First ICS Screenshots! - Motorola Droid and Milestone Q&A, Help & Troublesh

I thought that the blue icons that we had seen earlier was too flashy for me, but it looks to have been toned down a bit. Looks sleek!

I think we're getting REAL close to the Nexus Prime/Nexus Galaxy being revealed. Although Samsung and Google postponed their announcement at CTIA, Eric Schmidt from Google still said we'd see ICS in October or November
The only thing that throws me off is the Model Name is called "Tuna", I wonder if that's a decoy or something to make people think it isn't the real thing

Looks goood!!!

Indeed looks nice!

(Never mind) I thought the New iPad 2 runs Android Honeycomb!

I just saw it in the Telemundo Noticias, the new iPad 2 from Apple and they didn't mentioned nothing interesting other than it's thinner.
But !
Edit:
They showed a tab running Gingerbread...
They're stupid they should have shown in the preview the current iPad, not one with Android :/
I think they can release one with Mac OS X, but that they can doesn't mean they should....
They want people to get high-tech little by little so their win extends. If you know what I mean....

You can't believe everything you see on the internet, I doubt apple is going to leave their previous Ios for honeycomb. As great as that would be. But I'd need a link to convince me you're not just blowing smoke out your ass haha

The iPad 2 is running iOS 4.3
Comes in black and white
Other then being thinner and having 2 cameras its the same thing.
What made me rage was how Steve was bragging how the App store has 65,000 apps, and the Honeycomb has only 100. Um, hello, iPad is out for over a year, the Xoom isn't even out yet...I think. If it is, only a few days.

Naa, I've said it already the note was that they talked about the upcomming iPad 2, that it was gonna be mad thinner than the first, I thought that it was it what they were showing, because I haven't seen much about tabs so you should understand I was cofused.

FIREFOX OS - screenshots preview

Are you curious about how the Firefox OS will look like? You can see the screenshots of it below.
Well they said that The first smartphone that uses Firefox OS is scheduled to be released in the late of this year or in early 2013.

Well, the awesome thing about Firefox OS is that every starting webdeveloper is capable of making apps and themes. Whether or not that's a risk concerning the quality of apps is another story though.
I really do hope this comes to the O2X though, a lot of things I've already produced would be easily transformed into apps! :victory:
Oh! I didn't even know they were making an OS... Nice
It's an entirely new OS?
I think it is looking pretty good. It will be interesting to follow this os.

I personally think it looks quite simple and elegant. I don't see how it looks old... We don't need anything that looks new, we just need something that works. If it's possible to get this up and running on our G2x/O2xes, and it runs well, why the hell not!

Nexus 7 Custom Colored Back

So I got my Nexus 7 and was excited to see it up close and in my hands. Once I received it I fell in love with its design and feel. But one thing was missing on the back. The back was just to plain and boring for me. Google could have at least colored in the Nexus logo to spice things up. So instead I went ahead and did my own coloring on the back of my Nexus 7. See the pictures below. If you guys want I can make a tutorial on how I did it and what I used. Thanks!

That's pretty smart, I like it. It would have been a nice idea to have a line of coloured backs ready to upsell on eager new owners, but I suppose they don't want people jimmying off the backs to replace them
BTW, yeah, I'd like to know what sort of paint you used, acrylic?
It looks good. I'm holding out for the custom backs sure to come.

Very cool paint job. I dont have one yet but I assume that the logos is carved in the back and you just used some paint to paint in the spots?

I used Elmers Painters Neon Pack from Amazon. I bought them just to try this out. I wouldn't really recommend these because the tip is to big to get the paint into the engraving and it took me awhile to clean it up. And it doesn't seem like the paint would really hold up that long. Im going to try to take out all the paint and re-do the color with some better markers.
This is really cool! Definitely makes the back look much more enticing and, I think Google and Asus should've designed something like this to begin with.
I'll be trying this out for sure! Nice work!

Nexus Excitement

I know many are just excited as I am about the N4 so I want to talk about all the good things about it. Is anyone else more anxious about the phone because of the lack of the press event? I find myself checking every couple hours for a good hands on video to admire. Ahhh, the nexus butterflies all over again

The only hands on videos are from reviewers at a Google demo. Actual review units have been sent out already apparently. We will have to wait until the NDA lifts to see the results though and I imagine it will not be until the week of release.

I think separately looking on what you get in the box on the play store page. When the verge did their video it was still in prototype.

Cyanogenmod Nemesis

Just getting everyones thoughts and speculation as to what this might be...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=PcpyavQSvMk
I'll be frank and say I'm not really caring at all.
1st. If it's that great.. Just show it.. Stop with the Michael Bay movie trailer style teasers for an Android feature..
2nd. I haven't cared for anything Cyanogenmod has put out since Gingerbread and not seeing this as anything but another piece of bloatware they include.

I agree with the first point completely. But you gotta give credit where credit is due, especially if you're running a non-stock ROM. A lot of the custom features are based off cm code, especially in all these kitchen-sink Roms you see on the Dev boards now a days. CM is the originators, not the duplicators.

I can agree with features to a point.. It is the ROM as a whole that lost me ages ago and some of the "features" they shoehorned into it.

I love this post a ton. Kudos!
i think it has something to do with a new camera feature in which the camera takes multiple photos and allows you to select the best one. Or maybe even eliminate unwanted elements in a photo as seen in new lumia phones. What ever it is.. I cant wait for it!
Maybe its the new 4.3 CM Rom or a phone with CM as stock.
Like the suggestion of it being a Rom for an Iphone. How much would that upset Apple
Did anyone recognize that phone on teaser? Narrow bezel, not-so-good screen (low viewing angle), Android 4.2.2 and "FREE" sign instead of carrier name.
I think there's something more than camera.
EDIT: Look at the lockscreen wallpaper. Maybe it is red (but because low viewing angle it is kinda blueish)... like on Android 4.3?

So now he's gonna ignore all other phones and concentrate on one manufacturer, the same as he did with Samsing. CM is supposed to be universal.

I know for sure it is a french phone. Free is a carrier and an internet provider in France. Makes me think of a nexus device, and it looks like the google edition wallpaper.
These buzzwords make me believe that they might start a second path and include stuff they want to see in android, which is too far from googles guidelines
and therefore not included in regular cyanogen mod:
Complete UI overhaul, colors, animations, functions...
But then there is the lockscreen in this trailer, which just looks like stock android.
So we can just wait and enjoy what might come...
