No we can't. We can't use SEMC Apps, since it's need sony firmware.
try to seach on xperia device sections.
that's not sms app, that's timescape, search google and you'll find it
Go to themes and app for galaxy mini already there, but i'm not tested to use

Well but thats possible to use that timescape in our device, but like you said, it need semc framework so it need rooted device.

Well this will prove it, its my galaxy mini
I just don't like some widgets like the picture one because they are very small. The green bar you see on top is the space it uses.
I most love is the weather widget.
All this widgets need Xperia S launcher. If anyone needs, post up here, I have all the collection.
Thanks to the OP, you revived my memories with xperia. Now I will re-theme my device soon

You can't make a "mod" to make your phone a WP7 therefore you can't port it. You must find a ROM especially designed like a WP7 (which there isn't) or use themes and apps like WP7. Go to Xperia X8 Themes and Apps. There's a tutorial about this. Should be the 6-7 thread.

In case you haven't seen the Xperia Z's lockscreen, the UI is really nice.
I really want this to be available on our beloved phone so I don't have to envy the Xperia Z.
The lockscreen has been ported to many other phones and here is a link to the one for the galaxy s.
It is also included in many Galaxy s3 roms

I'm not sure but I think you need the file XperiaUXPLockscreen.apk or whatever the filename is 1st... Posting the said APK in this thread is a good start than making a plain request... Some modders are way too lazy download a whole ROM and try extracting an FTF.

I couldn't find anyone else talking about this, so figured I'd start a thread.
The release notes about the 4.3 updates contain this snippet:
"The launch of our unique custom interface experience: “Xperia Themes”, with downloadable UI packs from Sony Select – more on this soon…"
I spotted this post on Xperia blog, which shows some screenshots, and links to the themes on the Play Store

Looking at the screenshots, it looks like the theme has a fair bit of control - for example the software buttons are skinable, which is pretty neat

Had a conversation with someone on Google plus, about these themes,
"I reached out to one of the theme developers. They told me they have a great relationship with Sony and at this time all themes had be sent to sony for approval and to be signed by them. Which is a drag. I hope they plan to open that up soon, but it appears that its going to be locked down to them for a while. I'll keep digging and see if I can get a hold of sony and talk to them."
Thought it might be interesting.
Would be nice if Sony could use XDA themers to beta test, but if not it would be nice if they created a program to make them, in the same way that the go launcher devs did for their launcher.

I'm not sure for XZ but Z1 got new theme engiene with 4.3 update and they are awesome.
It's very easy to decompile them and change png's and have your own, custom theme....

Yes buddy right and all Z series wil get the same theme engine
I have seen urs tutorial and m.working on it zipsigner its the best tool for signing it

If you go to the XistenZ thread and ask @niaboc79 he will be able to give you the help you need as he's done all the accent theme colour changes before.

blurry covers
Since updating to this via OTA, I've noticed all my music covers have gone really blurry/low quality! Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix? Really bugging me..

It looks quite saturated to me on your picture - like it does on mine I find it's worse on any texts of the cover if you look closely, it's hideous & not good for my OCD haha..
I uninstalled back to the version before this though & it looks so much smoother again, so staying with it
I do have an unrelated question though - I'm using ifont to change my system font but noticed it doesn't change the actual text within walkman, it works for everything else (apart from inside twitter too), do you know how to fix this/why it doesn't affect walkman? Or a better way to install fonts perhaps? Thanks!

Thanks but you misunderstood what I asked, I already have the font I wsnt, I meant it doesn't change in walkman app. And believe me, I wouldn't be asking if I wasnt stuck - I ALWAYS use the search function!!

No i undertand you but some fonts dont make the changes in walkman, album etc and the link from those fonts let you change all then fonts and also in walkman etc.

EDIT: Well I realised I already had sony sketch which is in the list & it doesn't work ;( maybe it's because I'm using an app & not doing it manually etc..?

Well delete it then by tap DELETE !
Or use any file manager and delete it from there from the folder you put it

That would be a great idea also (Y) I know the way he talked about deleting the song Temperley but I needed to delete it for good also from within the player
