Google+ 2.0 ICS Leak!! - LG Revolution

Google+ app that was not to be released until the launch of ICS has been leaked also! Get it here!

What's new:
First off, the notification bar has been moved from the bottom to the top. Other than that, nothing really to see here (aside form Chord, but we've already talked about that).
Much like the Music 4.0.1 app, this update seems to be all about polish. Everything looks cleaner and more intuitive. The overall organization and layout has been improved.
Aside form a few minor icon changes, the Stream looks (and functions) basically the same.
Again, this is a look at Chord, the option previously known as Messenger previously known as Huddle. Overall the same, just a bit cleaner.
Much like the main screen, the bottom bar has been moved to the top and the overall layout is just more polished. This update is definitely all about cleanup.
The photo albums are larger and easier to use on the small screen and also keep inline with the update theme.
The updated Notification window is basically the exact same. Basically.
Composing a new Chord. Again, polish.
As you can see, the update doesn't bring much in way of function, but it does bring a nice aesthetic update. There is one key thing missing, however: the widget. That's right -- for some reason, the widget is nowhere to be found... but only on phones. This is most likely still a test build, so I would expect the widget to pop back up in the future. It is still available on tablets, and it's a major upgrade from the current widget.
It functions a lot like other Honeycomb widgets: it's resizable and scrollable. It also lets you choose which circles you want to display, with the option to display all circles. Unfortunately, that's the only change on Honeycomb tablets. I was desperately hoping for an updated, tablet-friendly interface, but that's a negatory, Ghost Rider. Not happening this go around.

I like it too

FYI... After installing this app you will no longer be able to edit your contacts. Contacts will force close. Not sure why.

Where Are The Widgets?

I see new apps pop up everyday, but how come there haven't been any new widgets yet?
I had a great idea for an alternative to the Google search widget, but I can't find the code for it to work off of. Does anyone have any insight they can share on how or where I can get it?
I liked the idea of the widgets, but after a few days I removed both of them. It just took up to much room on my display. there is already a digital clock, why is a analog one needed too. And my home page is google, so why do I need it on my home screen. Once they come out with useful ones I may try again. But now they just are not needed for me.
Sorry its a bit off topic, but thats always bugged me.

That's the gist of what I was getting at. I hate the analog clock too, and the Google one is almost just as useless. There is a lot of potential, but I'd hate to see a rash of useless ones like some of the apps currently in the market.
You know what would be nice, if you can download a widget that is used on igoogle. there are a lot of cool/useful ones there.
They havent released the SDK for widgets yet. Soon as they do im sure you will see many tip calculator widgets.
I want a weather widget! I would love to see the weather for today and 2 days into the future just like my old Hermes did.
the week before the G1 came out, Android Community was teeming with app and widget ideas. I roposed a weather widget similar to the weather tab on TouchFLO 3D. Instead of having the 3D weather overlay on a blank black screen, the weather would overlay on top of the desktop, making it look liek the weather is happening inside your phone. Imagine your screen getting frost on it from the inside, rain drops dripping down your screen, blurring out your icons, snow blowing across stick to the screen and making snow drifts when it hits your icons.
ok back on topic.
Once the SDK is released there will be a swarm of widgets popping up on the market, but there's definitely going to be some rel crappy things out there, just like apps and games..
I never use one of my screens I would love a weather on to utilize that full window.

You forgot crappy themes lol
might be awhile for widgets, the widget SDK required root access, so they have to pretty much redo the majority of it before they can release it since they don't want anyone to have root access...dunno if that's Google's decision or T-Mobile's.
That's gotta be tmobile doing that. Google's all about open source right?

