Hello, a few days ago CMONEX give me the SPL for CDMA Shift, she guide me to installed on my CDMA Shift and everything works fine, if I run "ecshift –bl" the WinMobile shows the colours bars and says "SPL-0.14.OliNex"
I couldn’t contact CMONEX again, we couldn't continue with the tests, I guess she’s busy
Now, what’s next? I want to cook a new ROM, but I’m not sure if I’m going well
I followed these posts:

I already dump the CDMA ROM and cooked a new one using the Shiftkitchen
Before flashing the ROM I want to know how to restore the factory version of the ROM for Snapvue, I deleted the restore partition (to have more space) and created an USB flash drive
Is it possible to restore snapvue using this USB restore drive?
Should I use the CustomRUU.exe to flash the cooked ROM?
Any help for creating the first Shift’s CDMA ROM will be very appreciated
Regards

Snapvue again has nothing to do with the recovery Partition this is just for your VISTA.
So to get u updated should wait for cmonex but as you have an mfg bootloader (colored screen) you should be able to bump a rom to your shift !
Greets
thanks for your answers, I am in contact with cmonex, hopefully soon we'll have a CDMA ROM

would u please upload the HardSPL for CDMA Shift??

Hi, I've lurked this graveyard since picking up a clio110. I appreciated all of the resources, information, and most of all; The Search Tool.
Since then, I acquired a clio200. I didn't realize the difference and I've bricked the WinMo board. I can still access bootloader but it seems I need a file. The file was shared by cmonex to a few members in need. The file name is: "RUU_ATLA_HTC_SPCS_1.14.651.1_0.14_2.30.00_1.33_PRL60711_SHIP_MO_Disable_PPST.exe"
I've seen mentioned in a few threads but cannot find it on the Google Drives nor the internet at large. Would a kind soul happen to have this file and be able to share it? I'm really bummed because it affects the audio hardware on the PC side since the audio components are on the WinMo board. You generousity can bring generousity. There are probably others out there that need the file and have given up. I really like the device and would really like to be able to make it work again. Please.
Snap vue hard reset
Ive also just obtained a htc shift, but whilst thevpreviuis own had restored the vista side ok. The snapvue side doesnt work as they have forgotten the password. There used to be tools to reset this but unsurprisingly the links are dead. If any one could make them available it woukd be a lifesaver
Thanks in advance

Sorry, I checked my HTC Shift archived files and I don't have this RUU_ATLA_HTC_SPCS_1.14.651.1_0.14_2.30.00_1.33_PRL60711_SHIP_MO_Disable_PPST.exe file that you are after.

Appreciate the dig. I still have that board if that file ever surfaces. Maybe one day. I have a couple other GSM based units that I still enjoy to this day!
I am in the unfortunate situation of being in a Mac only house. I really miss my PC, but that is for another day. Anyway, I need to update the rom on my phone. I know I have to get HSPL onto my phone before I can flash a new rom. I have fusionware and parallels runing on my mac, but can not get either to work to flash HSPL onto the phone. Is there anyway to flash HSPL onto the phone via the memory card, or is there any way to do it with a Mac? If so, can anyone please point me to the right direction.

you can try to move the folder that contains roms file to my document first
if you use virtual desktop
i can not say that it works, but maybe you will try it.
install wine for mac
load the Mono implementation of .Net for Windows (http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html klick on windows and load the first "mono for windows...")
install it with wine
than use the manual method of flashing.
pack the SSPL-Manual-TouchHD on your phone and start it
you will see the bootloader in a older version (1.07 or so)
than start the HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex with wine and hope that wine/mono/HSPL will find your phone ...
when it works, you can flash you new ROM via SD Card.

