPINIONS?
If gamestop is selling the nexus 7 in stores beginning tomorrow (12th). What's to stop me from calling google and canceling my order, hopping in the car and buying one over the counter tomorrow morning? Problem? I'll call around to the gamestops in my area to see if this is possible. anyone have some insight for me on this topic? WILL IT WORK?

no, order cancellations are being blocked. but you can return it when it does come.

Depends on what happens, if you have been following http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737556 you would know that gamestop may or may not have received an email from google telling them not to sell tomorrow. Also a lot of people who called google to try and cancel have been told its too late to cancel and they would need to wait till after delivery, return/refuse delivery and wait a few weeks for refund.

Here's whats stopping you...
I'm 99% sure you have to be on a preorder list from Gamestop to buy one...
You're not going to stroll in to gamestop and just pick up a Nexus 7 off the shelves. Gamestop has already hit their national wave 1 quota from google. I preordered my nexus 7 on Saturday, the 7th and I'm on wave 2. With that said, I don't know how stores would have nexus 7's just available to a general consumer to come in off the streets.

Bought two ipod touches off craigslist for 60 and 65
Traded them both in for $240 credit
270 (after taxes) + 125 (craigslist ipods) - 240 (trade in credit) = 155 for a brand new Nexus 7

Shipment coming Monday possibly Tuesday

Well I got my shipping info yesterday, and have yet to receive any update on ups of it being actually shipped.
So I call ups and asked what was going on, and why would they say delivery date of the 16th if I have seen it ship yet.
The rep said once it ships the delivery date will update to most likely to Tuesday.
Sorry to bring bad news but I just wanted to give a heads up.

I am pissed I could have bought it from Sam club cheaper and no shipping cost. I wish Google would have said retail stores would have it same time. This makes we want to dump Google and go to Apple and iOS full time.

Don't be so dramatic. Ordering from Google didn't guarantee that you get yours before anyone else. If you're getting angry over having to wait a couple of extra days, then Android is probably better off without you.
(For the record, I'm still likely to get mine even later than you get yours)

I ordered way back on the 27th from the Play store but still ran out yesterday and picked one up from a b+m store anyways. Wanted to be able to play with it over the weekend. When mine comes from Play, I'll either return this one or sell it to a buddy.
It will be worth the wait, I can assure you. This thing is all sorts of amazing.

I don't mind the wait that doesn't upset me I am upset because if they had stated retail stores would have it same week I would have bought it from there and saved shipping costs even if it was same price and now Sams club has it 20 bucks cheaper and with tax that is 40 bucks or so off.

Google could screw up 100 times over and I still would not jump over to Apple. Yes I'm pissed that I pre-ordered early from the Play store and yes GameStop pre-orders are already in their grubby hands but I will have my tablet by mid next week. Do I want to trade a few days waiting or jump over to sue happy Apple? Apple would rather kill everyone then release new/better products. The next iPhone will have the same design for 2 years minimum and the same screen size for another 5 years. And I'm not giving those bastards 30% of my app purchases just to blow it in the court room. I sold my iPad 3 two weeks ago and I have no regrets in doing so.

There's absolutely no need for yet another thread about orders/deliveries - there are stickies where you can discuss such matters.

If you would have looked more carefully, you'd see DROID - Life put the link in the article, and the auction ended at $105. Whether he gets paid is yet to be seen.

Deeeeefinitely not worth the price tag. I would say keep it in the box until they become available, but due to most 30 day polices and all these defects, I'd just as soon hold off on purchasing the device until it's all available at once like it should have been from the beginning.

Just ordered mine too, and i didn't get no notification either! but happy to buy one.

They are available in the play store for $20.
Unfortunately the shipping is $10 and you might have to pay tax ($2.17 - GA) for me.
