I'm using a full functioning rom except that I can't get into the themes store do you think that you could upload a theme from the store I'm getting tired of the palazzo, nest (what's up with the creepy birds looking at you) and so fourth. Please and thankyou

Does anyone know how to make custom themes?

It's different then normal themes. I tried to make them but if you change one thing it won't accept it or it won't show the png you change

What is the web address to download themes? My phone keeps saying that the webpage is not available.

I cannot access it from anywhere other than the phone though.

I realized that you have to have wifi off to access the theme site. My wifi is always on and that's why it never worked for me.

That sucks there is probably a way around this but I don't know you might have to at least have tmobile service and your buildprop must say that your phone is the tmo slide.
On another note lyrical ink is badass.

You can change your lock screen picture by going into galary, picking a picure, click menu>set as>lock screen. re-size it and save!

Huh? oh I think you misunderstand or I mistyped I don't have a mytouch slide I'm using a rooted hero with a mytouch slide rom on it. Everything works like a slide but I can't access the themes store. So me and anyone who's using the rom are hoping that people will upload the apks for us.

Happens to the best of us especially when I drink Kinda curious how do they run the themes setup? Nevermind got the answer

just gonna throw a suggestion out there you should put the name of the theme next to the preview and post my link to the themes that way people can get what they want would be cool to have it in the g1 section too

Attached are two versions:
bootanimation_v1 is like the animation shows, the... swishy thing only goes one direction.

bootanimation_v2 the swishy thing goes both directions. I was just too lazy to make another animation for it.

How do I do that? I noticed that the resolution isn't that good on my phone (Droid) compared to what it should be... like when I look at it on my computer. I think there's some compression... but don't know how to fix that.

I've never done a bootanimation before, but I do know that in order to be hi def (nexus one, incredible, etc) the images should be 800x480. Right now the images are 455x256 which is almost half as what they should be so that's why the resolution isn't very good. I don't remember from the top of my head what the resolution for the Droid is but I can assure you its not 455x256 either. Once all the images are changed to the correct resolution, then just change the size in the desc file and it should work.

Haha. Welcome. I wasn't sure it was going to work. I did have it through the Tonido file share thing... but it doesn't work when my computer is off. So... had to think of another way. Haha.

Based on the the Bruce and Polkadots walls it looks like you have stumbled across my Picasa account or my post in the vibrant forum, because those are both my edits.
If you have access to my Picasa why not just share that, if you dont then there are plenty more like those above. Most of them are Black and White and heavy on the black side. The link is for my hot girls folder, but there are several other folder in the main account.

Perhaps the 1-5 million users who installed MoDaCo's Camera Launcher for Nexus 7?
And the 500,000-1 million who installed gabenative's Nexus 7 Camera Starter?
I am really curious as to who would rather not have the ability to use the camera on a tablet when the need arises and fails to understand why others would want to be able to...

Third party apps I said was apps like 'CameraZoomFX', 'Igcamera' and others.

You can't even take pictures with it. I mean, the button is on the screen, you can't see what you are shooting. Unless you take duckface photos of yourself all day, I find it to be absolutely pointless.

Profile pics, self pics, I also use it for a mirror in a pinch. ........Sometimes, you need to be a little more creative. There are tons of reasons. The op is posting this for those wanting the ability to use the camera. If you want to comment on whether the app has a problem, then thats constructive. If your just commenting because you dont see the purpose in the app, then it is not constructive.

Sorry, but I don't find the reasons you listed as creative. That's just me, to each their own. If I needed a mirror, I'd use a mirror. And I guess you could take extremely fascinating profile pictures with the mighty 1.2 megapixel camera that would just stop people in their tracks..

People take pictures with crap cameras, I take many pics with my girlfriend ETC... Have over 400 taken on this crap camera. You don't find it useful that's fine, no need to state it over and over.

Does anyone know how to turn off the Contacts status message?

U can go to ur contact & edit it to anything or none.

WTF, I never seen that before, just checked & I have it too. I'm pretty sure it was never there before cause I tried deleting my profile/number a few times & it just comes back.
But like babbar said you can edit it, just click on the pencil icon. I made it blank & it saved.

When you save it as blank, it should then say "what's on your mind" when you view your profile but the message will be blank in the contacts list.

That's an option. Trying to avoid that, but if I have too, it shall be done.

Ok. Got it for me at least. I had the text field already cleared. Deleted my old "me" contact. Made a new "me" contact and it's gone.

Hmm, that's odd. Maybe mine deleted fine cause I had profile sharing on? I remember turning off profile sharing before. Perhaps when I updated the Contacts app (at least I think I did at some point) it turned profile shari g back on? I just turned profile sharing off and now I don't even see the "what's on your mind" message anymore.
If you have profile sharing off, maybe try turning it on, edit & save as blank, then turn profile sharing back off.
EDIT: Nice, I see that you got it figured out. :good:

Enable Profile Sharing & you should see it in your self profile.