can we please put that from fiction into reality????!!!! That would be amazing. Another strike against these cocky iphone owners... (only envy from me )
Maybe an own thread - wishlist- app???
there is an app on the market called steamy window. Maybe a good start to combine with a weather app?
I could (for the most part) care less about cupcake's offerings. I want some of the "behind the scenes" stuff to help smooth out the OS, but the flashy stuff I could care less about. Widgets, in my opinion, are the only eye candy I could use or want....
I wonder if it will even be possible to create without root access since it needs to push/pull info from the main application.
My first thought when having the G1, was if they plan to include widgets at some point (which I bet they do), then will they allow us more than 3 homescreens? I mean, the google widgets themselves take up valuable realestate!
I don't get it, why do you say "when the sdk will be released", you mean a total new version of the sdk ?
And why can't we now, develop widget, we just have to look how the google search widget was done and realise some widget.
And yes, the htc meteo interface is really amazing, if someone realise something like that for android, it will be awesome

[THEME] Lordsmiff III (CM 4.2.5) 17th Nov

Call me picky but, I just couldn't seem to find a theme that I really liked. Android 2.0 comes close but I liked the red of the blur ROM - so, wanting a red-ish theme and a smaller app drawer at the bottom, I decided to make my own theme.
I also seem to be a bit of a rarity in that in the main, I actually like the default status bar icons so I don't feel it necessary to make the battery round or android shaped or anything. So, on mine, the battery looks like a battery...I dunno, seemed kinda logical to me ;-) I added a little touch of colour to some of them but nothing OTT I don't think (I really like my 3G activity icon now - reminds me of an old modem with status LED's
There are a couple of things that I pinched out of other people's ROMs (gmail icon from djengiz), widget background from ZilverZurfarn's melange theme but most of it has either been replaced or re-coloured by me
Thanks to everyone I've nicked stuff from and anyone else I haven't "credited".
And, of course, a big thanks to Cyanogen for his awesome ROMs
It runs OK for me - I've only got a G1 so use it on anything else at your own risk.
Guarantees :
1) I will mysteriously disappear should this break everyone's phones.
2) I probably can't fix it if it doesn't work (mention it anyway though)
3) That it will not work on your Nokia N95
4) Or your Sony Ericsson C905
5) That I've not finished tweaking it
Todo list:
=======
*** Status bar background - re-thinking the brushed metal look - let me know what you think about this
*** Power widget background (still using ZilverZurfarn's but want to get my own there ASAP)
* Browser link shortcut icon needs re-colouring (forgot for this one)
** Analogue Clock Widget
* App drawer handle needs "tidying" - I'm not as happy as i could be with it
Hope you like it - let me know how it works out for you.

Cheers,
Smiffy.
Update to 4.2.5
============
I've re-done most, if not all of the icons that I just pinched from the blur ROM and I've been a bit more selective of the stuff that I've recoloured as I thought it was looking a little too dark previously. I've also taken out a lot of the un-used png's that have been hanging around as the ROMs have developed.
I initially used the Android 2.0 theme as a template for mine and there were a few files in there that could come out and some from the blur ROM that I'd copied over and weren't used on the G1. Oh, and I've also deleted all thumbs.db files in all my drawables folders - so it should be a little smaller now and putting less un-needed crap on your phones.
I've been using this myself for a couple of days now and not had any FCs at all so I think you're good to go
Theme-porn follows:
I do love the design of the power widget, I may have to steal that for my alienaqua theme, it has similar colors.
Really nice choice of colors, great job on this and reading the post made me laugh. Thanks for sharing, keep up the great work.
This looks real stylish.
A lot of nice details and as prash said: the power widget is beautiful.
that lock screen is sick. one of the best i have seen !
Edit: just realised it was from the 2.0 theme lol. but nice the anyways
hey what lockscreen is that?
I just downloaded this theme, and the app drawer tab for me is still the same as cyanogen's stock one that he had and not like the android 2.0 type tab you have in the screenshots. any thoughts on how to get it to look like that?
It includes both the Advanced Launcher and the standard one - if when you press the home key, it doesn't give you the choice, use the application manager to remove the default setting (you can switch back if you don't like it).
I originally wasn't going to used the advanced launcher but it is much more stable these days and I haven't had any problems or slow down with it.
It's the only one of the two that I have skinned so far - I will update it in the next day or two so that they are both skinned
Thanks for the positive comments everyone This was only something I was doing for myself but like someone mentioned above, it's in the details and I wasn't happy with only doing a few bits and pieces so I went further and reached a point where I was happy to share it with others.
There's still a few things I want to do yet but I'm having the weekend off and will get back to it on Monday
If it i can leave it alone for that long... ;-)
Cheers,
Smiffy.
great looking theme!
lockscreen looks good but dont function nicely
I am not too crazy about the red but otherwise this is a really good looking theme. It's very fast and stable.. no force closes or other crashes yet. Great work!
I just installed this theme over CyanMod 4.2.4. It works well with no issues so far.
Well, there's a few new icons in 4.2.4 so I've updated my theme and played with a lot of the new stuff.
It's working OK for me with no FCs but caveat emptor and all that...
Thanks for all the positive comments. I've also gone back to the standard lock screen for the time being - as much as I didn't care about the stretching issue in landscape, I wasn't overly happy about nicking someone else's work so I may do my own in the near future.
Might not though so don't hold your breath or anything - in fact, I actually like this standard one...we'll see.
Oh, and about the analogue clock - I'm going to make it slightly darker but not do much more than that to it - do people even use it?
Cheers,
Smiffy.

