Hey just a heads up on your download link. When you click it, the page fails. It looks like it says "http://https://"....
Easy fix to get to download, just had to take off the "http://".
Looks sweet. Downloading now.

Ah, thanks. Fix'd.

Sorry stupid question.. but does the stock droid 3 have that drop-down notification bar or did you add it in this rom?

Hell yes! I've been waiting to see what this was gonna look like. Downloading now.
@Double - He added it.

Can't wait to try this out after work

Ok, I thought it was android specific... or is it samsung galaxy specific?

I'm not sure if it's only for the SII. I think, may be imagining it, I've seen it on some HTC phones but not 100% sure.
Anyways, looks great! I forgot if you mentioned this in the first page, but you should theme the dialer, that'd look sweet.

im pretty sure it's just packaged w/ touchwiz. the pulldown power widget thing, that is

The theme is largely a WIP. That or a fix for video will be the next update.

I am unable to download zip to my phone... any reason why?
Thanks

HTC Car Panel App drawer restore (more restored apps coming soon!)

Here is the HTC ThunderBolt car panel restore, this should also work on any other HTC device with car panel originally installed.
The point of this update is to add the Car Panel back to the app drawer so you DON'T have to buy a car dock just to use the car panel app, and you don't have to go into System/app just to turn it on.

Instructions:
1. Use ROM manager to Reboot into recovery
2. In Clockwork go to "Mounts/Storage"
3. Mount System
4. Go back one screen, choose "Install ZIP from SD card"
5. After install, reboot.
Enjoy!
NOTE: This method must be done until Clockwork Mod gets updated for ThunderBolt, its glitchy right now that won't auto mount system when you install a ROM or update.zip's.
I have more restore apps coming soon!
and maybe some themes?
You can just search for it on the phone and it'll come up in the search results. TY though.
Actually the thunderbolt's car panel app already shows up in the drawer by default, guess that's not the case on other devices.
Sent from Thunderbolt.
I don't get it, I already have a "Car Panel" app in my drawer. What does this do? I'm running the debloat rom.
My TBolt no longer has this app after using the debloat...
Thanks!

I am running the stock Rom, bro. Just manually removed what sense stuff I didn't want and run LPP.
Any way to get the HTC Smoke Live Wallpapers to run on nonSense roms?
I've re-signed and I can get it to run, but if FC's when I go into settings.

I think that's it. I'm running LPP too, the stock Sense launcher probably hides the app from the drawer, lpp doesn't.
City ID
I know most people hate this but can you figure out a way to get city id back on the debloat? Every time I try and install it is says app not installed. I tried to figure out a way to do this like all day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, this never showed up in my app drawer on the stock ROM... Until now!

No, as long as you can find it when you go to install it with Clockwork Mod Recovery.
I found its easier to make a folder with a symbol in front to make the folder always appear at the top of the list, then put your mods in there.
example #mods or _Themes It will always appear at the top of the folder list then
Ok I flashed it twice now. Once from rom manager and once from clockwork both times it completed successfully . When I go to apps its still not there. Any ideas. Im not running a costume rom.

Are you mounting System before you flash? in the new Clockwork Mod Recovery you always have to do this because of a glitch, hopefully it will be fixed since installing mods through ROM manager also doesn't work anymore because of the system not mounting automatically.
let me try that...
Thanks that worked..
My T-bolt came with the car panel stock. It might not in newer releases but mine did.

This is a simple settings app which has been integrated into TSMParts. It currently offers the following features: (1) the ability to show or hide adb (debugging) notification; (2) the option to enable or disable the media scanner for faster boot time, etc; (3) manage cwm (reboot recovery, backup/restore, delete backups, and flash packages) from within the app.
Requirements
- Rooted, EC01/ED01, TeamSbrissenMod Froyo based framework (all of the most recent tw based roms are using TSM frameworks).
- CWM 3.0+ (there is no support for older versions of CWM). The backup/restore portion of the app will only work with CWM 3.0.x
- There is a script that is flashed into /system/bin that requires read+write+execute permissions to function correctly. If you are going to include this in your rom/theme/whatever, you need to make sure your updater.script has something like this...
Code:
set_perm(0, 2000, 0755, 0755, "/system/bin/psykdup");
Instruction
- Download zip, place on sdcard, flash in recovery. Very simple.
Credits
- This relies heavily on a script created by nitr8 for the i9000 to disable/enable media scanner. It only required slight modification to work with our device. Big thanks to him for doing most of the work.
- Koush for CWM. My classes simply invoke classes he created to allow for backup/restore/recovery funtionality. CWM is truly a work of genius and is something we should all be thankful for.
- TSM (specifically Sbrissen) ... others I have not mentioned....

Downloaded, flashed, seemed to work. Found the settings, but when I tried to uncheck the media scanner box, the settings go to black screen. And now when I try to go into the extras tab, I get a black screen and the home button is the only way to get out. Rebooted and phone froze.

It is attempting to request su (superuser) permissions. I'm assuming you are rooted and have su installed??? If not, that is prolly your problem.

This happens after I grant it su permission. Got back in after reboot, and checked it back to run media scanning, all seems well now although I have no wallpaper until I unlock the screen whereas it was always behind my 4 tab before.
Comm Rom 1.3, sunder's PrYde theme and everything works as described. Wallpaper on lockscreen and all.
Pretty neat.
when browsing through folders to flash a theme it only allows you to go 1 folder deep on the sd card. other then that works great.

