[Q] Missing root certificates need thawte Premium CA cert - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

how can I have root certificate installed? It seems that I don't have any installed on my N1, can't seem to complete the authentication process. The simplified guide is not useful when root certificate is not installed in the first place.

Installing certificate on XDA II i

Hi all,
In order to get email push technology on my XDA, I need to install the Equifax Secure Global eBusiness CA-1 certificate (at least according to the guy who helps me with my IT needs).
The problem is that the XDA tells me "Security permission was insufficient to update your device".
Does anyone know a work-around?

Trouble with trusted certificates?

I am trying to run a program that a friend gave me when he upgraded phones.
I have a T-Mo MDA with the latest T-Mo USA ROM on it.
Whenever I try to run the app, I get th efollowing message:
The file cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file.
I verified that all the files are there, and everything is in one directory. How can I alter/add "trusted certificates"? Do I need to unlock my phone for it to run?
Thanks!
With a simple click of the "Search button" I found THIS topic. Read over it.

try the registrywizard, available on this forum or try:

Thanks guys,
I found the following, however I am stuck at step 1. Can either of you assist with issuing a "Code Signing Certificate"?
Sorry, I guess I am a bit more nube than I thought...
FYI - Registry Wizard has no effect... Says my device has AKU 2.3.0 and some options will be diabled? However, "Disable Security Warnings" is checked. I applied and soft reset, still no love...
Yes I tried it and it works!
1.First you have to issue a Code signing certificate:
- Add a code signing template using Certification Authority snap-in
- Issue a code signing certificate
2. Download and Extract code signing tools:
http://ftp.intron.ac/pub/security/ra...signingx86.exe
3. Run signcode.exe on WM5 executable file using the certificate you created earlier.
4 Copy executable file to WM5 device

How to add a certificate on WM6.1 ?

I know it is maybe very stupid question but really how can I add a certificate so I can use my on-line banking.
thanks in advance.
I know you can double-click .CER files and they will be imported to the Certificate settings. I added my Equifax SSL certificate that way, it shows up under "Intermediate" certificates.
thanks - it worked !!!

Bypass Intune Company Portal Root Check

Hi,
I am forced to install Intune Company portal app which in-turn will allow us to use company email on phone, with magisk 15.3, this app is still able to detect root my phone, safety net check is bypassed, I had to activate this app as device administrator.
I have hidden root from this app in Magisk, still this app is able to find my device as rooted, I did search other posts, the only solution proposed was to change directory permission for magisk folder, but that was for Outlook, not sure if that will work for Intune Company portal app.
Has anyone faced this issue and found solution for it ?
Thanks,
G

Look at the part talking about tasks.zip file and set it up. Supposedly this works good luck

This 'solution' above is not working (for many people). Here is a working solution:

Anyone help, how to hack/Crack platforms (Online money making)
If nothing works, try this,
Download the attached file (based on @mepsnet's file)
Create a file (HttpCanary.jks) on HttpCanary data folder
/data/data/com.guoshi.httpcanary.premium/cache/HttpCanary.jks
Click to collapse
If you couldn't find the path above, try this path instead,
/data_mirror/data_ce/null/0/com.guoshi.httpcanary.premium/cache/HttpCanary.jks
Click to collapse
Hope this helps