[CLOSED 12/20/2010] [ROM] SK-ROM Beta v0.3

SK-ROM Beta 0.3
This beta is now closed, as I am about to launch Magnolia RC1, the first release candidate for this ROM. Thanks to all who have tried out the ROm for their support and input.
Steve
ROM Features:
Based on stock HTC Sense/Froyo OTA v3.26.605.
Uses latest stock HTC kernel to help alleviate battery drain.
"Matte" Sense UI. I completely redid all "shiny" elements of the Sense UI (including green highlights), status bar and HTC apps to make then smoother, more refined and professional looking (IMHO).
Added notification pulldown power widgets, custom skinned by me. Thanks to |||bored|||, dopeshiziot and JSCHiSurf for this.
Apps softkey (left softkey) is mapped to Maxim's AppFolders, a fully customizable app drawer that I have come to depend on, since I first saw it implemented in deficitism's Uncommon Sense. A BIG nod to deficitism for both the idea and the tools to figure out how to do this.
Right softkey mapped to browser (will consider other mappings if there is interest). Thanks to JsChiSurf for the tools to learn how this is done.
Added battery percentage mod and smooth sense icons. Thanks to jercik for these.
Added 6-Bar signal meter. Thanks to deficitism for the tools to learn how this is done.
3-in-1 power menu (reboot option) by snq-
Replaced HTC Car Panel with Google CarHome.
Transparent clock background (flip from HD, for now...) and settings/profile widget backgrounds. Props to HeyItsLou for the inspiration for these.
Made the lockscreen and rosie navbar transparent, and the statusbar pulldown semi-transparent. Thanks to shoey-n for the services.jar mod to allow this.
Slight graphical mods to dialer to make it easier to see and use (IMHO).
All framework and resources images were compressed and optimized to maximize RAM.
Statusbar clock, alarm, debugging and location icons are hidden by default. I have attached Zip files to post #3 to add these back, if desired. Thanks to pardonmyfreedom for the tutorial on how to do this.
Removed what seems to be agreed upon as bloat from the ROM (e.g., Vcast, Footprints, etc.). Other quasi-bloat apps (e.g., VZWBAC, Quickoffice) are in data/app/ and can be uninstalled.
Blue spinning android boot animation from Natemz over at androidcentral.com.
ROM is fully deodexed, zipaligned and rooted.

