Can haz stock odin image for T-Mobile tab? - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Was looking to restore this back to stock firmware since need to send it back for warranty issues.
I searched for a while here and on the google and can not seem to find a downloadable flashable JJB stock firmware for the device anywhere.
I see where it was posted a while back here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=855851
but since then the link has gone south and can not seem to find anywhere.
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of a stock T-Mobile firmware I can flash with odin on it?

Anyone?

Or what would be the right one for returning to a t-mobile software version

Google How to repair deadboot Galaxy Tab CDMA Sprint P100
I would link the Rom but the "awesome" admins won't let new people to the forum really do anything.
I have the files but sorry.

seems like that is for the sprint CDMA one. Would that work for the T-Mobile one.

No, Tmobile in the US is GSM.
total different hardware.

[Q] 3 button recovery/download help please

I have read the thread about how to get this function enabled on my device. There was a list of countries listed but unfortunately did not include New Zealand. The thread I'm talking about is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=785201&page=13, post number 124. My CSC is I9000VNZJH2 which is not listed on there.
I would like to root my phone, but don't want to go ahead with it until the 3 button recovery/download is enabled. Could anyone suggest as to what CSC I should use please?
Once rooted I would like to get the latest/best current firmware, as mine is out of date. Any suggestions which I should use and where I can download it from?
Any other tips are much appreciated.
Thanks in advance. :>

Hey AllGamer, thanks for the suggestion. Yeah I saw that thread previously. It's more talking about how to fix semi bricked phone. I actually don't want to risk getting to that point. Would be nice to be able to have the recovery enabled. I'm wondering if I can use the Australian version maybe. Such a bummer that NZ is a small market for Samsung to worry about their customers over here, which automatically cuts your choices. hehe
I'd suggest PM'ing richthofen and asking if he has a CSC for NZ available. He mentioned in his JM9 thread that he has access to 'most' firmwares.
That said, I flashed with the post #1 method from PDA: JG4 and had no issues with that fix.
When I flashed up to JM9 I couldn't find a HK CSC from his posts either, but found a JH1 firmware from HK which included one on samfirmwares. If you can find a NZ leaked firmware somewhere that has PDA/MODEM/CSC separated files you can probably just nab the CSC from that and use it.
Thanks for the reply. I will flick richthofen a pm and see what his suggestions might be. :>
Let me know how you go with this, as I'm in NZ, and have same firmware as you.
Thanks

Yeah I ran into a smiler issue, I'm in aus but I picked my phone up before it came out here from a HK warehouse, it's unbranded, and as far as I know an international version, I've yet to hear back from Richthofen, as I pm'd him with a similar question but with csc I90000ZSJH1 in place of the nz one. I was wondering if since it's an international version, it could pretty much take any of the unbranded firmwares? or as it's a JH1, which is fairly new if I could just do the fix on it's own as per original method? I'm desperate to play around with roms and lag fixes but won't do it until I have the 3 button recovery option set up.
What was your experience with a HK I9000? I'd like to confirm how you did it (in more detail) so I could do the same. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to this so any help would be very appreciated.
To a fellow kiwi, Richthofen said to use the method desplayed on the first page of this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=785201, as it's most up to date one, and it should work. I will attempt it at some point on the weekend. Will report once done.
Well, I used the method on the first page, just flashing the pbl/sbl. Exactly as it is there.
However, I was flashing from an Australian Firmware/csc (JG4). I bricked my HK phone two months ago trying to flash up to JH1 and sent it to Australia to get it serviced. (Wasn't released in Japan yet, and Samsung HK didn't want to deal with me at all).
That said, if you want to use the flashing a full firmware method (and when you do have to flash a full firmware later) just use the JH1 CSC (On samfirmwares under Asian firmwares). Haven't had any issues with that CSC on JM9 PDA.
I decided not to go ahead with the enabling. The phone needed to rooted in order to use those instructions. The phone is still under warranty, so I'm going to request for the 3 button recovery/download mode to be enabled. Plus I have some weird errors when taking photos, might be just a corrupt external SD card. But I'd rather take it back to Samsung and let them fix it while still under warranty. :>

