I am porting rom with new UI for swift but i have little problem ...

I think that is can It is based on CM7 and it was alerady ported to many HTC devices
I guess it's good for the diversity it indeed brings, but I really don't see myself ever "constraining" myself with an iOS GUI(I personally dislike it). I tried the rom, and like the look, but not the iOS idea. Still, keep up the good work.

Managed to compile a REAL FroYo Rom for the Legend based on the Android SDK.
It boots nicely... There is a BUT... The touchscreen is not recieving any input.. I can move around with the trackball... Need a programmer to make sure the trackball is working..
Anyone up for the challenge??????

OK I agree, We can look others device thread, like HERO at the first time it launch, they work together to develops it, and we can work on Legend together and write all improvement here and submit the fix file here for all cheft and users, no secret tweak or step or fix. Open it for everyone. Remember we are a minor user of Android here, and if we are not work together, the development will go slow.
As I follow in GENE and OPAL forum, they do like it, and now, there are a lot of ROM there. the target is to make compatible FROYO for Legend without bug, and I say "YES WE CAN"

I've just done a quick port deodex'd the files and made it bootable etc
WIFI and Mobile network not working, i started to fix wifi but i need to be doing other work so hopefully you guys can get it going but other then that everything else seems to be working as far as i know.
only way to get to recovery atm is adb
this is focused for dev's only, mobile network not working atm so don't flash unless you plan on testing/debugging/deving

why? on zte blade the mobile network issue has been solved with the replace of the apn config file
its not as easy as that because network files are lay'd out differently, also a lot of sprint propitiatory stuff it seems don't have any time atm to play around with it because got some more impotent things to do but thought i might as well let everyone else play with it.

yes but you'll need to reboot to recovery using adb, not really worth flashing though untill someone fix's mobile network

how about its base band?
can anyone upload system/app deodaxed apks anywhere?
because of its network mode(CDMA2000),i think it's the reason why wifi and network not working.or flash P970's base band can solve it?

Flashed successfully. But not opening.
JOY OS symbal comes, then repeats the symbol.
I wiped data and cache 2 times before and after installed the rom.

maybe price is an issue... you can buy like 5 or 6 mini's for the price of an iphone

Why hurts you that some1 is porting it> Somebody force you to flash it on your mini> Don't you think that this can bring us (comunnity) some adventages> Yeah dont try to update, man, think angin and listen: don't try to flash MIUI cause it have different GUI (not vmutch) than android. you can hate ios ports but the fact is the core of your system is still android....anyway it is just personal choice...
hello everybody . . would like to ask all of you . . is there any dev in our forum who try to built a custom rom that adapted from window phone 7 for our lovely x8 using any other cm7.1 or cm7.2 as based ? i mean a custom rom that have fully wp7 interface and apps , (not putting the window os into our android) lol:laugh: . . if there nobody , can someone try to make this custom rom ? i know there is a group of dev who owned the ability to built a lot of custom rom for us in this forum , so why not they try a different thing for this time . for me , it would be a pleasure if we can get the custom rom based on wp7 apps n interface also the animation. it will be awsome if our dev port this on our device coz (low,mid end device) like samsung galaxy mini n ace already have it . but i dont know if anybody else doesnt like this idea . just one of my little annoying idea . . so , if a dev willing to do this project , please inform me n i will help as much as i can do . . i'm not a dev , just noob friend who come with this annoying idea . sorry for my bad english . .

chill dude . . yea i know we just only can run android for our device , i didnt ask a dev to port window into our phone . . just make it fully window phone interface , not running the window os . . yes i see your tutorial how to make our phone look like wp7 . in i salute for your work . but , there a lot of people out there who dont really know to do it despite a tutorial has been provided . . just thinking if there any dev who has built a wp7 rom to make a noobie like us feel more free to use it . . thanks for the reply n your tutorial buddy . .

Buddy, porting window os inside our device is not the main point. It couldn't happen. Why don't you go to the 6th post, click the link n check it out. Hope you'll understand what I'm saying

Bro. Did you try to visit the link i attached at post #6. If you did i think you can see the main subject . We all know we cant port WP7 OS into our device so we just make it look like same as your tutorial but still have the difference . Yours a tutorial , us a custom rom . Feel me ?

so curently i am working on portng the most common roms to the D415 variant of our device and plan to develop them in this order

So cm has been compiled but isn't fully working. I found the problem in my past builds and will now use that to make fully working build for the d415 which will hopefully be done by tomorrow
Also. A lot of you are complaining when I don't get it done by the time I set. Which always says hopefully. Which means i don't know what life will hold and when I'll be able to work on it. And with the recent temporary loss of my linux I couldn't work till I got it back up and running. So please no hate when I don't make it on my estimated guidelines

i made an SH script that should grab all the fles i need then gzip them. all you have to do is run the scrpt as root with your phone conected and adb fully working on the device

It would be nice to CM 11 (4.4) in variants of LG L90, I have a D410 and do not really like the look of the LG interface.

Why? I like the UI of LG most! (Among all the stock ROMs...)
Anyway, I'll start learning about Android development and try porting ROMs...(although I don't have any experiences, so I'll need lots of help lol~)

I prefer a android with the cleanest and pure interface as possible, i like pure android interface, but worth the taste of each, sorry for my english, have a nice day!