Known Bugs
For some reason the newest Gmail (2.3.2) won't intall over the version included in Beta 0.3 I posted earlier. Seems that this is not an uncommon problem with various ROMs. I have, as of 11:30 PM EST 12/12/10, uploaded the fixed ROM with the latest Gmail (same download link as before). So, if you are new to the ROM, no worries, the latest version is included. If you already have v0.3 installed, many apologies, but you will need to reflash if you want to have Gmail 2.3.2.
----------------
I have been a member of XDA for a long time, and I recently switched from WM to Android. I have been messing around with some ROMs for my own use over the past month or so, and figured it was time to release a ROM into the wild in hopes that the community can help me make it into something on a higher plane than I can do on my own.
The ROM is based on the stock HTC Sense/Froyo OTA v3.26.605.1 that I pulled from the always excellent virtuousrom.com. By painstakingly analyzing what the wonderful devs on this site have been up to via countless "diff" commands and analyzing smali files until my eyes hurt, I rebuilt/modded the ROMs framework and apps to make the ROM I have been looking for.
I want to state that, while I did my own coding/theming and implemented the features of this ROM slightly differently than the devs I learned them from, I owe ALL of this ROM to those devs' hard work an ingenuity. All I did was learn what they were doing and figure out how to make it work the way I wanted.
I also want to note again that I am very new to cooking (have been a themer mostly) and this ROM is BETA. While I have found it to be stable for my own personal use, I cannot say it will be for you. Therefore, download and flash at your own risk, for I take NO responsibility for what happens to your phone if you install this ROM.
Again, I want to state that I owe all of the devs listed above for their hard work and ingenuity, without which I would not know how to do any of this. If anyone believes I have not credited someone I should have, please shoot me a PM and I will correct my error. Similarly, if I have unintentionally violated acceptable etiquette in any way, please let me know via PM, and I will try to fix the problem.
Install by downloading the ROM to your SD card (or copy it there from PC) and rebooting into recovery, WIPING data and cache (I wipe dalvik cache, as well) and selecting the "install from sdcard" option. It takes a while on the first bootup, so please be patient.
**NB- there have been extensive changes to the framework in version 0.3, so I recommend a full wipe, even if you have 0.2 installed.**
Please enjoy, and I hope to receive your feedback, help and ideas for improvement. I believe this will be the last beta before RC1, unless there is something I am missing
Steve
Changelog
Beta v0.3
I plan this to be the last beta before releasing RC1 under a new, better name. So, please, any bug reports, comments are welcome. Thanks.
Added custom skinned status/notification bar power control widgets. Credits in 1st post.
replaced Ziggy's kernel with latest HTC stock kernel. Didn't feel performance bump was worth battery drain.
Fixed 6-bar signal being limited to only 4-bars. Thanks to |||bored||| for reminding me of this.
Many small framework and resources tweaks.
Beta v0.2
Fixed sync notification animation
Added 6-bar signal meter
Added data/app functionality to allow for uninstalling some apps that might be considered bloat.
Updated gapps.
Added Zip files to post #3 to allow customization of icons shown in status bar.
Reserved
OK. Sorry for the wait. The status bar icon show/hide files are now attached. I tested each briefly, so they should be fine, but nandroid before flashing, just in case.
Steve
nice to have you over on our side, any chance of getting that wallpaper?
@mothy
Here you go...
Wow! This looks great! Amazing features for a beta at V 0.1 haha. I'm definitely gonna switch from the latest skyraider to this. Thanks for the hard work on this man! Hope to see you around more, hopefully updating this thing of beauty with even more features!
I'm stoked to try this out!! I can't download it from my phone for some reason tho. Can you put a mirror up?
Are there any known bugs?
love the matte look.. will keep an eye on this. how does the call answer lock look like? is it matte also or transparent? any plans on implementing the 6 signal bar? and could you elaborate on the easier to use dialer?

The only "bug" I know is that the animated sync icon isn't working yet. I am sure some will come up, though, as I haven't used every app/feature of the phone.

Yep. I am just getting into the services.jar files to see how this is done. Hopefully in a few days I will have it. I would like to learn how it works rather than just copy it over from someone else.

As to the call answer, it's transparent. I was toying with replacing the android guy, but couldn't settle on a picture.
As to the dialer mod, it's just a graphical mod to make the keys and dialing text easier to read. Sorry, should have been clearer...

