[Q] Awful SD speed's - LG Optimus 2x

Hi,
I'm on Totogigi's V1.9 and I've noticed in Antutu that the SD speed's are awful.
Toght it was the ROM so i switched to CM7_162 and same thing happened
Any ideias of why?

Maybe your SD card sucks?

And only sucks in CM_142 and TG1.9?
it didn't suck in the FR19...
If you don't know don't give stupid answers...
The internal has even worst speed values....

It was a valid answer considering you neglected to mention it performed better on other ROMs.
More info would be useful though. What card? What speeds?

internal Write 3.2 M/Read 6.4

I just got 6.7 write and 14.7 read testing the internal card with AnTuTu. That's with CM, not messed with.
Are you using any of the SD booster type apps?

Now with SD Speed increase app got 9.2/16.7
but the old speeds are not normal...
Kernel?

I'm using the CyanogenMod kernel.

Tested now with unmodified 1.9: 8.5/17.3 Problems on your side, dude. Not ROM related in any way...

Multiboot has anyone tried it??

Hey guys I was just thinking of doing a multi boot with my phone just wanted to make sure are there any bugs anyone noticed or it's just safe with single custom rom I have decided to do s multiboot please recommened

You need FAST SD card, class 6 at least to not having LAAAGS. Most cards are class 2...
it works.. a bit slow though even on a (supposedly) class 10 card I bought...
try it out with the steps from this thread..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151293&highlight=multiboot
I had stock rom running on the phone with gingerdx running from the sdcard... I ended up flashing gingerdx to the phone though as it was too slow for me on sdcard..
yeah, you need at least class 6... on my class 4 I have terrible lags and SD card was getting hot very quickly
I guess I should be happy with my single custom rom installed.. and do some tweaks within the rom

I used multiboot with class 4 SD, and there was no lags with it.

You can't increase the actual ram, but you can get SWAP. Erm SWAP is a partition that will be created on your SD card on which the users inactive processes will be moved. This will free up physical ram for the OS and the active applications
go to first link in my sig
Buy a better phone for more RAM..

[Q] SD Card reader is not recognized

Hi All,
Model: GT-7310
ROM: [JB-mr1/4.2.2] AOKP (latest March 5 build)
This is a nice ROM for the GT-7310. So far, everything works well, except the SD card reader (Model #: EPL-1PREBEGXAR) is not recognized. The SD card reader worked under stock ICS with no problems.
Is anyone else using this ROM (or CM10.1) having a similar issue? Is there way to get it working? Thanks in advance for any advice.

It's most likely an issue with the rom and there isn't a current fix. Cm10.1 is a work in process and all the bugs are not out of it. They may never be for you to use your external sd card, but you can try newer versions as that come out and maybe you'll get lucky.
What was best before sliced bread?

Thanks jd.
In the greater scheme, it's a minor strike against a really good JB ROM for this Tab. Hopefully though, a fix can be found and incorporated into future builds.

[Q] Memory Available After Flashing

now i see that my available storage is only 10.94GB is that normal?
i never checked how it was before but i know it suppose to be around 16gb am i wrong?
thanks in advance
Emy
Hi,
I'm on rxtreme 7.1 and use my external SD for anything I can. My phone storage is 10.92gb. I wouldn't worry about it
Hope you enjoy the rom, its a the best I've tried
Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk 2
Me too... but not a problem.. i think i9305 has slightly less available memory than i9300.. but normally any phones' available memory will always be less than stated by the company... like my 32gb sandisk memory card.. available memory is aroumd 29gb.. its normal so dont worry about it
Cheers!
