I asked the powers that be for one last week, but so far no word back from them. There are a few post here if you dig for them.
There is a very active board over at Androidcentral dedicated to our Marquee.

Has anyone who has received this phone gotten a chance to try the wiimote? I am aware of it not working on the 2x but the G2x is running a plain jane Android OS version and that might make a difference.

seriously chill out. When I posted this Q they hadn't even moved any of the other G2x Q's over. Also goto the main page of XDA forums and the "T-Mobile G2x" forums are not showing up so there is no way to know of the new forum for it, seems the only way to get to it right now is through the moved threads in this forum.

Well, a lot seems to be stemming from not having 2.3 yet. Once GB is released for the Revo, I would expect to see a land slide of ROMs and the like come down the pipe. Another problem is, as stated by someone else in another thread, that there are a ton of Android phones out now and this one is still very new. I'm holding out; with the great work already put into this phone, only even better things are surely to come.
Unfortunately, once 2.3 is released for the Revo, the Revo2 will be close with 2.3 as the default. Hopefully the devs don't jump to the 2 instead...

That site is not the only one. ATT did make the announcement but i cant find anywhere that they gave a timeframe. Just that it will be an OTA update. The fact that they even made the announcement tells me that it might be coming soon...which is actually the complete opposite of how I thought they were going to handle it

I just hit AT&T up on their facebook page with this. See what they respond.
Lol they called 2.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and 2.2 Gingerbread.
I just might be able to survive until the end of the year or beginning of next year for a tmobile Prime if ICS is released for the Nexus S fairly quickly. Maybe. Assuming there actually is some Verizon exclusive for a few months.

Hey all, I know a ton of G2x folk (both Canada & U.S) will be upgrading to this phone. Just wondering if (in the future 2-3 weeks) if you could post speedtests, comparing old speeds with the p999 to now (future) with the Nexus 4! Waiting to see some dc-Hsdpa+ goodness :good:
Also remember, this uses a Microsim, not the g2x's regular sized sim!
(sorry if wrong section)(got this idea after seeing the Galaxy S thread. Maybe make this the chat for the ex-g2x/p999 owners?

Theres no way in hell Google, lets LG announce a new nexus device before google does itself, also no way in hell that Google lets LG halt Nexus 4 production when the phone is only 2 months old that barely anyone has...There would be such a sh*tstorm if this happened.

Even though this rumor is trash. I wouldn't put much weight into anything these csrs say, as we've learned through this whole Nexus 4 fiasco. Even that e-mail is a variation of their generic response.