So far this rom is running great! One minor gripe, about 50% of the time when I unlock the phone, I get the "Sorry, android.mms.apk has force closed" or whatever. I'm sure it can easily be fixed with a patch though, because I've seen a bunch of other MMS fixes on lots of other peoples roms. Other than that this rom is fluid, fast, and very easy on the eyes. Love it.
Is Visual Voice Mail removed from this? I know some people consider it bloat, I consider it essential.
I have been running it for two hours now - working great!
It does have VVM. I use it, too.
As the the mms force close, I have also seen this on other ROM threads, hasn't happened to me on this one, though. Will work on a fix tomorrow. Thanks for pointing that out.

As to the MMS FC issue, may I ask a few questions: Have you tried fixing permissions in recovery? Did you use Titanium backup to restore your text messages? Have you ever had apps installed on your SD card?
Thanks!
Steve
I've never used titanium back up, I've never had apps installed on my sd card, but no i have not tried fixing permissions.
It only did it for the first day or so. It's perfectly fine now. I'll try fixing permissions though.

▐▄▀▄▀▌2 NEW Themes for Testing / 2 Possible Added: 3/26
WELCOME
as i have stated in my ELse theme thread i have been working on some cool new themes for Throttle Launcher...
they dont all work great and they are very simple so far...
so no major mind blowing features...
i do plan on refining them to get them to work nicely for everyone though..
ONLY WVGA AND WQVGA for both
i am also working on a neat idea i had for straping my TD2 to my wrist with a strap... and using it as a glorified Wristwatch..!!!
so i am custom making a WVGA theme for this purpose... its really only practical for the TD2 as it is so thin ...
other phones way to bulky !!!!
i will upload some pics soon... but in the meantime here are the themes for you guys to get all worked up about and to beg me for the next two months to finish
is called Freedom Fone... for now...
cool features.. slide down on the screen to activate the lockscreen
and the awesome CLOCK!!!
_____________-
thats its for now... enjoy
TWO MORE THEMES IN THE WORKS!!!!!!
ZUNE PHONE
look how similar the TD2 and the ZUNE HD look!!!!
PSP PHONE... maybe if im creative enough!!!
no zip's yet.... be patient....
if you want these just post a message which one you prefer to have done!!!
reservado tambien...

Liking the Lacuna theme... patiently awaiting tweaks.
I would like kinetic scrolling in the mesages section (like in friends section) if possible.
Huge potental in this theme. I am looking forward to future releases.
hey trekfan, very very nice... i actually dont really miss ELSE anymore with these ones in the mix
u r such a creative genius!
at this stage: im liking the lacuna theme, but this may change over the course of the next couple of days/weeks
ok some initial thoughts/feedback:
freedom fone:
clock:loving it! if you could select program to open that would be good!
date: the digits for the date dont look that great... would be good if i can i open calendar if i click on the date
phone: not implemented yet? at this stage it goes to start menu (im sure you know)
messages: would be good to be able to select sms program to use
calendar: the appointment subject and the location of the appointments seem to overlap. if we could select the program to open when we click on an item that would be great
menu: any chance to have an option where you can select favorite programs, possibly override windows start menu??
lockscreen: HOT!
other:
-how about next alarm info?
-how about adding a tab for email? or being able to choose what tabs u show on the home screen?
lacuna:
clock: next alarm info beneath clock maybe?
menu: any chance to have an option where you can select favorite programs, possibly override windows start menu??
friends: favorites would be very good, especially if you have a lot of friends
text: i selected sms chat as the sms program, but when i click on a text message it still brings up the usual messaging app from samsung
mail: im guessing this hasn't been implemented yet, but can't wait until it does ...
other:
-the sliding can it combined with the ability to click on the sub-menus to see that page? i.e. so you do not need to swipe twice to get from 'friends' to 'mail'
first to jaeskil...
yes i wil have kinetic for messages... but uits not working right now
wil_dee
you share my visions.....almost all of those things are planned implementations....
glad everyone likes lacuna.... its my favorite too
i really eager to know how the notification will be like in lacuna themes...also can u put the refresh button to message page....thanks...love ur themes...

