if u have lags just try to reflash, it takes 1 hour only to flash and restore =)

Yes, boot into cwm flash theme then flash fix before turning your phone back on otherwise you'll be stuck on the samsung screen

Very informative, love this. Only thing is that maybe you should highlight or use a different color for the titles for different firmwares, like AOSP or DL09.
I created/ported skins for HTC Sense 2.1 (Gingerbread) roms and decided to share my work. Since Gingerbread HTC Sense 2.1 skins are no longer cross device compatibile, these skins are for Thunderbolt 4G, Incredible S, Desire Z and Desire S latest OTAs.

A: I am doing this to please you all. If someone want to thank me, then at the bottom of every post is "THANKS" button, so it's not necessary to post 'thanks posts', keep thread clear. But from other side it's also very motivating for me
Q: How to install skin?
A: Well, just install (download skin, move it to phone's SD card and with any file manager install it).
Q: How to uninstall skin?
A: Go to Skin Picker (menu where you are choosing skins), press "Menu" button and choose "Delete" option.
Q: Statusbar icons/date are still visible after they are turned off (ghost effect).
A: It's a rom related problem, not fault of the skin. You need to push modified SystemUI.apk & framework-res.apk: go to http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/ and the only mod you want is under the 'Status bar' bookmark, tick 'Enable transparency in status bar' and click 'Generate preview'. Go to 'File upload' bookmark and in 'upload your own files' upload SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk and com.htc.resources.apk from your rom. When your's three files upload to the site go to 'Summary' bookmark, click 'Submit work to kitchen', wait till site cook it and download your now flashable .zip file. Flash it via Clockwork Recovery. Now transparency in all skins will be ok.
Q: Why flip clock don't flip?
A: When flipping animation is on flip clock is using some stock white .pngs for it that are placed in the rom. When clock in the skin is changed then for flip animation the same stock .pngs are used which resulting in glitches. That is why every skin with stock clock will have enabled flip animation and those skins with custom clocks will not.
Q: Why skin is not changing all .pngs that I want?
A: Skins have limited capability in theming look of rom - this is the downside compared to flashable theme. For pros: skins are easy to create, they're covering most of the look of rom, they're light, you don't need root, they're quickly changeable (don't need to reset).
Q: Why skin is downloading as ".bin" file?
A: Because you are using browser in your phone to download skin. Use your PC browser to download or use XDA official Android app and download via it.
Q: I created my skin and after installation it restarts whole system or some stock apps.
A: Check each of .pngs if they are properly named. Couple of times for me skin was restarting whole system because I had double spacebar in one of the names of one .png.

The Gingerbread skin didn't work for me. Running BAMF Remix 2.0 b5.
I have tested several different ones and they all work with Gingeritis v1.0, but still having issue with the transparency. I went to the UOT kitchen cooked up the file as you instructed. Flashed it, but still getting the ghosting with all the skins that I have downloaded. I have tried about 5 of them. Then skins look great until I use the pulldown and then the date and everything is ghosting in the notification bar. Same thing when I use things like the browser. Any other idea on how to fix that?? I know the file I created with UOT worked and it showed in recovery when i flashed it that it went fine, but still having the issue??
Yay finally! But yes the transparency is still a problem, and UOT doesnt help
tried distinction inversion and both the standard installer and astro can't install. will try some others tomorrow.

If skins don't work, please specify your rom (preferably give link to it), how you downloaded skin (PC browser, phone browser, XDA app or other) and any other useful info.

I recently flashed a different (but very similar) sense 2.1 ROM called Nils Business Gingersense and ran the fix from UOT and the problem was resolved. It still doesn't work on the latest Synergy nightly though.

Which means that some frameworks for Incredible or Thunderbolt are supported by UOT Kitchen and some are not. Tell about this in your rom thread, because it is a rom problem, not the skin.

Ok tried with Bamf since Gingeritis was having the ghost issue that could not be fixed. Same problem. So skins install great, but there is no way to get rid of the ghosting issue. I understand it is not the fault of the skin, and it is a ROM issue. Oh well. Guess these will be a no go until later down the road when fixes can be made..

downloaded via phone and via pc, phone is stock, just received yesterday. After downloading, it renames the file to .bin with no filename if downloaded from the phone, so downloaded to pc, transferred to my phone and still would not install, says cannot be installed as an apk.

I don't know, because these are the app.apk and the framework-res.apk of the NSCollab!
Maybe only a few of these apk files can work on CM7! (the same app.apk that you can find in gapps works surely)
Give me the link of the ROM, so I can make the theme for it too!

Firstly, many thanks to Kalagas for allowing me to post this. i appreciate now what goes into theming a whole rom and it would have taken many days and hours, and lots of photoshopping, and i thank all people who make mods or develop rom's as its all on their free time. All i have done is decompile apk's and copied the drawables and xml's across and made a handful of new icons. This is my way of giving back to the community that i have taken so much from, i hope you like it!

have you checked the MD5 check sum? 9668a9f082812ef7a65d65562c2431be check it in recovery
if it is the same, i'd either goto applications>all>htc sense>clear data and force stop>push home or reflash arhd 6.3.3 again over the top and reflash the theme again

no, no ultrasmooth rosie yet, but it is coming and so is tweaks. if you flash tweaks you'll lose the themed rosie, settings, framework-res etc etc.
i have been working on it, so hopefully not too long.:laugh:

i'm not far off updating to v0.4......but......with tweaks at the moment if i allow the status bar and notification bar mods within tweaks, it breaks the animated data arrows and puts the battery status into error. so if i stop these mods all works except the charging symbol. what do you guys want from it?
i personally dont care much for the status and notification bar mods, or though i like quicksettings, but i do care about the battery icon....
please give feedback!
