Default apn downloaded by phone itself cannot be deleted

Probably on a roaming network, not own network. Check settings. Roamingbdata usebis more expensive I think.
Check apn settings from your own provider
Or some app which disables it for power purposes.

If any apn exists, open and delete
Then from menu select restore default

Usually a powersaving app that deletes it as a workaround to disabling network on low battery. Whats your app list?

Ahh I think 3G watch dog stopped it. Removed the disable data thing restored APN all good again.

[SOLVED] Using Touchwiz mod I can receive MMS but can't send... Any suggestions?
Update: for those of you who run custom ROM's and have MMS issues this MIGHT fix your problem...
Go to phone>settings>additional settings>my phone number.
When you type in your number be sure to use this format 1112223333 DO NOT USE (111) 222-3333.
Doing this fixed my "can't send MMS" problem.

Try going to Settings>Wireless&Networks:More...>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names
Check to make sure all these settings are correct. Google, or XDA forum has a lot of post about correcting them.
My APN's are correct. I figured out I had to change the format of how my number was typed in order for the MMS' to go through...

actually no, your APN settings could indeed be set to only work for specific things. It is the first thing to check.
Then you can try other modems. After that, try clean flashing your ROM and finally check your sim card and with your carrier.

I have a sim provisioned for a tablet that I've always used in phones for a second data-only device. The Note 3 seemed perfect for this. However, when I go in to add the "broadband" apn it will not saved. I can put anything else in apn field and it will save but not broadband. Anyone ever seen anything like this and know any roms that would work?
