hi, i would like to root my VZW Gingerbread EF01 galaxy tab. i tried the ef01 rooted rom but i didnt like it. i tried gingerbreak and it didnt work, is there another way for 2.3.4?
I also tried z4 and that crashed

No she is running stock that she got with it, she won't let me root or anything, but I can't find how to update it.

In that case, if you want it done the completely official way, then use Samsung Kies to connect your phone to PC and update firmware from there directly.

First things first, I am a Noob.. I have an ATT LG Thrill 4G that a friend has given me. It's hardlocked. I was told that rooting and flashing the ROM to Factory Origin, would remove the hardlock. However, I have tried every way mentioned in all the threads, tried SuperOneclick, Megatron, Unlock Root Pro and a few others. However, my phone just does not want to root.. Any help/sugestions would greatly be appreciated.
