My Friends Incredible S Power button is very hard to Press.. I dont know why HTC made it like that ??
Does anyone know how to WAKE UP Phone with Volume button...
I dont want to loose Sense 3 lockscreen... so I dont want to Unlock with Volume... JUST WAKE UP..

agile lock is an easier option, if one is willing to pay for it

Not everyone loves Cyanogen Mods.. On my Sensation it runs sooo laggy.. felt like running Old Wildfire...

Hi um i was wondering if someone could pull the genius button.apk and make it install-able so that us with the legend to slide rom can use the genius button for what its intended for

Friend Stream is HTC (not tmo) and can only be installed on a Sense ROM.

Its not as simple as that....You need to be using an espresso rom to actually use the genius app, you cant just use it on any ol rom.
Who is getting the HTC Salsa?
Seems to be not very different from Wildfire S except the Facebook touch
the facebook button just makes it look ugly!
If it didn't have the daft Facebook button I would b all over it.

kinda pathetic for them to make a few phones that are "Facebook phones" why not spend the time making a actual descent phone for everyone, not just a phone for Facebook whores... I think its stupid and they messed up...

Havent come across one yet. Theres one for the wildfire s. Not sure how similar the two would be........

Does Sense stop working when you use another Launcher?
Coz frankly if not what's the point to use one anyway, when the Launcher drains your battery like hell. I installed Apex Launcher for ICS but the battery life was terrible.....

Oh yeah i did that but after few second's it starts itself. And as i saw the Sense is not 3.6 it's 3.5.221. Well i guess that would not get away unless i root the phone
Unfortunately, unless you root generally Sense will always boot itself back up in the background. It's a huge pain in the a**
If you want to avoid rooting then I guess staying on sense is your best bet.
But if you just root your stock ROM then you could delete the apk and use the launcher. That may help

Thanks for the advice. But i kinda wanted to keep the launchers close to my "heart" and use them whenever i want
If I remember good. I saw somewhere a script blocking a defined luncher.
When i get up i will look for the link but i think was somewhere on xda HD 2 LEO.
Would be nice but again, i got to be rooted....right?

Thank for the effort stona175 But that was the first thing i ever did. And it stops just the home screen. Widgets, lockscreen everything else is working. It will wait till i go rouge and root
I want to use my hero as an mp3 /video player is there a way to remove the phone part of the phone?

theres no need to remove anything to make it an mp3/video player. all you have to do is have airplane mode on all the time. as far as a good rom for speed, i suggest cm7.2 stable. from there you can customize with any app you want.

I agree, however you will need to experiment with it because my son did just that and he had problems with it being stable after playing a few songs. Don't expect to do much else with it.
No need for airplane mode either. Open up your dialer and dial *#*#4636#*#*
Then scroll down to the bottom and you will see radio. Then disable/turn off the radio.

? i use my heroc for mainly an internet browser, youtube, and music. i've never had it ever lock up on me while playing music in any of the cm7.2 rc's or final. did you or your son v6 supercharge the phone? thats usually the first thing i do.

That only works on a sense based rom. cm/aosp builds don't have the the dialer that supports ##DIAG#

In order to take Screenshots the easy way:
On the HTC Incredible Hold the Power Button, and before the power menu pops up, press the Home Key.. a screenshot is taken and is saved in a folder calld screenshots.
This Happens on the HTC Incredible S with ICS 4.0.4. I am not sure if this also happens on the other variants of android on HTC Inc S.