for the notifications...
see the little blue rectangle in the top right....???
when a new text or email or event is up.... another blue rectangle will appear a little under the first one with words to the left of it.... saying "1 new message" or "1 new email" or whatever and when yo u click it it will take you to the throttle launcher page for the corresponding notification first ... rather then straight jump to the app of your choice.
kinda like this...
im not sure how to implement the refresh button but i will try...
lacuna lockscreen....
will look like this.
notification style for the lockscreen is undecided...
it will actually be the first page when the launcher shows up... this is so it can have the nice scroll effect...
Liking Lacuna keep it simple and you have a winner there
Did you make the changes we discussed to the FF clock images yet?
It looks like as mentioned in someone elses thread custom images are going to be needed for the date as well.
in your config the theme is still defined as switchblade as well - only checked to see if I got a mention
*edit* have now taken a look at both themes
the first thing that needs to be done is an editable and selectable wallpaper option to be inserted into both, now on to specifics
Freedom Fone does appear to be roughly where we left it, I have tried several ways and cannot figure out how to get the image for contacts to appear next to the messages. Otherwise it is a good solid clean theme which just needs the little touches mentioned above.
Lacuna (where did the name come from?) is NICE sooo simple and clean, congrats. The only thing I have found so far is the text page and most likely the mail page can be moved around when pressing on a message, I think this is due to the frame for the messages being larger than the text size illustrated by the fact that characters are being lost off the right hand side.
On the negative, I dont think the bottom right button fits the rest of the theme and I think you should look to develop an alternative take on the taskbar. You have the graphical talent and now the xml experience to pull off something more original.
There are a few things I would do differently with this theme, perhaps I can have your permission to use the base to create my own take on it please

lol... but seriously... in Music a Lacuna is an extended silence in the piece.... and i keep thinking in my head if i had a commercial for this theme ... it would be a build up of classical symphony while a black background with fading words discribe things we look for in a simple theme.... and finally when the screen shows up and does some stuff a Lacuna is the only way of matching the visual appeal... with stunned silence..lol
i should be in the ad market buisness..

On the negative, I dont think the bottom right button fits the rest of the theme and I think you should look to develop an alternative take on the taskbar. You have the graphical talent and now the xml experience to pull off something more original.

im kinda scarred cuase you will pwn me at it.... but okay...
can i ask a favor though...
could you release it after i get my 15 min. of fame...
Of course I will take a look, I am in "work" tonight and have been itching for a new project.
What I meant by the wallpaper is to set something up in the config to allow users to specify a wallpaper for the theme, not sure how this will work for a page broken theme though but it will be fun to find out.
and thanks for letting me abuse it once i'm done

yeah that sounds fine...
cause i was thinking it would be cool to take a widescreen picture ... split it up into like 4 pieces and give each page xml the next piece... so it looks like the wallpaper scrolls....
good work=)
i m going to try them on my x1 to check if they run smoothly
looking forward to ur next works
If you are a Fan of the Lacuna theme...

lacuna lover
dear trekfan,
im so in love with lacuna. please continue developing it. its simplicity makes it special so stick to that. the scrolling wallpaper sounds great! i do agree with the posters above me regarding the improvements. also, it will be better if the link to the start menu can be customized to, let's say your favorite apps, or more pages. will love to test for more updates.
thanks!

