Any ProPlayer Mods?? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just discovered playerpro and it's actually very impressive and lots of usefull features like the lockscreen etc. But its missing one crucial tweak that the stock samsung player has which is the ability to control my music in the notification bar.
It looks like we need to mod the samsung framework to get this feature back, just wondering if there is any mods/hack that would let me play/pause and switch tracks from the notification bar with playerpro.
Yes i know i can use the widgets etc, but the notification bar goes on top of everything I.E i can be in the browser and pull down the notification bar switch tracks and be on my way.

bump anyone have a solution?

Samsung Galaxy S Notification Bar [notif bar with menu]

Hey I own a Nexus One.. I love my phone... I like how Samsung took the empty space on the bar and used it in a clever way by add the Wifi, Bluetooth controls there. I was wondering if there was a way to port the notification bar or add the wifi, bluetooth controls embedded in the Notification bar, without change our room and kernel
No, there isn't.
And there are zillions of older and newer ROMs that have this particular modification.
There are apps that add the controls to the notification pull down menu. Can't remember the names on top of my head.
CyanogenMod rom has this option.

[Q] Substitute for notification bar ?

OK, for some reason I want to get rid of the notification bar, but don't want to loose any functionality, so I need a substitute for what it does. So far I found :
- toggles : widgetsoid. I'm sure there's a lot of widget that does this, but this one is nice and does what I want.
- battery level and Wi-Fi / 3G strength indicators : widgetsoid does propose that again, but I like the icons less. Maybe I'll buy the alternative icons (default ones are free), or find an alternative.
- notifications : that's where it does get tricky. Is there any widget that just displays notifications from the notification bar ? I know Nova Launcher Prime allows icons to displays a number of messages / missed calls / unread mails, etc, but I'm not sure it can cover every notification from the bar.
- anything else I'm missing from the notification bar ?
Thanks
Isn't there a feature on Nova launcher to hide the status bar ? I remember being able to do this on my SGS1 and all i had to do to get it back was swipe down the screen, Then when i swiped it back up it would disappear.
As for totally removing it, I dont know if its possible as you would have to dig deep into the framework and a lot of the system requires it.
On paranoid android you can remove the notification bar, or keep it at the bottom
My english is not very good, sorry I was not clear. My problem is not to hide the status / notification bar (nova allows this, no problem). The problem is find widgets or other workarounds to get the functionalities (toggles, notifications, clock, battery level indicator, etc) of the notification / status bar since I won't use it at all. To be more precise, I'll be using a TW based custom ROM at 213 DPI, so notification bar won't appear at all.
StatusBar+ - Custom Status Bar vPetunia download it from Google play its very
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Thanks for the statusbar+, although it does not exactly what I want...I guess I'll stick with phone mode.

[Q] Lockscreen issue

Since the last update I've a lockscreen issue when I'm listening to music through Walkman app, moreoever I lost the lockscreen walkman widget and sent mail to Sony about it and they said this widget is not going to come back.
Anyway I tried to download different types of lockscreens but especially Xperia Z1-ZU's. But whenever I load a new lockscreen my lockscreen changes to a different lockscreen. It looks like the Nexus one: A circle that has google now navigation bar background I mean the dots and a opened lock on the right. I want to change my lockscreen to Xperia Z1's, how can I do that?

issues with app notification

Hi, I have been facing the unique problem of notification not seen for few apps..it is not for all but just few. Few apps like financial express, cricbuzz etc. doesn't show notification on the device.. is there any solution? I have seen the notification access and it is allowed from my side..
I have the same problem with Duo Lingo
Are you just not getting a notification icon?
If so, I think you might to look for the thread on how to remove some icons on the notification bar, to allow space for notification icons, I removed, various ones, such as Bluetooth on notification, dnd notification, various others to make space on the notification bar as it was just full of phone setting app icons.... A real waste of space...

So notification doesn't come from this apps..for example, cricbuzz should show a match result etc...which is shown in other mobiles but not on play..

Change navbar & statusbar DPI

Hi there, I've tried to change the phone's DPI, but there's something weird...navbar, statusbar and shortcuts panel do not change with the rest of the interface! Looks like these elements cannot be modified, even with adb commands.
Has someone tried to do this thing too? Not a big issue, but the shortcuts' panel is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big for me.
No one?
I'm interested to know too. The notification bar is ridiculously tiny and there seems no way to resize it so it's easily readable.
I'm now using widgets just so i can see the time and battery power. Using a launcher that shows notifications on the apps on my home screen too.
Never had a problem like this with my pixel 2. Notification bar was legible out of the box