[BOOTANIMATION] Plain, Simple & Colorful + color variants inside!

Hi,
I stumbled upon a nice, clean-looking gif animation while browsing the web, and decided to turn it into a bootanimation for my Nexus S. It took some time to dissect the gif, fiddle with the frames a bit and put this altogether, so I decided I would share it (in case you might like it )

}
This bootanimation should work on any HDPI 480x800 px device.
Installation:
1. Root Explorer > copy this bootanimation.zip > go to \system\media > mount R/W > paste & replace existing bootanimation
2. ADB > adb push <your path>\bootanimation.zip \system\media
3. Recovery flashable > put "bootanimation[FLASHABLE].zip" on your sdcard > enter custom recovery > install .zip form sdcard > reboot system now
And as always, remember to make a nandroid backup before doing anything!
Credits go to the original .gif author, although I have no idea where this pic came from - it just happened to be on my HDD
NOTICE: If you find yourself having a nice, good-looking gif/animation that you would like to see on your device as a bootanimation - don't hesitate to post here! I'm willing to test my image editing skills and fulfill your requests
Reboot and enjoy!

EDIT: Scroll down for some more bootanimation goodness!
pretty cool man! reminds me of firefox for some reason lol
EDIT: New versions arriving! All made flashable via recovery for your convenience
Example:
Cool Blue
Versions available [Click on the name to see a single frame]:
Cool Blue
Faded
Grayscale
Green
Magenta
Cool Magenta
Installation [SEE POST #1]:
1. Flash via custom recovery - the update script will also print out the name of the version you just flashed.
The "Cool Blue" animation fits my ICS theme, but I'm still working on making a pure ICS versions. Although, this is a bit more sophisticated, I would would be thankful for any tips from graphic designers (I'm not a designer myself)

Can't wait for the update. I have a ton of boot animations lol. I use an app called BootRandimations which as you can guess, chooses a random boot animation whenever you reboot. You just add the animation to the app file and let it do it's thing.

If you have been around for a while, you are familiar with the "M" series.
If not, then welcome to "M"!
This revision of "M", M12, is a giant leap from where M11 ended.
A special thanks goes out to Vipitus, without which this rom would not have been possible.
M12 Stats:
Based off of Private Stock, M9 and M11
KB5 Base, Kernel and Modem
Accurate 100/100 battery
Built to compliment the QQ/Miui Launcher.
Freaking awesome UI
Droid Charge system sound scheme and start up animation
Built and rebuilt everything
Moshiach Tweaks
Beats Audio
Nine Lock Screens
Clock Options
All Vibrant features function as they are intended.
Theme Engine - comes with 6 themes pre installed - I will provide more as requested.
Install and Set Up:
Odin to JFD first if coming from GB or ICS
Flash M12.zip
Reboot.
At first start up, choose Miui as your default launcher.
Give it a chance to settle in.
Set up your Google account.
Connect to the Google Play Store to receive any updates.
Boot to recovery and flash themes_signed.zip.
Reboot and rejoice!
Disable Voodoo before flashing.
Download both if you want the themes installed with this.
Download Rom - Amend CWM Script - 178.77MB - http://www.mediafire.com/?88iq6uz6nqwrlir
Download Theme Pack - Edify CWM Script - 43MB - http://www.mediafire.com/?u34flms6i9mge65

If you are not living in Asia, you will want to remove the weather widget from the home screen as it will only deliver weather from Asia.
If you scroll left one screen from the home screen you will see 2 folders with Chinese names, just rename these as you would on an iPhone.
Reserved for Themes and Tweaks
Do a search for "QQ Launcher Theme", if you find a theme you want, link me to it and I will port it to work with this build.
I will be posting a theme template for those who want to contribute their own themes for this.
And the awesomeness begins... very nice!!!
Man, your gonna may me lazy.
Is this 2.2 or 2.2.1? Also, is there any bugs associated with the MIUI launcher?
edit: looking at the build.prop this is 2.2, for those that want to know
Thanks Jellette, you always made my favorite ROMS. I was so bummed when you left. I appreciate your work a lot! B-)
Does this rom have T-Mobile WiFi calling?

Thanks! Can't wait to try it
Love M series the first time around. Kept it for a long time. Getting hard to settle with all the work you are bringing back, thanks.
Quick question.
Since I am on a froyo the sequence I would follow would be
wipe
Flash rom
All your other steps
then flash the themes zip in CWM
reboot
Is that it?
I see below the instructions the two files and the theme pack is listed as an edify script do I also need to run that script with a script manager?
Wow, Looks Awesome Can't wait to give this a try!
Nice!!! Welcome back Heathen!!!

I flash all the time but this one is smooth enough i might just stay here for a while...love the theming and wallpaper. ..thanks man

It's an element of the Droid Charge. For fun.
Thank you, how did you know I went back to froyo? Haha
Two questions, if I remember right, deleting the voodoo folder from the root of your sd card and rebooting will disable it right?
Lastly, does it supports FFC?

You can disable Voodoo from within Recovery w/voodoo kernel or put a blank file named "disable-lagfix" in the folder