[Android 2.2+][Update 1.5.1]SE Widget - Storage Space Widget [All Phones + Tablets]

Storage Ether Widget for Android Phone and Tablet
Update 1.5.1
New in Update 1.5.1
*** FINAL UPDATE ***
I have decided to give this dinosaur one final update to enable external storage reading on Android 4.4. Thank you everyone who has downloaded this little widget over the years, but I don't intend to develop further features for it anymore.
What's Changed
* READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, so that it can get the size of your SD Card on 4.4+
* Increased font size a little as average devices is pretty HD these days.
* Progress bars are now larger (as above).
Oh - Also. It's FREE.
*** SEWidget is now FREE ***
Thanks to everyone that has supported it over the years, unfortunately I have shown it no love and it never gained features, I did work on a Pie Chart view for a while (easter egg: find an activity launcher to check out .InfoView) but once Google started adding storage graphs to Android in Honeycomb, I didn't see the need for this feature. Now, the SD card is all but dead, this widget will soon have no use. While it still does, please enjoy the now free SEWidget.
Storage Ether Widget 1.5
Storage Ether Widget is a configurable storage capacity and usage indicator widget for Android phones and Tablets.
The widget gives the option to set any foreground and background colour using the integrated colour picker. Progress bar can be set to one of several colours.
You can choose to display all three, two or any one of the storage items on your widget or even use multiple widgets, with different settings.
If you have any problems, suggestions or feature requests feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help.
Widget now supports from Android 2.2 Froyo to Android 4.x
Please show your support by leaving a good rating on the market if you like the widget.

Just purchased your app, love supporting our devs. As I said on your other thread the only thing lacking is to be able to change the color of the green lines, then it would be perfect.

I'm working on it, it's a little difficult with the stock status bars because to customise them you need drawable xml's but I want to allow full colour selection like the font and background, once I get it working consistently i'll definately add that as a feature.
It looks at the moment though I may just end up creating custom progress bars.
thanks for this. ive been using the widget for storage ether 1 and 2 for a bit now. im getting the market version today.

No problem, hit me up with any suggestions on features or changes you would find useful in every day use.
thanks its useful
Neo, just got the widget and noticed I had to reboot before the option to add to my homescreen appeared.
Was the feature where when you clicked on the widget a breakdown of the storage was shown was removed. Now nothing happened when I click the widget.
Also. My lines are orange and all the screenshots show green. Didn't know if there was something wrong with mine. I have a US 3g zoom, rooted with tiamat hammerhead and oc'ed tachi kernel.
Widget looks good though.
What's the difference between the storage and data lines? They show the same for me

This is a different application my friend, this is SE Widget, it's just the widget from StorageEther and is configurable. The reason the bars are different is because it supports all phones from 2.3.1+ and so doesn't specifically specify the "holo" theme for tablets. I can add it as an option though if it's wanted but I intend to work on a custom progress bar implementation with any colour possibilities. As for it not showing up until reboot i have just tested on my XOOM, my Desire and my SGSII, on the phones it shows up immediately, on my 3.1 xoom I had to reboot, I will look into it.
Just a heads up, your website is typed wrong in the OP

Ha, thanks! It was done in a rush while i was 5 minutes late for dinner!
OK, good deal thanks for the quick response.
Lol
I hope the cancelled orders are because people are deciding to rob it as opposed to having problems downloading it etc, but some feedback would be nice
widget is working fine for me. its a staple of my homescreen set up.
Please show your support guys by leaving good ratings on the market, feature requests are also welcome.
Version 1.1 has just been released with progress bar colour options.
With your latest update a week ago or so the external storage won't show. I'm using a Xoom on 3.2. Sdcard is at /mnt/external1/, I enter that and it shows not present - any ideas? Thanks again.

That's strange, there were no changes to the storage code, it was all UI.
Can you try mounting at an alternative location? I'll look into it once I finish work today.
EDIT: Did you re-add the widget after update? The update would likely break it if you didn't because each widget is assigned an ID when it's added, if that's lost on update, the widget no longer has the correct path.
I've uninstalled it and reinstalled and I've cleared data and cache. I'm just really stumped, someone else on our forum, Xoom Forums, put the same location as I did and his shows the sdcard.

Yep, works on my xoom just fine too, that's very weird. Are you using the market version?
Can you use a file explorer to double check the SD card is there and maybe get a logcat?