i have a macbook...flashing from the mac i found a bit hit and miss...in fact connecting the phone at all was something that sometimes worked an sometimes not..althought this may simply be the way i have (or have not) got things configured.
i found the easiest way was to use BootCamp and instll Win XP on the boot Camp partition...
...start the macbook in windows mode (runs natively on macbook (intel)) and then flash as you would from windows
Hi!
I have a Telus Touch Vogue (CDMA). My radio version is 3.42.50. I installed Warm Donut and I cannot make or receive any phone call with Android... Radio 3.42.30 doesn't work either.
Any idea what the problem might be? The phone is working fine using WM6.5.
I tried to search the forums but I can't find anything about this problem.
Thanks
Ekenfo
If you running from NAND. Flash a winmo rom and try the android install again.
Hi,
Thank you for your fast reply.
I forgot to mention that I'm running Android from SDCard.
I tried Eclair and got the same results.
Is there a way to do some debugging to find the problem?

maybe try downloading the files again
and let it create a new data file
I have a Sprint Touch Vogue (CDMA). My radio version is the same as yours (3.42.50). I can confirm the radio works fine with Android. Currently using Myns Warm Donut on SD card with 2 EXT2 partitions.
I reinstalled Android for the fourth time and it's working now.
Maybe the problem was that I didn't reinstall if after upgrading the radio?
I can now begin to enjoy it!
Thanks for your help.
Hey guys,
I have been searching for about a week and I have not found the answer to this question. Sorry if this is a repost!!!
Does anyone know if it is possible to flash tilt with a new rom using windows 7?
I do know that I can use an SD card but prefer to flash it from a desktop "if possible"
Thanks,

Why wouldn't it be possible ?
Win & uses WMDC
I haven't seen any documentation on this so I am not sure what I need in order to set that up. Is there a reference or FAQ on how to do this? or what utilities I need?
just flash as usual... only thing change is they used to call activesync, but now it is windows mobile device center. i dont think you need any specific documentation...
Ah, no wonder I haven't found anything then. Nothing really has changed!!
Thanks for clearing it up for me.
Hmm I just tried flashing a rom and it told me that I needed a newer update utility. I searched the forum and didn't see anything. Any ideas where I can find a new KaiserCustomRUU.exe?
Moved as not ROM Development.
Regards new flashing utility there isn't one but the issue you mention has been covered before can't mem the fix.
Easiest way leave out comp and use SD.

I agree, also, how does it matter if its a ROM...what matters is that the phone heating/battery eating issue and Wifi...
In my case, i want the GPRS to be used for the weather..but that too isnt happening...i can use GPRS in the internet browser, but NOT in the weather update and Marketplace and app store....is there a way i can get this to work..
My understanding is that we cannot currently boot from NAND as there is no code to start the LCD panel, thus the need to start with HaRET.
A quick look in the the Blackstone forum suggests they won't do it until all functions (gps camera etc) are fully working.
in current state there is no point to run droid as primary system. battery runs out in few hours and functionality lefts much to be desired. do not let excitement to get you, first impression maybe good but whole thing is not so usable just jet. play whit it some days and you see it yourself.
well, camera and gps in android cannot work under most htc devices.so,if just for fun, these are not big problems.as for the heat,if in nand,it may not as hot as it is when all needed have to be found in sdcard, and probably faster.i think what is most important is that the chefs have had x10 and dont pay much attention to xperiod.
It seems that there is a WMKernel that is only 5MB large,If it works,Android may work in ROM,I ever tried to place and run it in rom,and finally failed because there will be a img file that contains files of Android will be storaged,a file about 256 MB ,For Orginall rom,The ROM space if not enough
howerver,I'll have hope about it

so basically itll load the windows kernel (to recognize all the hardware) and then straight away get into the android kernel THROUGH wm kernel without installing the full wm OS?
that seems almost perfect because we wouldnt have to rely on the SD card as much..as long as we can have a stable android build that doesnt destroy the battery
I think putting android on flash is real ROM and nothing else.
I can't see point in having ROM that will just run haret from SD card. Then i rather just have WinMobile and launch haret manually.
