I flash the stock kernel (the same one that i used before)
I reboot my phone and it stuck at SE LOGO
Any ideas? thanx !
EDIT: now ... i flash linuxDX ... but i dont have service rigth now ... i cant make any calls or 3g ..or nothing ...
in status the phone says that have "UNKNOW BASEBAND" x_x
i try to flash this:
E15a_X8a_2.0.2.A.0.24_Baseband_006
E15a_X8a_2.1.1.A.0.6_Baseband_015
From the blagus tread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=976538)

But still have infinit bootloops x_x
you have to start over they are two ways to do
1 by flash your phone by SE pc suit or by flashtool see the below you will understand http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1011071 i "if i help you please don't shy to press thanks button"
i can help i think
hello. now this q made my day (also made me think)
now how did you install cwm. did it come with a rom
or did you do it manually.
usally when i restore using cwm i get the option of restoring with cwm or doing a restore tht has been saved on xrecovery
if this hasnt helped then quote this comment and i will do more to help you (i like answering q's)
Thanks guys for the help =D
ok finally i can flash stock kernel with latest baseband and latest update, and recover my old 2.1 ...
Y have 3G .. wifi .. everythings working perfect. . BUT ....
when i try to install a custom room with xrecovery the baseband set as "unknow" and i back to 2.1 cuz i dont have any service
why this happen ?
so just flash a basebandof x15 you have to search it in the xda for insalting a rom u should have x15 baseband

How to install:
1.Download the Escha Arch.
2.Copy Escha Rom onto SdCard.
3.Flash it

To outline the "rules of the ROM flashing game" to you guys...
- When you switch between ROMs:
You NEED to "Full Wipe (Factory Reset)" in the recovery or you will, very likely, end up in a boot-loop. This means the phone suddenly restarts either at the static logo (if the ROM has one) or during the animation (if the ROM has one).
- When you update the ROM currently in use to a newer version:
You MAY try to omit the Full-Wipe and proceed at your own risk (note that it's RECOMMENDED to Full-Wipe even at an upgrade). If everything works as intended you spared yourself some trouble. If you encounter weird "bugs" while using the ROM you better Full-Wipe and retry before posting an unfounded "bug report".
If the phone is stuck at the white Sony Ericsson boot logo, or restarts there, then something went terribly wrong while flashing the ROM ... most likely a bad flash. If there's no way to get into the recovery to re-flash the ROM then the only way out is to restore back to Stock ROM by Flashtool (or PCC/SEUS).

Never dealt with the Escha Arch ROM ... I don't feel like wanting to use a ROM which name I can't pronounce or spell without having a reference from where I can copy/paste its name.

[Q] Bootloop after flashing Achotjan-Semc-Debrand-Engine-V1.0_Final_E15i

Hello xda developers,
I have searched in your whole forum but i can´t find a solution for my problem.
I´ve rooted my x8, installed xRecovery, Rootexplorer and installed a android 2.2.1 custom rom. Everything worked. Then i decided to install the Achotjan-Semc-Debrand-Engine-V1.0_Final_E15i. I did a factory reset, wipe cache, dalvick and battery stats. Then i flashed the rom.
Problem: While rebooting i got a bootloop. Even worse: i don´t get back in the xrecovery menu !!! I pushed the back button nearly 100 times but it doesen´t work.
Question: How can i get back in the xrecovery ?
Because you need nAa kernel and you need to flash the ROM in CWM recovery.

THX for your fast answers. That was my fault. I´m a noob
Where can i get the nAa Kernel ?
Found it !

I have a problem mounting SD Card

So , i rooted my X8 yesterday and then installed CWM. Everything went fine (I was following tutorials made here - awesome work by the way)
then when i loaded 3 custom roms , i went to CWM made a backup , formated cache , data , system and then when i tried installing them i got the error 7. ive seen that its a common error. So after that , i couldnt load the phone and it was stuck in "Sony Ericsson" screen forever. couldnt load CWM aswell. Then i flashed the original ftf and it booted normally. rooted again and installed CWM. Next thing , i flashed 2.6.29.6-nAa-jb-03 Custom jb kernel. Everything went fine , then i formated data , cache and system. But when i tried to load the Roms it couldnt mount sd card.
So now i can neither install a rom nor restore the phone.
Can someone help me ?
(by the way , phone stays at nAa Freedom Within screen. or the CWM )
What's the point in flashing that kernel?

re insert the sd card, i too have experienced this problem many times, try it mate
Okay , so i tried inserting it again and again. nothing really changed.
Gogeta to be honest , im a total newb @ these things i just started readin about custom roms rooting e.t.c
So , can you tell me why i didnt need to flash that kernel?
i mean i wanted to instal MiniCM10 and the requiremenents were these
Requirements:
Latest 2.1.1.A.0.6/2.1.1.C.0.0 SE firmware / Baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015
Unlocked bootloader
Latest version of the 2.6.32 nAa JB kernel
latest not old, naa05 is the latest

Oh , so that would be the problem right?
How do i fix this? i need to flash the original tft then root again - install recovery - unlock using s1tool and then flash the latest nAa?
Thank you by the way.
you can enter recovery so you can flash the new version by wiping data cache and system, but first, is your sd card formatted? format it first to avoid those problems