[Q] Which 2.2 ROM for Australian phone in USA

Hi,
I've recently moved from Australia to the USA (with an AT&T sim) and would like to upgrade to 2.2. Kies still does not have an image available so I'm looking to flash it myself but not sure which ROM file to use.
The phone is unlocked and unbranded. The version details are:
PDA: I9000DTJG4
PHONE: I9000DTJG3
CSC: I9000XSAJG2
I've been reading about the I9000UGJK3 image but I believe that installs the Bell branding on the phone, which I'd like to try avoid.
Which image should I be using?
Thanks
Ivan
use information from this topic

to locate your code
then use information from this topic to flash your phone, using the ROM for your phone

if the KIES comes back with no results for Froyo, then that means it has not been released yet for Australia region, and you will have to pick from any of the other flavours available
or stay in 2.1
Thanks for the quick reply.
According to regedit I have a GT-I9000HKAXSA. This doesn't seem to be listed as a "known" product code just yet. Which might explain why Kies doesn't have an update for it yet.
I guess what I'm trying to determine is a) can any image be placed on any phone? b) if yes, then what would be the best image if I wanted to flash my phone and have it work in the USA on AT&T (I'm trying to make sure that my correct 2/3G bands are still going to work post flash)
Dude, I did this tonight and it worked
http://webtrickz.com/how-to-update-...oid-2-2-froyo-via-kies-anywhere-in-the-world/
And I'm in Australia on the optus network
I just couldn't believe the lag and I didn't want to root my phone just yet
I also couldn't believe that Vodafone got froyo straight out of the box!
when it says "refresh" after you've done the regedit bit it means hit your home button. worked straight away
Vodafone straight out of the box?!? Where did you hear that? Not true I'm with vodafone australia and we got eclair, I did the reg edit to get XXJPO like you

Thanks Guys, I managed to sort this by using Odin and putting I9000XWJPA on it. Almost bricked the thing b/c I didn't read all the documentation completely!
Seems to be working like a charm at the moment.

[Help] Stock sprint Galaxy Tab, mine bricked

I tried to flash my sprint galaxy tab with the firmware that allows you to make phone calls... now i realize that was not for sprint. is there anyway to get back to how i was before with 3g? i was able to load Zypher but that doesnt give me my 3g back. Please help!
Ever figure it out? I bricked mine too :'(
Find and flash an ODIN package that contains the original firmware plus the modem.bin for the radio. PM me if you need any further assistance.
do you guys have the sprint pit and rom?
I tried to do euro flash and get errors in recovery mode about not being able to mount e?
Bricked Sprint Tab!!!
Hey guys I'm a newbie myself but with a little bit of reading I was able to fix the bricked issue. Follow this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=869819 and the Sprint Stock Rom is here. One is with a modem and one is without. For those who are wanting to get back the 3g as it says in the link it uses the 4g epic dump. It looks like your out of luck. Because once you dump this modem there is no going back it's for good. So your better off sticking with the WiFi for now till one day a sprint modem is dumped. I'm also learning myself and also in the process in flashing this via Odin3. I to have bricked my tab lastnight just doing a factory reset. I was using the VooDoo with full CMW ! So just follow the instructions very carefully and you should get your tab working again.

Actually is not a Stock ROM but any ROM which you can get in to EPST or DIAG Mode so PagePlus can program your phone manually.
That's what I did to hero to works with my carrier.
if its sprint branded, it needs to be flashed back to stock with an ruu. if you dig through the hero cdma forums, you will be able to find it. if not message me, i just dont have the link handy. im pretty sure if you click on my name and look through my posts, somewhere in there i posted a link to it.
from there you can use epst to program it, did pageplus accept the phone's esn? if so then once its flashed back to stock sprint rom just take it to their store and they should be able to very easily get it set up with data, calling etc.

[Q] How to remove CSC files from stock rom

Hi,
As some of you may know, Lollipop has came out on what is the closest thing to a T-Mobile phone, the W8 has started getting that update.
There is a thread that exists on how you can port the W8 to your T-Mo and run Lollipop right now.
I'm in a bit of a different situation. I have a W8 phone but on Rogers, which is the only carrier in Canada that has been left out because they are not releasing 5.0.1 but are holding out for 5.0.2. I'm getting the S6 edge this week and dont want to wait until Rogers move their butt. I wanted to know, does anybody know how i can remove just the CSC files from the stock rom and be able to flash on my Rogers phone? The post quoted above shows how to do it but it also adds a few steps to port on T-Mo phone, does anybody know what steps i have to disregard?
FYI for anybody in my situation, i found a stock rom in Note 4 International section that does what I wanted
