[ROM] Titan *Team Infinity* - Vibrant Android Development

For now it's just a stock rom with a few mods and root.
Eventually it'll expand and evolve into a full rom much like Trigger or Bionix was.
Status: still in alpha stage you guys can watch this just to pass the time
ETA: no idea. Using KJ3 base instead of JVT now so porting KJ3 might take some time.
Features:
SGS4G (KJ3) base
stock theme (pm me if you are a themer and want your theme in this rom)
Rooted zipaligned and busyboxed
Xcal's kernel/ bullet (undecided)
juwes ram script
1 lockscreen (for now)
EDT GPS fix
100% working wifi calling w/o bugs
Remember: I don't know much at building my own rom but I'm still learning.
Older beta:
Titan JVT BETA 0.1: https://sourceforge.net/projects/teaminfinity/files/Titan/Titan Beta v0.1-Untested-.zip/download
Team Infinity:

Titan will be delayed.
I'll might using an SGS4G base instead of an i9000 base for possibly a smoother and faster experience and 100% working wifi calling.
I hope you guys accept this change of base.

Kernels, modems, script tweaks, framework. There not the same, and there not just themed. Only way to find out is to test a few of them. Read the OPs. You will see that they are not the same.

Goodmorning,
So to answer your question regarding this particular ROM, I believe JS7 is the latest 2.2.1 that was released in the i9000 forums. Most of the current 2.2.1 builds are based off JS5. Since there is no changelog between the two there is no way for me or anyone to pin point exact changes/improvements. Most however always like to know they have the "latest and greatest" firmware there is to offer. This also provides a great base for ROM chefs to build off of with some of the leg work already removed from the equation.
Thanks for posting Demiurgic and welcome to the team.
EDIT: As for screenshots, it should look like STOCK 2.2.1 froyo from i9000.
I have to admit I saw the word force in the title and got giddy. I thought it was a star wars rom.

33, No.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
As far as, is it a theme:
No, this is a stock choice of rom. Since the releases are coming out now from XWJS5, XWJS7, ZSJPG and BOJS5 - there are only small noticeable changes BUT the underlying changes are enormous. The services.jar for each of these has to be made separately which means that the settings.apk, android policy, framework etc.. all also have to be modded to match the new services.jar to add lock screens and power options.
Reasoning behind multiple EDT releases:
EDT works as a loose consortium of devs. We all work on our own projects while we collaborate on fixes and share knowledge, deodexed files, ports etc.
Is having a large choice of ROMs a good thing?
Yes.

Best gingerbread JVP ROM?

Which is fastest ginger JVP ROM and fastest kernel for it? Having been on cm7/miui since the froyo days im kinda curious now

not a direct response to your question but: I've tested a few jvp roms incl. Juwe's v5 release (and I honestly admire Juwe for his work) however insanity 10 (which is CM based) provides a much smoother user experience. give it a try....

C'mon duds, I've been on stock froyo, I went to and flash the O3D GB roms but none of them are as good as this official release for the thrill, my battery life went to the roof, very fast, easy to root, etc. etc. etc. it was worth the wait, I know a dev can make it better but for now I can wait patiently, so dont be such a crying baby just root it and delete al the apps that you dont want
get rid of 20p and go 20c its the same baseband and you can flash roms to them you can go back to 20p when devs build roms for it i may never go back to 20p it sounds like its just as bad as all other things by at&t just ask the dark lestat

The v20p baseband has worked for me on every rom I have flashed. It's the v20p rom base that is not compatable with other kernels that is the problem. At least this is what I have read as I use v21e base Prometheus most the time.

[Q] Can i port Galaxy s3 stock rom on galaxy s i9000?

I read that someone lauched the stock Galaxy s3 and i tried bunches of roms and now i'm porting the 'vaule pack' 'cause the other roms didn't make my galaxy work 100% and i prefer the stock, but there are many Apps that only work on ICS and i'd love to have them again but not in a ics rom so that's why my question if i can port it, so i read that the files weights about 800 MB it's much but i can pay the price to wait downloading ja ja

Congrats and salutations! Gone beyond cooking and actually into development. Welcome aboard.
As I said, I am using cm10.2. Has bluetooth problem (partly better but not really well-behaved in cm10.1) but it does run much nicer than cm10.1. Also prefer its notifications features. Of course, sources you backport might gain some more speed and smoothness for your hybrid as well. As far as I got with cm11 experimentals, bluetooth turned on and off like in the old days. Found KitKat too dependent on Chromium which is armv7 so lets out our devices. So maybe your approach is the way to go. Are you daring to touch ART (OK, your ROMs are a work of art)??
What are you doing about selinux? Old recoveries will flash the ROM?
Fix camera default exposure? Have everyone eating out of your hand
All the best. Watching this one!
